    BAYANI, BURHANI, AND IRFANI REASONING IN ISLAMIC STUDIES

    This paper aims to understand the reasoning of Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani through a descriptive qualitative approach, namely by collecting various kinds of literature related to Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani. Bayani is a methodology of thinking based on texts, this method existed before Islam came, Irfani is a method of thinking based on approaches and direct experience related to religious spiritual reality. The method used in this research is literature study, which tries to reveal by analyzing textually and contextually. Textual analysis is carried out using several interpretations and relevant journals, while contextual analysis is the author\u27s understanding so as to form a complete understanding. The results of the discussion can be described as follows: Bayani is a thinking methodology based on the texts, this method existed before Islam came. It is the sacred text that has full authority in giving the direction and meaning of the truth, while the ratio only functions as a guard for the security of the text’s authority. Irfani is a method of thinking that is based on a direct approach and experience related to religious spiritual reality. And Burhani is a thinking methodology that is not based on texts or experience but on the basis of logical truths that when the existence of sacred texts and spiritual experiences can only be accepted if they are in accordance with logical rule

    This research is a qualitative study using a library approach, the object is the epistemology of Islamic education, conservative-modernist-neo-modernist and burhani-bayani-irfani. The data collection method in this research uses literature study. In this stage, the researcher tries to select data (books) in the epistemology of Islamic education, conservative-modernist-neo-modernist and burhani-bayani-irfani. In this writing, the analysis used with hermeneutics, namely the author explains that behind the text there is context meaning or behind the explicit meaning there is an explicit meaning if interpreted literally can be interpreted as an interpretation or interpretation of the epistemology of Islamic education, conservative-modernist-neo-modernist and burhani-bayani- irfani. The author also uses content analysis, namely research conducted on information documented in recordings, both images, sounds, writing and others. With this method, data analysis and scientific processing will be carried out on the epistemological content of Islamic education, the conservative-modernist-neo-modernist and burhani-bayani-irfani schools. The results showed that science continues to develop throughout the history of thought such as rational flow of viewing educational activities as actualizing the potentials of individuals so that according to this flow the essence of education is the transformation of various potential potentials into actual abilities. The success of the transformation of the various potentials that exist in this rational flow, is largely determined by how much the optimization of the functions of sense powers and ratios. Baby epistemology is an epistemology that emphasizes the authority of the text as an indicator of truth. Reason in this epistemology is only as a support text and does not have a good space or in other words lower when compared to the text. In object Bayani tradition can be seen in fiqh. Second, Burhani epistemology is knowledge gained from demonstrative analogies which in this case gives the role of reason and senses in human beings. This article finds the results of an analysis study of Islamic science relations carried out on Andri Nirwana's thoughts. Andri Nirwana is the author of a book that applies Reasoning Burhani in the Kauniyyah verses approach, he tries to break down the pattern of Islamic science relations in the book "Tafsir Ayat Ayat Ilmu". The results of research carried out by researchers are the findings of the relationship between Reasoning Burhani and Kauniyah verses, namely the linking of verses from the Qur'an to science and technology, especially science with the pattern of Islamization of science, patterns of justification and sacralization and the relationship of Islamic science in the construction of Islamic science with a verse approach. -Kauniyyah verses are included in the integrated variant of the Islamization of science pattern

    In recent times, the learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has been perceived to be closer to a radical religious perspective and intolerant behavior. This perspective is very likely to develop because PAI is indeed constructed ideologically. This ideological style is because the PAI curriculum comes from products of Islamic thought in the dogmatic era of codification. PAI dogmatism is caused by the partiality of epistemology in the construction of the PAI curriculum. In order to be able to get out of the ideological-dogmatic style, this partiality must be stopped. PAI can utilize the epistemological division carried out by Muhammad Abed Al-Jabiri. Al-Jabiri developed three epistemologies in comprehensive Arabic reasoning. The epistemology consists of bayani, irfani, and burhani reasoning. These three epistemologies can break the epistemological partiality of PAI and replace it to become more comprehensive and integrative. This article aims to find the formula for the three epistemological relations of al-Jabiri in order to reconstruct the PAI curriculum. The author uses a literature study of the work of Muhammad Abed Al-Jabiri to find a theoretical framework for the epistemology of bayani, irfani, and burhani. This framework was then formulated in the PAI curriculum and looked for the form of relations between the three epistemologies. The author developed an integrative circular relationship pattern using a thematic learning approach on PAI. Through thematic learning, the construction of knowledge built into PAI learning is the result of the integration of three epistemologies that are circularly interconnected. Through this approach also, students will be accustomed to constructing knowledge using three epistemologies in an integrative and circular manner

