This abstract describes the history, influence, and impact of Tuan Guru's political movement in West Lombok. The history of Tuan Guru's political movement in West Lombok starts from a rich intellectual and religious tradition among the local community. Tuan Guru are religious leaders who are respected and recognized by Muslims in this area. Through their dissemination of Islamic teachings, Tuan Guru has gained significant power and influence in the community. This research uses qualitative methods based on phenomena. Gerakan politik Tuan Guru di Lombok Barat telah memainkan peran penting dalam lanskap politik lokal. Tuan Guru, gelar kehormatan bagi para pemimpin agama Islam yang dihormati, telah memainkan peran kunci dalam membentuk arah politik dan sosial di wilayah tersebut. Abstrak ini menggambarkan sejarah, pengaruh, dan dampak gerakan politik Tuan Guru di Lombok Barat. Sejarah pergerakan politik Tuan Guru di Lombok Barat berawal dari kekayaan tradisi intelektual dan religi masyarakat setempat. Tuan Guru adalah pemuka agama yang dihormati dan diakui umat Islam di daerah ini. Melalui penyebaran ajaran Islam, Tuan Guru telah memperoleh kekuatan dan pengaruh yang signifikan di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan fenomena. milik Tuan Guru gerakan politik memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam menentukan hasil pemilu dan keputusan politik di Lombok Barat. Mereka seringkali memiliki basis pengikut yang besar dan setia, yang memungkinkan mereka memobilisasi massa untuk mendukung kandidat atau partai politik tertentu. Selain itu, Tuan Guru juga terlibat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan politik dan berperan penting dalam pembentukan kebijakan daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui substansi materi mengenai perspektif hukum persetujuan tindakan kedokteran yang diatur didalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 290/MENKES/PER/III/2008. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum normative. Teknik pengumpulan sumber penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa di Indonesia doktrin persetujuan tindakan kedokteran masih belum berkembang dengan baik, dibutuhkan kajian ulang terhadap aturan yang ada sehingga bisa mengingat para pihak. Pelaksanaan medis antara dokter dan pasien merupakan hubungan atas dasar kepercayaan (trust).Tenaga kesehatan yang tidak menunaikan hak pasien untuk memberikan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran yang jelas, bisa dikategorikan melanggar case law dan dapat menimbulkan gugatan dugaan mal praktek. Tenaga kesehatan dapat terkena gugatan perdata maupun pidana. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan tentang persetujuan tindakan kedokteran menjadi suatu kemestian agar tidak menimbulkan kasus hukum
The Development of Thermal Expansion Practicum Sets to Improve Science Process Skills of High-School Students
Full text linkThis study aims to develop thermal length expansion practicum sets that are expected to improve high-school science process skills (SPS) in expansion material on metal rods. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Bekasi in class XI by comparing the control and the experimental class. This study uses the ADDIE approach to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the thermal expansion length practicum sets. The feasibility test of this practicum sets was carried out in two ways: conducting experiments and validating tests from experts. The experimental results for the linear expansion coefficient of an iron bar are 3.09%, the brass is 5.81%, and the aluminum is 7.39% from the reference value. All of the experimental data still below the error acceptance level which is below 10%. The validation results give 85.5% from media experts and 86.1% from material experts. The trials on users obtained 93.9% of teachers and 85.4% of students. The N-gain in control and experiment class then compared to see the increase in SPS in each category. There was an increase in the experimental class SPS value 7.3% higher than the control class, where the SPS value in the experimental class increased by 47.8%. Therefore, it can conclude that the thermal expansion practicum sets is feasible to use and can improve the science process skills of high school students
Legal Syncretism in Practice: Acculturation of Islamic and Customary Norms in the Tunggu Tubang Marriage Tradition of Semende
Full text linkThis research explores how local cultural values and Islamic principles blend within the Tunggu Tubang marriage tradition practiced by the Semende community in Muara Enim Regency. The methodology employed encompasses sociological, philosophical, and legal approaches, with data collection conducted through interviews and a literature review related to socio-cultural phenomena and religious texts. The findings indicate that acculturation is a social process through which elements of foreign culture are accepted and integrated into local culture without the loss of their original identity. Within the Tunggu Tubang tradition, Islamic values and local customs are applied in a complementary manner, allowing both to coexist and be sustained over time. Traditions such as the giving of parbiye and the recognition of the eldest daughter’s role as Tunggu Tubang are acknowledged and respected, reflecting the complex relationship between customary law and Islamic law. This research also identifies the challenges and opportunities involved in maintaining cultural identity amidst modernity, highlighting the crucial roles of customary institutions and community leaders in safeguarding traditions. The findings offer valuable insight into the way Islamic principles and local traditions, especially the Tunggu Tubang marriage practice in Semende interact and evolve, shaping a social framework deeply rooted in both cultural heritage and religious meaning
The Dynamic of Muslim Identity In Multicultural Politic of Australia

Taking Brisbane as a research locus, the research investigates modes of conflict resolution that are enacted in a Muslim minority area by considering the operation of Islam and Islamic modes negotiating identity within the wider society. The prime concern of the research based on the questions of how does the Muslim in Australia expresses their identity by developing the adaptation strategy as social action in a multicultural context?. Based on the questions, this article focused on the issues of the strategy of Muslim that used in responding to view and practices of multiculturalism. This research shows that Muslims in Australia have a wide variety of historical and social backgrounds. Amid Australia's multicultural politics, Australian Muslims have different responses to negotiate Islamic identity on the one hand and as Australian citizens on the other. The adaptation of Muslim in Australia then ranges from a moderate pattern, accepting a secular culture, to being reactionary as the impact of the feeling of being marginalized people as a “stepchild” in Australian citizenship
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. This research is expected to provide benefits to all parties involved, in order to support the development of batik kujur based on a creative economy to support economic improvement in the Tanjung Enim community. The strategy for developing kujur batik is based on creative economy by exploring the potential for creation, innovation, housewives and teenagers by creating batik creations with local characteristics of kujur motifs, by adding new creative motifs characterized by the region. This batik industry can increase the income of housewives and teenagers in Tanjung Enim Village
