    ANALISIS PERMASALAHAN DAN STRATEGI PEMECAHAN MASALAH DALAM LAPORAN PTK CALON GURU BIOLOGI YANG MENGIKUTI PPG PRAJABATAN

    Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan apa saja yang teridentifikasi oleh calon guru biologi yang harus dipecahkan melalui PTK, strategi apa yang digunakan calon guru biologi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dan hasil apa yang didapatkan setelah menerapkan strategi yang telah dipilih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan sofware Nvivo 14. Hasil pada tahap analisis bahwa permasalahan yang paling banyak teridentifikasi yaitu hasil belajar dengan persentase 23%, keaktifan 18%, dan kesulitan dalam memahami materi 15%. Sedangkan strategi yang paling banyak digunakan calon guru biologi yaitu model PBL dengan persentase 38%, E-LKPD 16%, dan discovery learning 16%. Hasil yang didapatkan 88% calon guru berhasil mengatasi permasalahan yang muncul pada siklus II dan 12% berhasil pada siklus III. Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyse which problems are identified by pre-service biology teachers that need to be solved through PTK, which strategies are used by pre-service biology teachers to overcome these problems, and what results are obtained after applying the chosen strategy. This study used descriptive qualitative methods with data analysis techniques using Nvivo 14 software. The results of the analysis stage show that the most common problems are learning outcomes with a percentage of 23%, activity 18% and difficulty understanding the material 15%. On the other hand, the most used strategy among the future biology teachers is the PBL model with a percentage of 38%, E-LKPD 16% and discovery learning 16%. The results obtained show that 88% of the pre-service teachers managed to overcome the problems encountered in Cycle II and 12% in Cycle III

    HUBUNGAN SELF-MANAGEMENT DAN SELF-EFFICACY DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI DI KELAS XI MIPA

    Abstrak. Keberhasilan belajar peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor di antaranya self-management dan self-efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dari kedua aspek tersebut dengan hasil belajar pada pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data uji korelasi berganda. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 50 peserta didik yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari instrumen self-management yang terdiri dari empat indikator yaitu self-motivation, self-organization, self-control, dan self-development, serta instrumen self-efficacy yang yang terdiri dari 3 indikator yaitu magnitude, strength, dan generality. Sementara itu, data hasil belajar diperoleh dari nilai PAS (Penilaian Akhir Semester) peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi korelasi bivariat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, besar koefisien korelasi antara self-management dan self-efficacy terhadap hasil belajar adalah sebesar 0,303 dan berada pada kategori yang rendah. Kemudian diperoleh juga nilai koefesien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,092 atau 9,2% artinya terdapat sedikit kontribusi dari kedua variabel bebas terhadap hasil belajar Biologi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara self-management dan self-efficacy dengan hasil belajar Biologi peserta didik. Abstract. Students' learning success is influenced by many factors including self-management and self-efficacy. This research aims to find out the relationship of these two aspects with the results of learning in biology lessons. This research uses quantitative methods with double correlation test data analysis techniques. The research was conducted at one of the State High Schools in the city of Tasikmalaya with a sample of 50 pupils determined using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used consist of self-management instruments that consist of four indicators: self-motivation, self-organization, Self-control, and self-development, as well as self-efficacy instruments which consist of three indicators namely magnitude, strength, and generality. Meanwhile, learning results data is obtained from PAS (Semester End Assessment) students. The data analysis technique used is a bivariate correlation regression test.. Based on the results of the study, the large correlation coefficient between self-management and self-efficacy towards learning outcomes is 0.303 and is in the low category. Then obtained also the value of the determination factor (R2) of 0.092 or 9.2%, which means there is little contribution of both free variables to the learning outcome of Biology. So it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between self-management and self-efficacy with the learning results of Biology students

    PROJECT PENANGANAN SAMPAH MASKER BERBASIS STEM PADA TOPIK PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING SISWA SMA

    Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis STEM pada topik pencemaran lingkungan terhadap creative and critical thinking siswa SMA. Permasalahan sampah masker di Indonesia sepanjang pandemi COVID-19 jumlahnya meningkat 30% hingga 50%. Sampah masker seringkali ditemukan di TPS dengan volume yang terus bertambah. Masalah sampah masker memerlukan adanya sinergitas berbagai elemen masyarakat dengan peran yang berbeda-beda. Adanya institusi Pendidikan (sekolah) memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan kontribusi besar untuk memulai gerakan penanganan sampah masker. Memadukan model PjBL berbasis STEM efektif untuk menangani masalah sampah masker yang dapat memunculkan creative and critical thinking yang baik. Jenis penelitian ini quasi eksperiment menggunakan dua kelas uji dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Tahapan penelitian dimulai merumuskan masalah hingga menarik kesimpulan dengan hasil penelitian kelas eksperimen memiliki tingkat creative and critical thinking kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol kategori sedang. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan model PjBL-STEM dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Biologi agar siswa terlatih keterampilan creative and critical thinking. Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the topic of environmental pollution on the creative and critical thinking of high school students. The problem of mask waste in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic has increased by 30% to 50%. Mask waste is often found in TPS with an increasing volume. The mask waste problem requires the synergy of various elements of society with different roles. Educational institutions (schools) have an important role in making a major contribution to starting a movement to handle mask waste. Combining the STEM-based PjBL model is effective for handling the mask waste problem, which can bring out good creative and critical thinking. This type of research is a quasi-experiment using two test classes with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research stages begin to formulate the problem until drawing conclusions with the results of the experimental class research having a high level of creative and critical thinking, while the control class is in the medium category. Recommendations from this study are expected that the PjBL-STEM model can be applied in learning biology so that students are trained in creative and critical thinking skills

    Developing animated video-based learning with powtoon to foster critical thinking in data presentation

    Critical thinking is a vital skill for students to interpret data and make informed decisions, especially in data presentation. This study focuses on developing and evaluating animated video-based learning content using Powtoon software to enhance critical thinking skills in data presentation, following the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) instructional design model. In the Analyze phase, a needs assessment was conducted to identify gaps in students' critical thinking skills regarding data interpretation. During the Design and Develop phases, instructional videos were created to target key critical thinking components, including analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. In the Implement phase, the content was introduced to an experimental group, with a control group using traditional instructional methods. A quasi-experimental approach with pre- and post-tests measured critical thinking improvements in both groups. Results demonstrated a significant increase in critical thinking abilities within the experimental group, with mean scores improving from 55.2 to 82.4, compared to the control group’s increase from 54.8 to 65.3. The study concludes that Powtoon-animated videos are an effective tool for fostering critical thinking in data presentation, offering practical implications for multimedia-assisted learning in mathematics education. Recommendations for further research on technology integration in education are discussed

    Pengembangan Integritas Akademik Mahasiswa Melalui Praktik Belajar Studi Kasus

    Academic ethics are supposed to be followed by the academic community, but certain members are engaging in practices that are against these rules and ethics. Students can easily be influenced by these violators to commit the same act. A more efficient approach is necessary for instilling academic integrity among students. The purpose of this study is to analyze case-study-based learning techniques that can enhance academic integrity among students. The role of academic integrity is crucial in shaping individuals to be honest, fair, and ethical when carrying out their academic duties. Academic integrity is linked to the presence of faculty role models, student morality, and the incorporation of religious teachings, as demonstrated by similar research.This study will examine instructional design using Merrill's model and artificial intelligence to generate learning cases that instill academic integrity values in students Preliminary results from ongoing research suggest that utilizing a case-based approach with artificial intelligence can enhance students' understanding and application of academic integrity. Achieving academic integrity among students can be achieved through case-based learning practices that are powered by artificial intelligence. Students can internalize academic integrity values and apply them in their academic activities through the integration of Merrill's instructional design model. Abstrak Etika akademik seharusnya ditaati oleh komunitas akademik, tetapi beberapa individu melakukan praktik-praktik yang bertentangan dengan peraturan dan etika ini. Mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah dipengaruhi oleh para pelaku pelanggaran ini untuk melakukan tindakan yang sama. Pendekatan yang lebih tepat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan integritas akademik di kalangan mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang teknik pembelajaran berbasis studi kasus yang dapat meningkatkan integritas akademik di kalangan mahasiswa untuk membiasakan bersikap jujur, adil, dan beretika dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas akademiknya. Integritas akademik terkait dengan adanya keteladanan dari dosen, moralitas mahasiswa, dan penerapan ajaran agama, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji desain instruksional dengan model instruksional Merrill dan menggunakan kecerdasan buatan untuk menghasilkan kasus pembelajaran yang dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai integritas akademik pada mahasiswa. Hasil awal dari penelitian yang sedang berlangsung menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan berbasis kasus dengan kecerdasan buatan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan integritas akademik pada mahasiswa. Tercapainya integritas akademik di kalangan mahasiswa dapat diwujudkan melalui praktik pembelajaran berbasis kasus yang didukung dengan kecerdasan buatan.     Penerapan Kegiatan Colour Corrugated Paper Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Seni Rupa Anak Usia 506 Tahun

