High sensitivity quest for Majorana neutrino mass with the BOREXINO counting test facility
No full textThe unique features of the CTF and BOREXINO set ups are used for a high sensitivity study of 100Mo and 116Cd neutrinoless 2β decay. Pilot measurements with 116Cd and Monte Carlo simulation show that the sensitivity of the CAMEO experiment (in terms of the T1/2 limit for 0ν2β decay) is (3–5) ×1024 yr with a 1 kg source of 100Mo (116Cd, 82Se, 150Nd) and ≈1026 yr with 65 kg of 116CdWO4 crystals placed in the CTF. The last value corresponds to a limit on the neutrino mass of mνless-than-or-equals, slant0.06 eV. Moreover, with 1000 kg of 116CdWO4 crystals located in the BOREXINO apparatus the neutrino mass limit can be pushed down to mνless-than-or-equals, slant0.02 eV

In the article features of mass, interpersonal and mass self-communication in conditions of
media reality are considered. The author analyzed changes in the key characteristics of interpersonal and mass communication, which make possible their existence in the virtual world. Mass self-communication, which arose in conditions of media reality and possesses both signs of interpersonal and mass communication, is considered: interpersonal communication expands its capabilities through technical mediation, mass communication becomes personalized and interacts with its audience, competing with content created by users. No full textThe article is devoted to questions of artistic originality and literary context of gothic drama of Charles Robert Charles Maturin “Bertram”. The author analyzes distinctive for gothic literature motifs of revenge and madness through consideration of the key character of the drama. This article provides information about the critical reaction of Maturin’s contemporaries to first theatrical production of “Bertram”. The author also exemplifies the successive nature of Maturin’s drama in relation to the works within its broad literary context.Статья посвящена вопросам художественного своеобразия и литературного контекста готической драмы Чарльза Роберта Метьюрина «Бертрам». Рассматривая ключевые образы драмы Метьюрина, автор анализирует характерные для готической драмы мотивы мести и безумия. В статье приводятся сведения о критической реакции современников драматурга на первую театральную постановку «Бертрама». No full textThe article is devoted to the reviewing of the Fall motif (as exemplified in the main female character) involved in the Renaissance revenge tragedy of T. Middleton and W. Rowley “The Changeling” (1622). The paper identified the key scenes of the drama to help understand the multidimensional and allusive way of the protagonist.The author identifies a number of metamorphoses in the character of Beatrice-Joanna and analyzes the stages of the heroine’s moral decay in the context of her relationships with the other characters of the play. The author also provides the examples of using literary device of the deception of audience’s expectations. There are some chosen scenes from the text of the drama in the article, which are helping to uncover the motifs of duality and changeling, associated with the character of the main heroine. The system of the characters of T. Middleton and W.Rowley play considered in the context of the most important works of Elizabethan drama.Статья посвящена рассмотрению мотива грехопадения на примере образа главной героини ренессансной кровавой трагедии мести Т. Мидлтона и У. Роули «Оборотень» («The Changeling», 1622). В статье выявлены ключевые сцены драмы, помогающие понять неодномерность и аллюзивность образа главной героини. В контексте взаимоотношений героини с другими персонажами драмы автор выявляет и анализирует метаморфозы характера и этапы нравственного разложения Беатрисы-Джоанны. Приведены примеры использования приема обмана зрительских ожиданий. Автор рассматривает сцены из текста драмы, помогающие раскрыть мотивы двойничества и оборотничества, связанные с образом главной героини. Система персонажей пьесы Т. Мидлтона и У. Роули рассмотрена в контексте наиболее ярких драматургических произведений елизаветинской эпохи
Search for a CP-odd Higgs boson decaying to Zh in pp collisions at root s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

The search uses proton--proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb. Decays of CP-even bosons to or pairs with the boson decaying to electron or muon pairs are considered, as well as decays with the boson decaying to neutrinos. No evidence for the production of an boson in these channels is found and the 95% confidence level upper limits derived for \sigma (gg\rightarrow A) \times \mbox{BR}(A \rightarrow Zh) \times \mbox{BR}(h \rightarrow f\bar{f}) are 0.098--0.013 pb for and 0.57--0.014 pb for in a range of 220--1000 GeV. The results are combined and interpreted in the context of two-Higgs doublet models
Problems and prospects of the Russian financial market in the context of structural changes in the world economy
No full textThe article is based on the author's report “On the root causes of the growing chaos and measures to overcome the economic crisis”*. The aim of the article is to analyze the problems of the modern financial market system in the world and in Russia and to give practical recommendations on how to overcome them. The framework of the study was the statistical data of foreign and Russian agencies and financial organizations. The article employed general scientific methods of cognition: analysis, synthesis, system approach, and comparison. As a result, the paper provides a complete picture of the systemic economic crisis unfolding against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic in the world and in Russia. The author indicates its causes and consequences. The work presents concrete recommendations to overcome the crisis. The author concludes that even in the worst-case scenarios of the global crisis, Russia will be able to improve its position in the world economy by pursuing policies to its own advantage. © Glaz'ev S. Accurate Solution of Problem of the Stress-strain State of a Multi-span Compressed-bent Elastic Bar in the Linear Statement
No full textAbstractThe system of linear differential equations of the 4th order has been written subsequently for all the plane strain spans of a multi-span elastic bar with regard to accurate geometric and static matching conditions in the areas between the spans, and it is solved with the numerical method of the 8th order of accuracy previously suggested by the authors and based on the application of a fundamentally new interpolation procedure. It is carried out only by the joints with the interval of integration which enables to avoid the need to execute off-standard transformations connected with the exclusion of additional unknowns from the obtained system of nonlinear algebraic equations as a result of interpolation – as it is recommended in the well-known Handbook on Mathematics when using the traditional techniques of interpolation.The explicit solution results of the test problem on the stress-strain state (SSS) are given for a three-span compressed bent bar

Zhukovsky. The author notes the close connection of this person with Polissya. In the essay «The Enchanted soul» V. Karamazov created an artistic portrait of the famous Belarusian painter A.S. Barkhatkov, a successor of the traditions of Russian
realism. The writer asserts that such brilliant personalities as A.S. Barkhatkov are God’s chosen ones. Caritine A.S. Barhatkov affect their
warmth, sincere love for the country and its amazing nature, extraordinary honesty and simplicity. It is stated that the appeal of the writer and the reproduction of famous people in Belarussian painting is determined by their signifi cant role in World culture.
Thus, the choice of the writer for the artistic interpretation of the personalities of the Belarusian painters S.Yu. Zhukovsky and A.S.
Barhatkov due to their critical role in the development of national painting. The author argues that the formation of their inner world was largely infl uenced by the Belarusian nature.
