    The emergence of Islamic organization groups outside Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah in Jambon, Gemawang, Temanggung has an impact to society’s religiosity. The religious activities of those Islamic groups tend to be radical and different with the existed other Islamic groups. NU as a representation of Islam Nusantara is known to be tolerant, moderate and accommodative to culture, tradition and all the differences. While radical Islam promotes againts religious traditions. This article aims at describing the NU’s strategy in  stemming religious radicalism. The method used is qualitative descriptive and data is collected by interviews and field observations. The results of this study suggested that to counter radicalism, the NU branch in that region has built mechanism of massive and structured campaign, set da'wah materials using scientific approach, accompanied youth activities intensively. Such efforts become resposibility for all components of society in order to become a stronghold of the influence of radical Islamic ideology, especially among the younger generation. The indicator can be seen in the increasing quantity of students in non-formal and formal educational institutions in Jambon, which is quite significant. Besides, public awareness appears to be selective in choosing incoming Islamic teachings

    Pesantren Weekend merupakan program kerjasama lembaga formal dan pondok pesantren. Tujuan utamanya menciptakan generasi penerus bangsa kedepa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi dan pengembangan kurikulum di program pesantren weekend ini. Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study), digunakan oleh peneliti. Data penelitian diambil melalui teknik wawancara langsung dengan pengelola dan stakeholder lainnya. Untuk memperkokoh data yang berasal daro wawancara, peneliti melakukan observasi partisipasi secara langsung ke tempat kegiatan. Hasilnya tujuan pendidikan, sistem pendidikan, materi pendidikan, metode pengajaran, sistem evaluasi pengajaran tetap mengacu dari kaidah pokok sistem pesantren. Meski demikian titik tekan program ini adalah pada pembentukan adab anak terhadap orang lain.     Dewasa ini iklim kehidupan sosial masyarakat mengalami goncangan peradaban. Semua tidak bisa dilepaskan dengan pendidikan yang diberikan. Mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran wajib sangat berkontribusi mewarnai pembentukan pola fikir anak ke depan. Tulisan ini bermaksud memberikan kritik wacana terhadap materi tersebut dengan menggunakan sudut pandang konsep humanisme pendidikan. Dalam artikel ini pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif di rasa tepat digunakan melihat obyek yang diteliti, sedangkan metode pengambilan datanya bersumber dari library research.  Khusus materi di tingkat MTs, penulis melihat ada beberapa kejanggalan tentang materi tersebut. Pengambilan materi terlalu mengedepankan masalah kekerasan yang berimbas pada intoleransi meski tidak bisa dimungkiri hal tersebut benar-benar terjadi dalam perjalanan sejarah. Kesetaraan gender, semangat pembebasan dan psikologi anak kurang diberikan secara berimbang sehingga muncul sebuah stigma bahwa materi ini kurang proporsional dan hanya memberikan pemahaman tentang semangat menindas dan mengalahka

    The background of this research is the potential for religious radicalism in mosques in Temanggung Regency. They are a radical group that has several ways to control the mosque. This article describes the strategy of the Mosque Organizers Institution Nahdlatul Ulama (LTM NU) of Temanggung in preventing religious radicalism in the mosque. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods namely interviews and observations. The results of the study stated that there were several strategies carried out by LTM NU of Temanggung in preventing radicalism. First, strengthening the management of mosque takmir refers to Aswaja Annahdliyah’s Islamic values. Second, revitalization of idarah, imarah, and ri’ayah management. Third, revamping the management structure of the mosque. Fourth, mobilizing the spirit of religious leaders to strengthen moderate Islamic studies. Fifth, the movement of NU coins (koin NU) in the mosque. Sixth, assisting the mosque when there are problems or not. Seventh, synergy between the Autonomous Agency (Banom) and institutions under NU. Eighth, the mosque’s clean movement. Ninth, identify local lector who are preachers at the mosque. There are several challenges and opportunities in implementing the strategy. The first challenge is the low understanding of the organizational management of mosque takmir. Second, limited religious knowledge from the mosque manager. Third, the structure of Aswaja Annahdliyah teachings has not been structured. Fourth, the massive offer of radical Islamic activities in NU mosques. Fifth, the doctrine is strong about the strategy of mastering mosques from radical groups. Sixth, infiltration of individuals / radical Islamic organizations. Seventh, the strong funding from abroad in the construction of mosques. The opportunity, first is the strong family culture in the community. Second, awareness of the dangers of radicalism. Third, the dominance of NU residents in the mosque’s takmir structure. Fourth, the massive implementation of mosque takmir training. Fifth, the existence of Islamic religious instructors in the villages dominated by NU residents. Sixth, the implementation of the competition for destitution management. Seventh, program support from autonomous body (Banom) / NU institutions. The impact of this strategy to prevent religious radicalism gave birth to the awareness of takmir officials to guard mosques from radical groups. While in the short term, the management of the mosque takmir is set up to 90 percent of the total mosques that have joined LTM NU Temanggung, and there are dozens of mosques that will join LTM NU of Temanggung

