Transposition and modulation analysis on the translation of prayer for rain into do?a minta hujan

Thesis: English Letters Department of Adab and Humanities Faculty, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, November 2014. The study in this paper discusses the translation procedure of the poem on the tittle ?Prayer for Rain? which is translated by Taufik Ismail. The important purpose in this research, the author tries to explain the translation procedures used in translating at poem Prayer for Rain by David Campbell. The writer uses descriptive qualitative method, to describe and analyze identifies the process of how an English word of the poem is translated into Bahasa Indonesia. In addition, this study also identifies whether the translation process results the changes of manner. To suport the analyses, the writer use some books, and dictionaries, namely A Text book of Translation (Peter Newmark), Teori & Praktek Penerjemahan (Frans Sayogie), Kamus Lengkap Indonesia-Inggris a(2004). The writer uses the theory of translation procedure. Finally, the writer finds fourteen words of translation procedure from Prayer for Rain poem. The translation procedure are Modulation and Transposition

Full text linkThis article anaylizes the philosophical and episthemological exposition of the contemporary Arab thinker, Muhammad Abed Al-Jabiri. As a leading Maroccan Muslim thinker, Abed al-Jabiri in renowned for his idea of combating‘irrationalism’ and that of promoting rasionalism in formulating Islamic thought. He comes to believe that Islamic teachings should be seen as a set of ideas com- patible with rationality and scientific notions. In his analyisis, Abed al-Jabiri pro- poses three streams of Islamic epistemological models: bayani, burhani and ‘irfani. By exploring these three epistemological concepts, the author goes further by exploring the authority of text in Muslim society and how to contextualize and read religious texts in modern time

Kepastian Hukum Atas Perkara Penjualan Satwa Langka Kukang (Malu-Malu)
No full textTujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dalam penegakan hukum tindak pidana perdagangan satwa yang dilindungi dan untuk mengetahui pertanggungjawaban terdakwa atas hukuman yang diberikan oleh hakim, yang tidak membuat pelaku merasa jera berdasarkan Putusan Nomor 96/Pid.B/2017/PN.Bdg. Metode penelitian hukum normatif hukum yang dikaji dari berbagai aspek seperti aspek teori, filosofi, perbandingan, struktur, penjelasan pada tiap pasal dan kekuatan untuk mengikat undang-undang. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pertama, penegakan hukum terhadap pelaku penjualan satwa langka menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 1990 penanganan terhadap suatu kasus sangat dituntut keahlian dari para penegak hukum dalam mengungkap dan mengusut tuntas kasus tersebut, bagaimana tindak pidana yang dilakukan, siapa yang terlibat, dan lain sebagainya; Kedua, kepastian hukum atas perkara Putusan Nomor 96/Pid.B/2017/PN.Bdg tentang Jual Beli Kukang (Malu-Malu) menyatakan Terdakwa Agus Sofyan, terbukti secara sah dan meyakinkan bersalah melakukan tindak pidana.

Representasi Makna Solidaritas Dalam Film IT Chapter Two
No full textFilm IT Chapter Two menceritakn tentang kelanjutan dari sekelompok orang yang membentuk suatu kelompok dengan nama The Losers Club. Mereka terdiri dari Bill, Ben, Mike, Beverly, Richie, Stanley, dan Eddie. Kelompok ini sudah terbentuk sejak 27 tahun lalau ketika mereka masih dalam anak – anak. Film ini menceritakan tentang kesinambungan dari chapter sebelumnya, yang menceritakan tentanf perlawan menghadapi terror dari sebuah badut alien yang bernama Pennywise. Dalam perjalanan mereka, ditunjukan betapa pentingnya rasa solidaritas dalam menghadapi banyak masalah, walaupun masalah tersebut sangatlah berat dan juga mengancam nyawa sekalipun. Banyak rintangan dan pengorbanan yang terjadi namun, karena The Losers Club mempunyai rasa solidaritas yang tinggi, mereka pun berhasil menyelesaikan semuanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif semiotika oleh Roland Barthes, dengan teknik pengumpulan data, obervasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam menggunakan metode semiotika oleh Roland Barthes peneliti menggunakan analisis berupa denotasi, konotasi, dan juga mitos untuk menemukan makna solidaritas dalam film yang diteliti. Dari hasil penelitian pun ditemukan bahwa analisis denotasi film ini The Losers Club ingin menyelesaikans sebuah terror yang ada di Kota Derry, tempat mereka semua dibesarkan. Dengan menggunakan janji yang telah dibuat, The Losers Club berhasil menempati janji tersebut dengan tepat. Itu karena mereka mempunyai sifat solidaritas yang tinggi. Sedangkan secara Konotasi, setiap manusia mempunyai rassa takut tersenidiri terhadap sesuatu, tetapi hal tersebut bisa diatasi dengan sugesti dan kepercayaan yang diberikan oleh yang lain. Sedangkan mitos yang dihasilkan adalah solidaritas tingkatan tertinggi dalam bersosial atau berhubungan, pengorbanan diperlukan dalam membuat sebuah progres atau kemajuan dan setiap manusia mampu melawan rasa takutnya sendiri
Islamic Rationality on the Influence of Global Consumerism Culture
Full text linkThe culture of consumerism has expanded globally. Basically, this ideology is a derivative of investment capitalism which gives rise to a spirit of consumption to form "self-identity". As a result, consumerism causes new problems in the order of life, namely psychological and manipulative damage, the formation of new social constructs, as well as economic inequality and ecological damage. This study aims to examine the assumptions in Islamic rationality on the influence of consumerism. This research is a descriptive qualitative with systematic literature review (SLR) analysis tool to carry out studies, interpretations, extractions, and synthetic retrieval of previous studies. The results showed that the Islamic rationality described in the Al-Quran is able to answer the problems caused by consumerism that occur. The assumptions in Islamic consumption that are interpreted in the Qur'an are: Consuming halal and thayyib and avoiding haram consumption; consumption is balanced simply and in moderation; consuming by prioritizing priority needs and social consumption; conduct sustainable and responsible consumption

