Authority of Sultan Makmun al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah in Building Islamic Institutions in the Deli Sultanate
This research delves into the examination of the authority exercised by Sultan Ma'mun Al-Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah in the establishment of Islamic institutions within the historical context of the Deli Sultanate spanning from 1817 to 1924. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach rooted in the study of history and civilization, this study sheds light on the notable achievements of Sultan Ma'mun Al-Rasyid in the realm of Islamic institutional development. Notable outcomes of this research include the enduring legacy of the Great Mosque of Al-Mashu'n and various other mosques that continue to thrive today. Furthermore, it highlights the Sultan's commitment to the implementation of Sharia policies within his domain, alongside his unwavering support for the clergy and mufti, thereby underscoring the pivotal role played by his authority in nurturing Islamic institutions during this period
Pola komunikasi Sultan Makmun Al-Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah dalam mengembangkan Islam di kerajaan Deli
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui bentuk komunikasi ,
kepemimpinan seorang Sultan Makmun Al-Rasyid Paku Alamsyah dalam
mengembangkan Islam di kerajaan Deli dan keberhasilan Sultan Makmun Al-
Rasyid Paku Alamsyah dalam mengembangkan Islam di Kerajaan Deli.
Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan
analisis terhadap sumber data lama yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini. Penelitian
ini dilakukan dengan teknik analisis data sejarah seperti, pemilihan topik,
pengumpulan sumber, verifikasi sumber (kritik sejarah, keabsahan sumber),
interpretasi (analisis dan sintesis) dan penulisan. Dengan melakukan pendekatan
sejarah maka dapat ditemukan pola komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Sultan
Makmun Al-Rasyid dalam mengembangkan Islam di kerajaannya.
Hasil penelitian ini telah ditemukan beberapa hal tentang Sultan Makmun
Al-Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah dalam hal pengembangan dakwah Islam pada
masanya. Sultan adalah seorang pemimpin bagi masyarakat Melayu di Kota
Medan. Dia memiliki perhatian yang besar terhadap perkembangan Islam pada
masanya. Pola komunikasi yang terjadi ialah pola komunikasi interpersonal
dengan kelompok kecil, karena Sultan sering melakukan rapat-rapat dalam
menentukan kebijakannya. Sultan juga memiliki perhatian besar terhadap
pembangunan masjid-masjid pada masanya. Dengan melakukan komunikasi
terhadap pihak-pihak yang berkuasa Sultan berhasil mendirikan Masjid Raya Al-
Mashun yang masih berdiri kokoh hingga sekarang, dan juga beberapa masjid
lainnya. Sultan juga memberikan perhatian terhadap kebijakan syariat di daerah
kekuasaannya, juga memberikan perhatian terhadap ulama ataupun mufti. Dengan
temuan-temuan yang telah peneliti dapatkan, maka dapat disimpulkan Sultan
melakukan pola komunikasi yang baik terhadap berbagai pihak hingga Islam
mampu eksis pada masanya
NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM KEPEMIMPINAN KHALIFAH HARUN AR-RASYID
AbstrakKhalifah Harun ar-Rasyid merupakan sosok pemimpin yang dermawan, suka memberi baik karena kemauannya sendiri ataupun karena diminta. Harun terkenal sebagai pemimpin berkarisma yang dikagumi oleh rakyatnya, sholeh, taat beragama serta piawai dalam memegang pemerintahan. Oleh sebab itu penulis mengangkat sosok Harun ar-Rasyid menjadi pemeran utama karena beliau sosok tokoh yang mesti untuk dijadikan contoh pada pemimpin di lembaga pendidikan Islam zaman sekarang. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif serta tergolong penelitian kepustakaan. Inilah yang peneliti gunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, buku Harun Ar-Rasyid Amir Para Khalifah dan Raja Teragung di Dunia sebagai sumber primernya dan jurnal-jurnal atau makalah sebagai sumber pendukungnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Dalam pemerintahan Khalifah Harun ar-Rasyid banyak mengalami kemajuan-kemajuan. Dan salah satu indikator berkembang pesatnya pendidikan dan pengajaran ditandai dengan berkembang luasnya lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam.Kata kunci: Nilai Pendidikan Islam; Kepemimpinan; Khalifah Harun Al-Rasyid AbstractCaliph Harun ar-Rashid is a generous leader, likes to give either on his own volition or on demand. Harun ar-Rashid is known as an authoritative caliph, loved by the people, pious, religious and skilled in holding the government. Therefore, the author makes the figure of Harun ar-Rasyid as the main character because he is a figure who must be used as an example with the reality of today\u27s leaders in Islamic educational institutions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and includes library research, because in collecting the data the researcher uses Harun Ar-Rasyid Amir\u27s book The Caliphs and the Greatest King in the World as the primary source and journals or papers as a supporting source. The results show that: During the reign of Caliph Harun ar-Rashid, many progresses were made. Traffic accident causing death case is not new and uncommon in everyday life. Yet another story if the perpetrator is someone extraordinary. Deadly accident in which two people were killed occurred in Jagorawi Toll road, Tuesday, January 1st, 2013, at around 5.45 AM. Accident involved M Rasyid Amrullah, the youngest son of Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Hatta Rajasa. Therefore, it is interesting to know “How case of Rasyid Rajasa is constructed in the Kompas Daily for the period of January – February 2013?”