    Tulisan ini berupaya untuk mengetahui tradisi kemanusiaan yang diambil dari sejarah terciptanya desa Muncar, Kabupaten Temanggung dengan harapan setelahnya dapat merawat dengan sebaik-baiknya. Secara umum, sebuah daerah pasti memiliki sejarah yang sarat dengan nilai kehidupan. Dalam jejak sejarah pemberian nama Muncar, terdapat peristiwa yang penuh dengan nilai-nilai humanis.  Tentunya perlu kajian yang mendalam dan komprehensif. Menelisik dari obyek kajian dalam tulisan ini maka penelitian menggunakan analisis kualitataif deskriptif karena dirasa paling cocok. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan historis. Cara pengambilan datanya lebih dominan menggunakan cara observasi dan wawancara. Hal ini dilandasi belum banyak sumber tertulis yang berkaitan dengan tema di atas. Dari hasil penelitian, penulis menemukan beberapa nilai humanis yaitu nilai kemanusiaan, nilai pengakuan terhadap pluralitas, nilai non hegemoni, nilai kesejahteraan dan nilai kebersamaan. Nilai-nilai tersebut dapat dilihat dari praktik ritual bernuansa keagamaan sebagai bagian dari warisan peristiwa penting tersebut. Selain itu, peninggalan-peninggalan dalam bentuk kebudayaan material (pepunden) dan imaterial (nyadran, wayangan) menasbihkan bahwa Muncar menjadi prototype yang ideal dalam menjalankan misi kehidupan manusia secara utuh

    Implementasi, Kendala dan Efektifitas Kursus Pranikah di KUA Kecamatan Pontianak Tenggara

    This article is aimed to explain the implementation of the premarital course, the constraints, and the effectiveness of the Regulation of Director General Bimas Islam No. DJ. II/542 Years 2013 concerning the Guidelines on the Implementation of the Premarital Course in the KUA Southeast Pontianak Sub-District. That is because KUA Southeast Pontianak Sub-District did not implement this provision optimally. The type of research the author uses is empirical legal research with a sociological-juridical approach. There are three research results in this paper. First, the premarital course in the KUA Southeast Pontianak Sub-District is held once a week. The resource person delivered four materials with the lecture and answer method, namely reproductive health, reproductive health, marital law, fostering sakīnah families, and the resilience of families. These materials are submitted by the Officers of the Health Service, Head, and the Functional Headman (Penghulu) KUA Southeast Pontianak Sub-District. After attending a premarital course, the bride candidate received a certificate from BP4. Secondly, there are two obstacles experienced by the KUA Southeast Pontianak Sub-District that have not fully implemented the Regulation of Director General Bimas Islam No. DJ. II/542 Years 2013, namely the absence of fees for the Speaker’s honorarium and yet to be present and the management of the leadership related to the implementation. Third, the guidelines for administering prenuptial courses have not been effectively implemented at KUA Southeast Pontianak Sub-District, because there are no derivative rules from these regulations (substance), the unreadiness of officials and employees in implementing them (structure), and the public’s assumption that prenuptial courses are only a formality (legal culture)

    Allah revealed the Qur’an as the holy book of Muslims SWT to the prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel which is used as a guide for human life. namely By reading the Qur'an regularly, Allah has promised a double reward for people who are always close to the Qur'an. Sometimes there are many Muslims who do not know the importance of reading the Qur'an apart from getting a reward as well as a cure for all problems. This study aims to find out how much interest children have in reading the Qur'an and how to add motivation to children in reading the Qur'an. Because sometimes humans need motivation or encouragement to be istiqomah in doing good. This is where the ODOJ community plays an important role in building the motivation of its members. As Muslims we are obliged to carry out the commands of Allah SWT. Starting from the habit of reciting the Koran which decreased during Ramadan among Muslims and less and less interacting with the Qur’an due to increased busyness and routine. In order to obtain relevant and quality data and explanations in this scientific work, the author uses a form of Islamic education approach which is very useful for discovering the nature and meaning contained in the educational process itself and the data is obtained from the field where the educational process takes place in the context of its environment. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The method that the author uses in analyzing the data obtained is by using the methods of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. This study concludes that the application of the ODOJ (One Day One Juz) program is very helpful in increasing the interest and ability to read the Koran in children. With the ODOJ program, children have the responsibility to finish reading the Qur’an regularly so that teenagers will automatically take the time to read the Qur’an

    Teacher Performance in Online Learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Systematic Literature Review

    Teacher performance during the COVID-19 pandemic is an issue in several countries. This article presents a systematic review of literature related to teachers’ performance in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers’ performance includes pre, process, and post-learning activities. The writing of this article was assisted by Publish or Perish 7, Mendeley, VOSviewer, and NVIVO 12 Plus applications. The search for articles in Scopus-indexed journals is limited to 2020-2022. From the search results on Publish or Perish 7, 200 Scopus-indexed articles were selected according to compatible themes into 50 articles. The findings of the theme/topic are teaching performance, clinical competence, work engagement, schools, teacher attitude, covid-19, digital teaching, online activity, distance learning, distance teaching, online learning, education innovation, online exam, digital competence, teacher training, pedagogical practices, etc. These 50 articles were analyzed according to the topic through the NVIVO 12 Plus application, and the results were described according to the research question. The findings of this article mention that teachers’ performance is facing a pandemic determined by mastery of digital devices, digital competencies, digital management, and administration, and others realized through training in the use of digital technology. Further research is needed to determine what, how, and why teachers should perform well during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in learning in or outside the classroom
