Role of Ulama Ijma in Legitimizing and Validating Sharia Banking Practices in Indonesia
This study discusses the role and position of ijma' ulama as the basis of Islamic law and its influence in determining the validity of Islamic banking practices in Indonesia. Ijma' means the consensus of scholars in determining the law on issues that are not directly explained in the Qur'an and hadith. In modern times, ijma' has become an important means of addressing new issues in the economic and financial fields in order to remain consistent with Islamic teachings. This study uses a literature review method by examining sources of Islamic law, Islamic banking regulations, and fatwas issued by the National Sharia Council-Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). The results of the study show that ijma' ulama plays a major role in ensuring that Islamic banking activities are in accordance with Islamic principles. Through deliberations among Islamic scholars and economists, the DSN-MUI issues fatwas that serve as guidelines for Islamic banks in providing their products and services. These fatwas are also recognized by the state through Law No. 21 of 2008 on Islamic Banking, giving them official legal force. Thus, ijma' not only serves as a religious guideline, but also as a bridge between Islamic teachings and state law. Through the role of ijma', Islamic banking practices in Indonesia can be carried out in accordance with the values of justice, honesty, and balance as taught in Islam.

Reconstructing Women's Status in Mowea Sarapu: Customary Divorce, Maqasid al-Shari'ah, and Gender Justice in Tolaki Muslim Legal Pluralism, Indonesia
This study examines the practice of Mowea Sarapu within the Tolaki Muslim community in Indonesia, focusing on the husband as the primary unit of analysis. In this context, the husband symbolically "hands over" the cheating wife to his lover through the ritual of splitting the sarong and the payment of customary fines, often without formal divorce. The purpose of this study is to examine the conformity of these practices with Islamic norms (marriage, talaq, ishlah, and maqasid al-shari'ah) and to evaluate the normative position of women at the intersection of customs, religion, and state law. Utilizing normative legal research methods with conceptual and comparative approaches, this study draws on a literature review that focuses on the Tolaki/Kalosara tradition, Islamic family law, gender discourse, and Indonesian positive law. The findings suggest that Mowea Sarapu is able to mitigate communal conflict and restore dignity, but it creates a liminal zone for women's legal status, which is vulnerable to livelihood insecurity, hereditary issues, and stigma. The novelty lies in its framing as a reconstructable "ishlah adat." The contribution of research, in the form of socio-theological frameworks (maqasid, legal pluralism, and gender justice), aims to transform it into a model that is women-centered, more equitable, and in line with substantive justice and the rule of law

The Application of Ethno-ESD as a Strategy to Strengthen Sustainable Environmental Attitudes in Chemistry Education Students
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Engineering Design Project learning model based on Ethno-ESD in actualizing sustainable environmental literacy in Chemistry Education students. The method used was a quasi-experiment with the design of the One-Shot Case Study involving 46 fifth-semester students. The environmental literacy measurement instrument which includes the aspects of Sustainability Environmental, Sustainability Social, and Sustainability Economic was validated using Aiken's V analysis. After Ethno-ESD learning was applied, the test result data was analyzed through normality, homogeneity, and one-way ANOVA tests to determine the effectiveness of the treatment. The results show that all data are distributed normally and homogeneously, thus qualifying parametric analysis. The ANOVA test produced a value of F = 20.365 with a significance of 0.000, which indicates that the Ethno-ESD learning model has a significant effect on improving students' sustainable environmental literacy. This finding confirms that the integration of local wisdom with the principles of Education for Sustainable Development is able to improve students' knowledge, attitudes, and sustainable behaviors in the context of environmental chemistry learning. The Ethno-ESD model is recommended as an innovative approach to strengthen sustainable environmental literacy in higher education
Social Emotional Learning to Improve Collaboration and Questioning Skills in Elementary Schools
This study investigates the impact of social-emotional learning (SEL) on enhancing collaboration and questioning skills in elementary school students. The research focuses explicitly on 31 first-grade students in Palembang. Employing a classroom action research methodology, the study is structured into two cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection involved both observational techniques and testing. The results indicate marked improvements in collaboration and questioning skills across three phases: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. A 19% increase in questioning abilities was observed from the pre-cycle to cycle I, followed by an impressive 33% increase from cycle I to cycle II. This progression illustrates that while students are making commendable strides in developing their questioning skills, they still benefit from targeted guidance from educators to refine the substance of their inquiries. Regarding collaboration skills, applying SEL resulted in a noteworthy 25% enhancement from the pre-cycle to cycle I and a further 42% improvement from cycle I to cycle II. These findings underscore a significant advancement in students' capacities for teamwork, responsibility, and constructive feedback within group dynamics. Overall, the insights gained from this study highlight the effectiveness of implementing social-emotional learning in enriching the educational experience and fostering collaboration and questioning skills among elementary school students