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kegiatan colour corrugated paper untuk meningkatkan kemampuan seni rupa anak kelompok B TK PKK Untung Suropati. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah anak kelompok B TK PKK Untung Suropati yang berjumlah 14 anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan rincian setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan seni rupa anak dari siklus I ke siklus II yang dilihat dari peningkatan kemampuan seni rupa meliputi aktivitas 3M yaitu menggulung, menggunting dan menempel melalui tahap mengenal media meliputi nama, warna, bentuk dan tekstur media, tahap 3M yaitu menggulung, menggunting dan menempel, dan tahap membuat hasil karya seni rupa. Peningkatkan kemampuan seni rupa anak kelompok B TK PKK Untung Suropati tampak pada peningkatan dari 43,9% peserta didik yang mencapai standar 70% pada siklus 1 menjadi 100% pada siklus 2, dan rata-rata persentase capaian klasikal 73,0% pada siklus 1 menjadi 93,1% pada siklus 2. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan colour corrugated paper dapat meningkatkan kemampuan seni rupa anak kelompok B TK PKK Untung Suropati.Kata kunci: Kegiatan Colour Corrugated Paper; Kemampuan Seni Rupa; Anak Kelompok

    Peran Ekstrakulikuler Dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Sosial Anak Usia Dini

    Education is a conscious effort to create something hereditary and cultural from one generation to the next, forming a teaching model for previous generations. Educational institutions have the mandate of students in developing various skills of students, especially in improving social competence abilities in students. Social competence is the capacity to use cognitive and non-cognitive skills and talents to predict behavioral tendencies. This research was conducted at PAUD At TAdzkiroh using qualitative methods used to better understand the phenomena faced by research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews, while data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification were used. Early childhood social competence is important for social, emotional, and cognitive development, and educational institutions need to guide extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are activities that take place outside of school or during school hours designed to encourage students, broaden their knowledge and skills, channel their talents and interests, and develop their personalities. They can also help children develop important social skills such as cooperation, communication, empathy, and problem-solving.Keywords: Education; Social Competence; Extracurricula

    Pelatihan pemanfaatan buku panduan guru pada platform SIBI untuk MGMP Sejarah Kota Malang