Kompas Daily news chosen as the research object because it is a neutral national daily newspaper. This research is conducted to determine how the case of Rasyid Rajasa is constructed by Kompas daily news for the period of January – February 2013.
Data collection technique that researcher using is by clipping or collecting news texts and other information sources that reports the case of Rasyid Rajasa in Kompas daily for the period of January – February 2013. This study uses a model of discourse analysis technique Teun A. Van Dijk qualitative which emphasis on the meaning of the text. Although the model of Van Dijk has three dimensions, here the author only focus on texts analyzing only. Van Dijk discourse element has three components of discourse structure, namely: the macro structure, superstructure and microstructure. Then the data obtained will be analyzed textually through word choice, word placement, use or selection of language and elements contained in the table element Van Dijk discourse by referring to the table in order to obtain a conclusion.
The conclusion of how Kompas daily constructs reality in the text of Rasyid Rajasa accident case is it delivers the news straightforwardly. The chronology of events ranging from accident to the proceeding delivered coherently. Data and information displayed complete enough to include statements from several speakers. Kompas daily takes more standpoint of the public rather than from Rasyid’s side. Kompas daily presents the facts and tucking some minor without a provocative satire.

DAKWAH MILENIAL (STUDI KASUS TERHADAP GERAKAN DAKWAH TUAN GURU RASYID RIDHA DI KALIMANTAN SELATAN)
The development and symbols of Islamic da'wah cannot be separated from the preacher who spreads
and develops and spends his time and thoughts on the sustainability of Islam in the current era of
modern society. This thesis discusses the da'wah carried out by Tuan Guru Rasyid Ridha by analyzing
the da'wah movement carried out in South Kalimantan. Covering first, how is Tuan Guru Rasyid
Ridha preaching in Islamic boarding schools? Second, how is Tuan Guru Rasyid Rida's preaching in
the taklim assembly?, third, how is Tuan Guru Rasyid Ridha preaching on social media?
This research is a descriptive-analytical qualitative research that is focused on using case study
research. However, the source of this research was obtained directly from Tuan Guru Rasyid Ridha
and his congregation in South Kalimantan. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were
observation, interviews and documentation as well as by searching other references.
The results of this study indicate the conclusion that the movement of da'wah carried out by Tuan
Guru Rasyid Ridha on field Islamic boarding schools, namely by leading the pesantren and the
pesantren business, carrying out reforms system education covers update in the acceptance process
students , learning and construction students , all of them conducted for support the development of
Islamic boarding schools and Islamic symbols . In the field of assemblies taklim, da'wah is carried out
by leading the taklim assembly or large recitations spread in Banjarmasin City, Banjar Regency and
Kapuas Regency , and the movement da'wah in the field of social media by creating and managing
social media Instagram @almursyidulamine_real and the YouTube channel Al Mursyidul Amin TV
by making da'wah programs with the help of the teacher council and their students/students . Then the
author deepens his discussion on position master teacher _ general for the people of South
Kalimantan. Writer find that the people of South Kalimantan in particular ethnic Banjar consider Tuan
Guru has a high position and is highly respected . Tuan guru from the past until now has played a role
as religious builder of the people, motivator of amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar, guardian of Islamic
culture, guardian of the negative influences of modernization including communication technology,
and as a reformer of the education system
Trend of Arabic Language Use in Indonesian Brands: Onomastic Studies on Arabic Shop Names in Tulungagung
The trend of naming brands in Indonesia is always changing from time to time. In the last decade, there has been a notable change from western language (English or Latin) to Arabic language such as Wardah, Safi, and Zoya. Not only national class brands, local shop names are also increasingly using Arabic. Nowadays, we often see Arabic products and shops in the market such as Al-Azhar, Yasmin, and El-Faza. This study aims to reveal the phenomenon and meanings behind the use of Arabic in naming local brands in Indonesia, especially in Tulungagung. The research is conducted using onomastic studies. Onomastics is one discipline of socio linguistics that studies the etymology, history, and use of names. Using qualitative descriptive method, this study analyzes the form, reference meaning, and function of the use of Arabic language in shop names in Tulungagung. The researcher uses observation, documentation, and interviews to collect the data. The results of this study reveal that the naming system for shops in Tulungagung is conducted using particular techniques like using single words in Arabic or combination of Arabic and English or Indonesian. Meanwhile the origin of the names could be traced to personal (self and family) names, geographic names, or Islamic terms. The purposes of Arabic naming consist of showing the identity of the owner, matching the type of products and service and the emergence of halal life style. It is in line with the rise of Islamic spirit which is related with the role of Arabic as a symbol of cultural identity