    Role of semiochemicals in oviposition and mating behaviour of Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae)

    Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae) is the major vector of a number of arboviruses including dengue. Understanding how semiochemicals might mediate the key behaviours of mating and oviposition should lead to a better understanding of the biology of Aedes aegypti and might also lead to practical vector control applications. The results of behavioural investigations into putative egg associated oviposition pheromone have been contradictory and incomplete in that they failed to control numbers of eggs in their experimental design. A previous study found behavioural evidence for a male produced sex pheromone, but an upwind anemotactic response of females was not tested and it could be argued that the experimental design was not robust. For this thesis no-choice and choice bioassays were carried out to test the oviposition response of gravid females to both specific numbers of con-specific eggs and methanol extract of eggs. An olfactometer was designed to test the upwind anemotactic response of virgin females to male headspace volatiles with and without host odour cues. These male odours were also used to bait BG-sentinel traps in the field. While no evidence was found that was consistent with an egg associated oviposition pheromone in Aedes aegypti, results from both laboratory and field based experiments suggest that males might emit a pheromone in response to host odour that attracts virgin females. Results from experiments in which males were not exposed to host odour suggest that host odour might be required to stimulate pheromone release

    ABSTRAK Pada prinsipnya seluruh kebutuhan keluarga menjadi tanggungan suami, namun dengan berbagai sebab dan alasan yang ada pada zaman modern ini, tidak sedikit keluarga yang kebutuhannya terasa kurang mampu jika ditanggung oleh suami sendirian. Maka, banyak dari istri-istri yang dengan sukarela membantu mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga baik dengan cara mencari nafkah di dalam maupun di luar negeri. Dalam kajian fikih yang sudah diteliti oleh para ulama pada zaman dahulu lebih mengutamakan peran suami sebagai pencari nafkah utama dan istri berperan untuk merawat suami dan anak-anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami hukum mencari nafkah bagi istri di luar negeri dan hak suami untuk memberikan izin maupun melarang hal tersebut, berdasarkan sudut pandang hukum Islam dengan teori Maqasid Syariah Ibnu Asyur. Untuk memperjelas hukum mencari nafkah di luar negeri bagi perempuan tanpa didampingi mahram, sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai tambahan informasi sekaligus rujukan bagi masyarakat yang ingin kedua hal tersebut. Setelah melakukan proses penelitian yang dilakukan penulis dapat disimpulkan bahwa; 1) kewajiban memberi nafkah merupakan tanggungan suami, dan hal ini dalam teori maqasid syariah Ibnu Asyur sesuai dengan al maslahat al dharuriyat. 2) suami sebagai pemimpin rumah tangga berhak memberikan izin kepada istri untuk mencari nafkah, karena adanya larangan keluar rumah bagi perempuan dalam syariat bersifat himbauan bukan larangan pasti. 3) perempuan memiliki hak yang sama seperti laki-laki dalam hal mencari nafkah, tapi jika sudah berstatus menjadi istri maka ia harus meminta izin kepada suami karena jika tidak maka ia dianggap melakukan nusyuz. 4) hukum istri mencari nafkah di luar negeri dalam teori maqasid syariah Ibnu Asyur masuk dalam kategori al maslahat al tahsiniyat dan al maslahat al dzanniyat. ABSTRACT In principle, all of the family needs become husband's dependents, but with various reasons and reasons that exist in this modern age, not a few families whose needs feel less capable if borne by husband alone. So, many of the wives who volunteered to help meet the family needs well by making a living at home and abroad. In the fiqh study that has been examined by scholars in ancient times more prioritizing the role of the husband as the main breadwinner and wife plays a role in caring for