Aplikasi pendukung kegiatan masa pandemi ini, sehingga membuat kegiatan belajar-mengajar bisa terkendali, dengan baik, walaupun masa pandemi, yang menimpa Indonesia, membuat aktivitas masyarakat menjadi terganggu, salah aplikasi untuk mendukung pembelajaran secara daring, yaitu aplikasi Prezi. Prezi merupakan sebuah aplikasi untuk presentasi berbasis internet , sehingga para guru bisa menuangkan ide di atas kanas virtual dan menjadi menarik, sehingga membuat para siswa tidak menjadi bosan dalam belajar. Nasional adalah merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta di Kota Medan yang juga
melaksanakan Program Bantuan Operasional Sekolah beralamat di Jl. Durung No.
205 Medan Kelurahan Sidorejo Kecamatan Medan Tembung Kota Medan. SMP
Pahlawan Nasional dalam melaksanakan pengelolaan sekolah didasarkan pada
program kerja yang dituangkan dalam rapat kerja tahunan atau musyawarah
dengan melibatkan semua komponen sekolah seperti pihak Kepala sekolah, guruguru/
staf, orangtua siswa, komite sekolah dan pihak-pihak lainnya yang terkait
seperti pengawas dan Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Kota Medan. Berdasarkan
pentingnya pelaksanaan program BOS dalam membantu pelaksanaan program
kerja di SMP Pahlawan Nasional tersebut, maka judul yang penulis angkat pada
penelitian ini adalah Evaluasi Kebijakan Program Bantuan Operasional Sekolah
Tahun 2015 di SMP Pahlawan Nasional di Kota Medan. Perumusan masalah
dalam penelitian ini adalah : Bagaimana Evaluasi pelaksanaan Program Bantuan
Operasional Sekolah Tahun 2015 di SMP Pahlawan Nasional di Kota Medan,
Apakah yang menjadi hambatan pelaksanaan Program Bantuan Operasional
Sekolah Tahun 2015 di SMP Pahlawan Nasional di Kota Medan. Berdasarkan
hasil penelitia di ketahui bahwa proses penyaluran dana BOS cukup baik karena
sudah sesuai dengan kebijakan, BOS belum cukup menjawab permasalahan orang
tua siswa yang memiliki latar belakang ekonomi menengah ke bawah, Masih
belum efisien karena masih ada ketidaksesuaian pembagian alokasi. School Operational Assistance is a government program that is basically for the
provision of operational costs nonpersonnel funding for basic education unit, as
the executor of compulsory education. Junior Pahlawan Nasional is one of the
private schools in the city of Medan is also implementing the School Operational
Assistance Program located at Jl. Durung No. 205 Village Medan Sidorejo
Tembung district of Medan Kota Medan. Junior Pahlawan Nasional in managing
the school is based on the work program as outlined in a working meeting annual
or consultations involving all components of the school as the school principal,
teachers / staff, parents, school committee and other parties related to such
supervisory and Education office of Medan. Based on the importance of the
implementation of the BOS program in assisting the implementation of the work
program at the Junior Pahlawan Nasional, the title which the author adopted in
this study is the evaluation of the School Operational Assistance Program Policy
Year 2015 Junior Pahlawan Nasional in the city of Medan. The formulation of the
problem in this research is: How to Evaluate the implementation of the School
Operational Aid 2015 in the Junior Pahlawan Nasional in Medan, What are the
barriers to the implementation of the School Operational Aid 2015 in the Junior
Pahlawan Nasional in the city of Medan. Based on the results penelitia know that
the process of distribution of BOS funds is good because in accordance with the
policy, the BOS has not adequately address the problems of parents of students
who have a background of lower economic, efficient yet because there is still a
discrepancy division of allocation