Sebagaimana yang kita ketahui bahwa para ulama Nahwu klasik membuat klasifikasi kata Bahasa Arab menjadi 3 bagian yaitu: Isim, Fi’il , dan Huruf. Klasifikasi ini tidak pernah menerima kritik dan pembaruan hingga datangnya Tammam Hassan yang membuat klasifikasi kata Bahasa Arab menjadi 7 bagian yaitu: Isim, Shifah, Fi’il, Dhamir, Khalifa, Zharaf, dan Adat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi klasifikasi kata berdasarkan pemikiran Tammam Hassan dan mengetahui sejauh mana efektifitas pengembangan materi klasifikasi kata berdasarkan pemikiran Tammam Hassan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development (Penelitian dan Pengembangan) dengan membentuk dua kelompok (kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen), dengan penggunaan pre-test dan post test (pre-test post-test control group design). Dengan sampel penelitian siswa MA Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Tebuireng Jombang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bentuk pengembangan materi klasifikasi kata Bahasa Arab berdasarkan pemikiran Tammam Hassan telah berhasil tersusun dalam produk buku ajar yang berjudul: “Klasifikasi Kata Bahasa Arab Menurut Pendapat Tammam Hassanâ€. Produk ini memiliki banyak kelebihan yaitu: desain latihan yang penuh warna dan ilustrasi, kolom Fun Zone, serta pendekatan komparatif antara kaidah bahasa Arab dan Bahasa Inggris dalam materi klasifikasi kata (2) Setelah dilaksanakannya ujicoba produk di MASS Tebuireng, peneliti melakukan Uji-T (T-test). Dari hasil Uji -T diperoleh nilai T-hitung sebesar 2,29. Dengan dk= 4 pada persentase kolom 5% diketahui nilai T-tabel adalah 1,67. Disini bisa dilihat bahwa nilai T-hitung lebih besar dari T-tabel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Hipotesi Nol (Ho) ditolak dn Hipotesis Alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dari sini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar klasifikasi kata bahasa Arab menurut perspektif Tammam Hassa terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa.

EXAMINING NETIZENS\u27 VIEWS ON INDONESIAN MUSLIM CELEBRITIES’ WILDLIFE FASHION ON SOCIAL MEDIA
This study examines social media users\u27 views on Indonesian Muslim celebrities\u27 who use wild animal materials in fashion. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the researcher utilized Teun van Dijk\u27s critical discourse analysis, which consists of three levels: text level (microstructure), social cognition (superstructure), and social context (macrostructure). The subject of this research was Instagram accounts and YouTube videos of Angel Lelga, Ola Ramlan, and Syahrini wearing wild-animal fashion items. The results found that in the microstructure level, the comments\u27 word choices, emphasis, and details represent commenters\u27 background, intention, and presumption, mostly influenced by halal-lifestyle. In the superstructure level, it can be concluded that most netizens do not understand animal welfare issues sufficiently. Meanwhile, in the macrostructure, the researcher underlines the notion of power and access, which enables Indonesian Muslims to create a discourse on the halal lifestyle without concerning animal welfare. Since the feminism is not only the subject for women but also for men. So it is probably that an author can be contrary against the idea of feminism or support it. This research is divided into two parts, first the analysis of the intrinsic elements of drama, such as characterization, plot, setting and theme. The second is the analysis of the feminism in A Doll's House by applying the feminist literaly criticism. This research focuses on one subdivision of Feminist Criticism: ideological critic about women reveals in literary works, or kno'~1 as the feminist ideological criticism. Through this research, it is found that Nora is positioned as private and domesticated woman, she is introduced as the weak, stupid, and dependent wife. However, her decision to leave Torvald is a symbol of women's rebellion against men's domination through patriarchy. Indonesia sebagai negara yang menganut prinsip bebas-aktif dalam politik internasionalnya telah lama berkomitmen untuk mewujudkan perdamaian dunia. Selama ini konflik Israel-Palestina sebagai masalah utama yang dihadapi kawasan Timur Tengah telah menjadi perhatian utama pemerintah maupun masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan adalah normalisasi hubungan Indonesia-Israel. Artikel ini berusaha untuk menganalisa posisi geopolitik Indonesia di Timur Tengah sebagai landasan untuk mempertimbangkan wacana membuka hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel.