Morrey spaces in quantum theory: on regularity of the solution of Schrödinger equation via fractional maximal operators
In this paper, we investigate the regularity conditions of solutions of Schrödinger Equations with forcing function in the framework of generalized weighted Morrey spaces. We utilize the established boundedness of the fractional maximal operator on generalized weighted Morrey spaces. We prove that if the forcing function does not balance local regularity and global decay, then the solution of the equation does not do so either
RECONSTRUCTING ISLAMIC ETHICAL REASONING IN DIGITAL GOLD INVESTMENT: A QUALITATIVE STUDY OF MUSLIM MORAL PERCEPTIONS
This study investigates the ethical perceptions of Muslim communities toward digital gold innovations in the era of financial digitization, emphasizing the integration of Islamic values, economic considerations, and modern financial technology. Unlike previous studies focusing primarily on economic factors or technology adoption, this research highlights the role of ethics, Sharia compliance, and social norms in investment decisions. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through literature review and in-depth interviews with Muslim digital gold investors, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of ethical reasoning and value reconstruction in digital financial practices. The findings reveal that investors consider not only financial benefits but also principles such as justice (‘adl), trustworthiness (amanah), honesty (shiddiq), public interest (maslahah), and sincerity (ikhlas) when evaluating investment legitimacy. Digitalization is perceived as a means to facilitate accessible, efficient, and Sharia-compliant investment without compromising ethical principles. The study also indicates the importance of clear contracts, transparency, and credible Sharia certification in enhancing trust. These insights contribute to developing an ethical evaluation framework for Sharia fintech and provide guidance for designing digital financial products that are morally sound, socially beneficial, and financially secure. The results further suggest directions for future research on digital literacy, educational strategies, and social influence in shaping young Muslims’ investment behavior
Domestication and Foreignization Strategies in the Translation of Humorous Hadiths: An Inquiry into Translation Ideology
The difficulty of translating humor that is rich in cultural and religious values poses a dilemma between preserving the authenticity of the source text or adapting it to the culture of the target audience. This challenge becomes even more significant in the translation of the Prophet's humorous hadiths, which contain messages of Islamic preaching and ethics. To address this issue, a qualitative approach was employed, involving content analysis of the humorous hadiths in the book Everything Has Its Time by Sheikh Mahmud Al-Mishri, translated by Ustadz Abdul Somad. Data analysis was conducted by identifying cultural words, classifying translation strategies according to Peter Newmark, and interpreting ideological tendencies based on Lawrence Venuti's domestication and foreignization theory. The results of the study indicate that domestication strategies, particularly descriptive equivalent, through-translation, and paraphrase, were used most frequently, while other strategies such as componential analysis, recognized translation, modulation, and shifts appeared less often. The conclusion suggests that domestication strategies contribute to achieving a balance between meaning accuracy and cultural acceptance, thereby maintaining both comprehensibility and religious values. Translators of religious humorous texts are therefore encouraged to uphold this balance so that the message of Islamic preaching remains intact and communicative