his husband and children. This study aims to understand the law of making a living for wives abroad and husband's rights to give permission or forbid this, based on the point of view of Islamic law with the theory of Maqasid Syariah Ibn Asyur. To clarify the law of making a living abroad for women without being accompanied by Mahram, so that it can be used as an additional information as well as references for the people who want both of these things. After conducting the research process carried out by the author it can be concluded that; 1) The obligation to provide a living is a response to the husband, and this is in the theory of Maqasid Syariah Ibn Asyur according to Al Maslahat Al Dharuriyat. 2) Husband as a household leader has the right to give permission to the wife to make a living, because the prohibition of out of the house for women in the Shari'a is an appeal not for sure prohibitions. 3) Women have the same rights as men in terms of making a living, but if they have become a wife then he must ask permission to the husband because if not then he is considered doing nusyuz. 4) The law of the wife made a living abroad in the theory of Maqasid Syariah Ibn Asyur in the category of Al Maslahat Al Tahsiniyat and Al Maslahat Al Dzanniyat. مستخلص البحث من حيث المبدأ، أصبحت جميع احتياجات الأسرة مع اعتماد الزوج، ولكن بأسباب مختلفة وأسباب موجودة في هذا العصر الحديث، وليس بعض الأسر التي تشعر احتياجاتها بأنها أقل قدرة إذا قام بها الزوج وحدها. لذلك، فإن العديد من الزوجات الذين تطوعوا للمساعدة في تلبية الأسرة يحتاجون جيدا من خلال العيش في الداخل والخارج. في دراسة الفقه التي تم فحصها من قبل العلماء في العصور القديمة تحترم دور الزوج كما يلعب المعيل الرئيسي والزوجة دورا في رعاية زوجه وأطفاله. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى فهم قانون صنع العيش للزوجات في الخارج وحقوق الزوج في إعطاء إذن أو منع هذا، بناء على وجهة نظر الشريعة الإسلامية بنظرية مقصية الشريعية بن آشور. لتوضيح قانون صنع حي في الخارج للنساء دون أن يرافقه محرم، بحيث يمكن استخدامها كمعلومات إضافية بالإضافة إلى مراجع للأشخاص الذين يريدون كل من هذه الأشياء. بعد إجراء عملية البحث المنفذة من قبل المؤلف، يمكن إبرام ذلك؛ 1) الالتزام بتقديم لقمة العيش هو استجابة للزوج، وهذا في نظرية مقاصد الشريعة ابن عاشور حسب المعوض الضرورية. 2) الزوج كزعيم أوسطية له الحق في تقديم إذن للزوجة لكسب العيش، لأن حظر خارج المنزل للنساء في الشريعة هو نداء ليس بالتأكيد المحظورات. 3) المرأة لديها نفس الحقوق مثل الرجال من حيث العيش، ولكن إذا أصبحوا زوجة، فيجب أن يطلب إذن من الزوج لأنه إذا لم يكن الأمر كذلك، فهو تعتبر ناشزة. 4) قدم قانون الزوجة معيشة في الخارج في نظرية مقاصد الشريعة ابن عاشور في فئة الموضة التحسنية والمصلحة الظنية

    Measuring compliance during aircraft (Component) redeliveries at KLM engineering & maintenance

    Aircraft and aircraft components are redelivered to the next operator or owner during the phase-out process. During this process the operator is required by law and contract requirements to show compliance with maintenance procedures. At KLM E&amp;M the phase-out documentation process is under increasing scrutiny as the number of aircraft phase-outs is assumed to rise in the coming years. The compliance process is investigated in order to measure, analyze and improve compliance with regard to maintenance data and record keeping during aircraft (component) redeliveries. For this purpose a benchmarking study is conducted to identify process bottlenecks. This study proved that in the case of KLM E&amp;M phase-out, Landing Gears Life Limited Parts (LG LLPs) form the major bottleneck. Subsequently, an aircraft compliance model is developed to support the compliance cycle. As a case study, the documentation of LG LLPs of KLM's Boeing B737 aircraft fleet is investigated in this research. LG LLPs which are most frequently interchanged and installed on the nose gear miss the highest percentage of documentation necessary to prove back-to-birth traceability (a traceable history of a component over its life), which is a necessary feature from a phase-out perspective. On the basis of the compliance model and the observed data, several improvements to the phase-out process are proposed.</p
