No full textThis study aims to determine the impact of using an electronic debit scheme. The method used is systematic data analysis by reviewing the results of the literature on the use of electronic release regimens to improve the quality of life in pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) patients. The study results show that a literature review of 10 selected journals and electronic discharge planning can improve the quality of life of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) patients. In conclusion, an electronic patient plan can increase self-care knowledge, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and improve life quality.

No full textDari uraian tersebut dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Pertama, Anugerah Syiar Ramadhan MUI (MUl Award) yang diselenggarakan Majeleis UIama Indonesia (MUl) merupakan metode dakwah persuasif yang sangat pas untuk dilakukan dan ditingkatkan. Metode dakwah yang bersifat persuasiv tampaknya tidak menimbulkan resistensi dari pihak insane televisi, bahkan pihak televisi, dalam hal ini produser agama, banyak meluangkan waktunya untuk dialog dengan pihak MUL Kedua, Anugerah Syiar Ramadhan MUI ini telah memberikan wama tersendiri bagi tayangan yang relegius pada bulan-bulan Ramadhan. Dengan adanya program tersebut, paling tidak dapat mengetuk insan media, khsusnya insane televisi, bahwa umat Islam sangat keberatan dengan tayangan-tayangan tidak relegius. Ketiga, melihat kemajuan program tersebut, pihak MUI telah merasa perlu untuk mengembangkan program tersebut untuk tayangan di luar Ramadhan. Tahun 2005 kemarin, adalah tes awal di mana MUI melakukan penilaian terhadap tayangan televisi untuk diberikan penghargaan, tepatnya 6 bulan sebelum Ramadhan. Keempat, Untuk menimbulkan semangat bagi para insan pelaku dakwah dan syiar ke lslaman di media televisi khsususnya dan seluruh umat Islam di Indonesia pada umumnya, yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan mutu dakwah dan kualitas siarannya secara keseluruhan untukmasa-masa mendatang

Development of a computer program for shaft design / Basri Ibrahim and Nang Jamilah Nik Omar
No full textIn this report, a computer program was written in order to determine the size of a shaft to be used for power transmission. The uniform or stepped solid shaft under consideration is supported on two bearings and to be made from any material with known properties. S.I. Units are used throughout the design. The program consists of main program and nine subprograms to facilitate the computation at which is based on ASME Code (formula that establish by the American Society Of Mechanical Engineers in 1927) using the FORTRAN POWERSTATION VERSION 4.0 where The Microsoft Developer Studio is an integrated development environment for Fortran applications. This will enable the Personal Computer to be used to run the program. Then the program been tested and the results obtained were compared with the manual calculation validation. The author hope that this program will be useful for educational purpose and hopefully will help to certain extent the Mechanical Engineering Student who are studying about the shaft design
THE LANGUAGE STYLE USED BY JAMILAH IN RANDA ABDEL-FATTAH’S TEN THINGS I HATE ABOUT ME NOVEL
No full textA small part of a language like a word has a significant function. In literary work like a novel, the author utilizes a word to achieve an efficient and a unique writing style. It denotes that a word does not just define things, but it is also a way to accomplish another element like the aesthetic effect. Hence, it is reasonable for the researcher to do a research on the Ten Things I Hate About Me novel's lexical features. This research objective is the Ten Things I Hate About Me’s main character’s selected utterances. Moreover, The researcher’s main focuses are to identify the author’s lexical choices in Jamilah Towfeek’s selected utterances, and to analyze the author’s aesthetic achievement through the language. This researcher employs the descriptive qualitative research method, and the research data are from Jamilah Towfeek’s selected utterances collected using note-taking technique. The result of the research shows that there are 160 of Jamilah’s utterances that apply five sub-majors of lexical categories, which in words there are 3762 lexical units. The first is the noun category with the result findings as follows, 7.78% abstract, 2.6% concrete, 4.8% proper, and 0.2% collective. Next, in the adjectives category, there are 5.8% attributive, 1% restrictive, 0.1% non-restrictive, 1.08% gradable, 1.06% non-gradable, and 3.4% predicative. Subsequently, the verbs category’s outcomes are 6.2% stative, 4.8% dynamic, 9% transitive, 3.8% intransitive, 11.1% linking, 0.5% factive, and 0.4% non-factive. Then, the adverbs category is divided into two main types. The semantics functions of adverbs’ result findings are 5.2% manner, 0.5% place, 0.9% direction, 0.8% time, 0.1% duration, 0.5% frequency, and 1.2% degree. Meanwhile, the sentence adverbs’ outcomes indicate that there are 0.5% adjunct, 0.10% subjunct, 0.18% disjunct, and 4.5% conjunct. Lastly, the general category in which creates overlapping findings, shows that the results are 85.8% simple, 14.2% complex, 4.1% formal, 95.9% colloquial, 1.8% descriptive, 3.5% evaluative, 0.4% general, 21.7% specific, 1.03% emotive, 0.3% collocation, 0.21% register, 0.05% specialized, 14.2% morphological category, and 0% semantics fields of words. It concludes that the author’s lexical choices play a crucial role in Jamilah’s utterances. Furthermore, the variety of lexical choices utilized indicates the author’s aesthetic achievement through language, which is seen on how the author performs the aesthetic functions in Jamilah’s utterances. The aesthetic functions used are urbane, curt, exuberant, florid, lucid, plain, and vigorous
