    Model Ekonomi Keseimbangan Umum merupakan kerangka analisis dalam ilmu ekonomi yang digunakan untuk mempelajari bagaimana seluruh pasar dalam suatu perekonomian saling berinteraksi dan mencapai kondisi keseimbangan secara simultan. Berbeda dengan analisis keseimbangan parsial yang hanya meninjau satu pasar secara terpisah, model keseimbangan umum mempertimbangkan keterkaitan antara pasar barang, pasar faktor produksi, dan pelaku ekonomi seperti rumah tangga, perusahaan, serta pemerintah. Pembahasan model ini berakar pada teori ekonomi mikro, khususnya perilaku konsumen dan produsen. Rumah tangga diasumsikan bertindak rasional dengan tujuan memaksimalkan utilitas di bawah keterbatasan anggaran, sedangkan perusahaan berupaya memaksimalkan keuntungan melalui penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi secara efisien. Interaksi antara penawaran dan permintaan di berbagai pasar membentuk sistem harga yang berfungsi sebagai mekanisme koordinasi utama dalam perekonomian. Harga-harga tersebut menyesuaikan diri hingga seluruh pasar mencapai keseimbangan, di mana tidak terdapat kelebihan permintaan maupun kelebihan penawaran

    Teaching All Children: The Practice and Challenges of Differentiated Instruction in Ethiopian Primary Schools

    The Ethiopian education system faces critical challenges including low student engagement, poor academic performance, and widened disparities, which differentiated instruction seeks to address by catering to diverse learner needs to promote equity and improve outcomes.The purpose of this study was to assess the practice of differentiated instruction (DI) through the use of various strategies. A case study in nine selected primary schools in Addis Ababa with embedded mixed methods was employed. Data were collected from 200 teachers, 9 school administrators using simple random and purposive sampling techniques, respectively. Data were collected through questionnaire and interview. The findings revealed that teachers lack the necessary knowledge and skills to implement DI effectively. Additional challenges included low motivation, heavy workload, large class sizes, and the absence of in-service and pre service training. Furthermore, teacher education programs were found to provide limited exposure to contemporary educational theories and concepts. As a result, most teachers continue to use a one-size-fits-all teaching approach. The study suggests that to enhance the practice of differentiated instruction, teachers should receive both short- and long-term training on DI strategies. School Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs should integrate DI-related topics, and teachers should be given sufficient time for lesson planning and preparation rather than focusing solely on syllabus coverage. Moreover, teacher education curricula and national curriculum policies should be revised to include modern educational principles, and universities should incorporate courses on differentiated instruction. Finally, further research is recommended to explore effective ways of implementing DI in similar educational contexts

    The Relationship between Parental Involvement and Mathematics Achievement among Private Senior High School Students: A Mixed- methods Studies

    This research was focused on how parental involvement is associated with the achievement of mathematics among senior high school students in private schools. The mixed-methods approach with convergent-parallel design was used wherein 119 students provided quantitative data using stratified random sampling for accurate representation of subgroups, and 14 participants were purposefully chosen to provide qualitative data using focus-group discussions and interviews. Students tended to hold parental involvement in positive regard, but the dimension of "resource provider" had the lowest mean. They earned a fair rating in mathematics. There was a small but statistically significant positive correlation (r = .241, p < .001) between parental involvement and mathematics achievement. Qualitative results mirrored this finding, indicating that academic and emotional parental support enhanced students' motivation, confidence, and mathematics performance, and that coping mechanisms involved use of technology, parental assistance, and peer assistance. The integration of quantitative and qualitative data is a confirmation that parental involvement plays an important role in enhancing mathematics performance; hence, more focus is advised in providing learning materials and presenting stable academic support

    Knowledge Exchange in Academia: A Qualitative Study of International Research Presenters in Higher Education Institution

    This study aimed to explore the lived experiences, coping strategies, and insights of international student research presenters from various higher education institutions in the Philippines. Guided by a phenomenological qualitative research design, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with 14 student presenters who had participated in international research forums. The findings revealed that the student presenters encountered challenges such as anxiety, time constraints, Encountering Difficulties with Internet Connection, and Undergoing Presentation Preparation. To manage these challenges, they practiced coping strategies including Calming Anxiety Through Deep Breathing, Managing Time Effectively, Seeking Guidance Through Communication and Mentorship, and Anticipating Possible Questions. Their insights emphasized Strengthen Self-Belief, Enhancement of Self-Confidence, Realization of the Value of Research, Recognition of Valuable Experiences, Appreciation for Being Chosen as Research Presenters, and Fostering Gratitude. This study contributes uniquely to the field by presenting underexplored narratives of student researchers engaged in international research presentations. The findings offer empirical insights that may inform institutional support, such as implementing structured mentorship programs and providing pre-conference training to enhance student readiness

    Academic Self- concept and Learning Interest among Elementary Education Students: A Convergent Parallel Study

    This study aimed to explore the meaningful connections between academic self-concept and learning interest among elementary education students at a local college, utilizing a convergent parallel mixed-methods design. The research combined quantitative data from 164 Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students across various year levels with qualitative insights from 14 participants. The goal was to examine how students' views of their academic capabilities affect their self-concept and interest in learning. The results indicated that students who maintain a positive academic self-concept tend to show heightened interest in learning, especially in areas such as problem-solving, verbal skills, and overall academic performance. In contrast, those with lower self-concept often exhibit diminished motivation and lower levels of engagement in their studies. Additionally, the qualitative component of the research provided a glimpse into the diverse experiences, coping strategies, and perspectives of the students concerning their self-concept and learning interests. The analysis of mixed methods corroborated that both quantitative and qualitative findings can effectively complement each other. The implications of this study highlight the necessity for schools to adopt targeted strategies that cultivate a positive academic self-concept, including personalized learning approaches, mentorship programs, and initiatives aimed at building confidence. By enhancing students’ self-perceptions, educators can boost intrinsic motivation, improve educational outcomes, and establish a more engaging and supportive learning environment.