    Abstract The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia faces a number of challenges, especially among history teachers, including members of the Malang City History MGMP. One of the problems that needs to be addressed immediately is the curriculum change that will be implemented starting July 2024. Most teachers are still confused about curriculum operations, especially in implementing the curriculum in schools (enacted curriculum). As a solution, we carry out technical guidance activities for utilizing the Teacher's Manual (BG) on the SIBI platform. The History BG, compiled by experts, contains suggestions for curriculum operationalization as well as alternative resources to improve teachers' understanding of essential materials. This community service activity includes preparation, implementation, and evaluation, held at the SMAN 1 Malang Hall, involving 30 Malang City History MGMP teachers. The material presented included new perspectives on the Merdeka Curriculum, essential material mapping, and technical guidance on the use of the SIBI and BG History platforms. Based on a survey conducted at the end of the meeting, this activity was found to increase the readiness and competence of Malang City History MGMP members in dealing with curriculum changes. Abstrak Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, khususnya di kalangan guru sejarah, termasuk anggota MGMP Sejarah Kota Malang. Salah satu masalah yang perlu untuk segera ditangani adalah perubahan kurikulum yang diterapkan mulai Juli 2024. Sebagian besar guru masih bingung dengan operasional kurikulum, terutama dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum di sekolah (enacted curriculum). Sebagai solusi, kami melaksanakan kegiatan bimbingan teknis pemanfaatan Buku Panduan Guru (BG) di platform SIBI. BG Sejarah, yang disusun oleh para ahli, berisi saran untuk operasionalisasi kurikulum serta sumber alternatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap materi esensial. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, diadakan di Aula SMAN 1 Malang, dengan melibatkan 30 guru MGMP Sejarah Kota Malang. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup perspektif baru Kurikulum Merdeka, pemetaan materi esensial, serta bimbingan teknis penggunaan platform SIBI dan BG Sejarah. Berdasarkan survey yang dilakukan pada akhir pertemuan, kegiatan ini ternyata meningkatkan kesiapan dan kompetensi anggota MGMP Sejarah Kota Malang dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum.

    PENGEMBANGAN POWER POINT INTERAKTIF BERBASIS MOTION GRAPHIC MATERI SISTEM PENCERNAAN KELAS XI SMAN 1 MELIAU

    Abstrak. Media pembelajaran sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat membantu guru dan siswa. Teknologi pada era sekarang juga berkembang sangat pesat oleh karena itu diperlukan juga penyesuaian terhadap media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media power point interaktif berbasis motion graphic dalam proses pembelajaran dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran. Model ADDIE digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang dikembangkan oleh Dick & Carrey. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 30 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Meliau, serta tiga orang guru biologi dari sekolah yang berbeda dan dua orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media power point interaktif berbasis motion graphic valid dan reliabel, dengan nilai CVR sebesar 0,99 dan nilai ICC sebesar 0,906. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap media ini mendapat hasil rata-rata keseluruhan 84,22% dengan kategori baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media power point interaktif ini dapat valid dan layak sehingga dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan di kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Meliau. Abstract. Learning media is important in the learning process because it can facilitate teachers and students. Technology in the current era is also developing very rapidly, therefore adjustments to technology-based learning media are also needed. This research aims to develop interactive power point media based on motion graphics in the learning process and determine student responses to its use in learning. The ADDIE model was used in this study which was developed by Dick & Carrey. The research subjects involved 30 students of SMA Negeri 1 Meliau, as well as three biology teachers from different schools and two lecturers of Biology Education FKIP Untan. The validation results showed that the motion graphic-based interactive power point media was valid and reliable, with a CVR value of 0.99 and an ICC value of 0.906. In addition, student responses to this media received an overall average of 84.22% in the good category. These results indicate that this interactive power point media can be valid and feasible so that it can be used for learning digestive system material in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Meliau

    WORKPLACE DIVERSITY AND ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: EMPIRICAL INSIGHT FROM TELECOM ENTERPRISE

    This study fills gap in literature, and make empirical contributions. Dimensions of methodology engaged include survey research design, population (400 employees of a telecom company called Mobile Telephone Network. situated in Lagos State); Taro Yamane’s formular (sample 200); questionnaire; simple random sampling; data analyses (SPSS). Results indicate weak positive, but, significant relationship between gender diversity and organizational effectiveness. Outcomes also show strong positive, and significant relationship between cultural diversity and organizational effectiveness. Moreover, results reveal moderate positive, and significant relationship between age diversity and organizational effectiveness. In line with findings, this study concludes that there is statistically significant relationship between workplace diversity and organizational effectiveness in Mobile Telephone Network situated in Lagos State, and Nigeria is its host country. Sequel to findings, the study recommends that the company should consider career development programs to support underrepresented gender, and implement flexible work policies to engage diverse gender
