    Luhur Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School is one of the huts located in the Semarang area, to be precise, in the Sampangan Village. The Islamic boarding school is part of the Wahid Hasyim Semarang University (UNWAHAS) foundation. In implementing the student licensing system, Luhur Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School still applies the conventional system, students must meet the management and fill in the data in the permit book when applying for a permit. The licensing process using this method raises problems such as the large number of students who do not carry out permits according to the procedure, the data of students whose permits cannot be managed validly due to negligence. The purpose of this research is to produce a system that can speed up the process of managing, inputting, and storing student licensing data more effectively and efficiently. In making this information system the author uses the waterfall method which is the development of a system or software with the process of working on a system carried out sequentially and systematically. The results of this study are a web-based licensing system at the Luhur Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School using the Laravel Framework. This licensing system can assist students in applying for permits at PPLWH more effectively and efficiently, assisting administrators in viewing lists of permit applications and recapitulating permits according to the type

    Digital wallets or E-wallets play a very important role in changing society. A digital wallet (e-wallet) is an electronic service for storing payment instrument data using electronic money that can hold funds. E-wallet is considered an effective transaction tool because it is easy to use, efficient and practical, the use of e-wallets is a new habit ('urf) for the general public in carrying out digital-based transaction activities, the author wants to know how the 'urf perspective on the practice of using Digital Wallets (e-wallets) as a transaction tool for lecturers at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Hasyim Asy'ari Tebuireng University Jombang.The author uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the interviews obtained state that the use of e-wallets as a transaction tool is very easy with features that suit the needs and use of e-wallets and in the view of ‘urf, this e-wallet is classified as ‘urf shahih, because the purpose of use is carried out as needed and not excessive. so that it is effective in helping to facilitate transactions in the midst of busy activities and still paying attention to the provisions of Islamic law.Dompet digital atau E-wallet berperan sangat penting dalam perubahan peradapan masyarakat. Dompet digital (e-wallet) adalah layanan elektronik untuk menyimpan data instrumen pembayaran menggunakan uang elektronik yang dapat menampung dana. E-wallet dianggap sebagai alat transaksi yang efektif karena mudah digunakan, efisien dan praktis, penggunaan e-wallet merupakan kebiasaan (‘urf) baru bagi masyarakat umum dalam melakukan kegiatan transaksi yang berbasis digital, penulis ingin mengetahui bagaimana perspektif ‘urf terhadap praktik penggunaan Dompet Digital (e-wallet) sebagai alat transaksi bagi dosen Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang.Penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil wawancara yang diperoleh menyatakan penggunaan e-wallet sebagai alat transaksi sangat memudahkan dengan fitur-fitur yang sesuai kebutuhan dan penggunaan ¬e-wallet dan dalam pandangan ‘urf, e-wallet ini tergolong ‘urf  shahih, karena tujuan penggunaan dilakukan sesuai kebutuhan dan tidak berlebihan. sehingga efektif dalam membantu mempermudah bertransaksi ditengah padatnya aktivitas dan tetap memperhatikan ketentuan syari’at agama Islam

    This article will answer a question who is the Sufism teacher Ḥaḍrat al-Shaykh Hasyim Asy'ari in Makkah? To answer this question, the writer uses primary and secondary data. The first is primary data, the author is guided by the manuscript in the book of Ḥaḍrat al-Shaykh's legacy. A philological approach is needed to read it. While the second is secondary data, the author refers to Snouck Hurgronje's writing which records the activities of the hajj, especially the Javanese community in Mecca. In this study, the authors found data on the name of Syekh ‘Abd al-Shakūr Surabaya as Ḥaḍrat al-Shaykh's teacher in the field of Sufism along with some information related to the teacher that is not often found in the existing literature

    A Kyai who leads an Islamic boarding school (pesantren) has its own characteristics which cannot be separated from educational background, family and environmental factors. This article discusses the leadership of KH. Hasyim Muzadi in pesantren, organizations and politics. In this article, the author uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive type of literature study. The article’s findings show that the leadership of KH. Hasyim Muzadi has several styles, namely charismatic, populistic and democratic. Leadership of KH. Hasyim Muzadi succeeded in creating an independent pesantren, an organization with an international reputation and an ethical politics with a positive image. Seorang Kyai yang memimpin pesantren memiliki karakteristik tersendiri yang tidak lepas dari faktor background pendidikan, keluarga dan lingkungan. Artikel ini membahas kepemimpinan KH. Hasyim Muzadi dalam pesantren, organisasi dan politik. Dalam artikel ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis studi pustaka yang bersifat deskriptif. Temuan artikel menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan KH. Hasyim Muzadi memiliki beberapa gaya, yaitu kharismatik, populistik dan demokratik. Kepemimpinan KH. Hasyim Muzadi sukses mewujudkan pesantren yang mandiri, organisasi yang bereputasi internasional dan etika politik yang bercitra positif.     Characteristic of Teachers in Islamic Education Assessing Research of KH. Mohammad Hasyim Asy’ari.The problems of study can be describe by the author, namely: First, how are the teacher’s characteristic in Islamic education according to KH. Mohammad Hasyim Asy’ari? Second, how are the ethics of teachers in Islamic education according to KH. Mohammad Hasyim Asy’ari? The author use library research, and qualitative approach. The data collected by using: Library research method, observation, and documentation, the data analyzed by interpretation and content analysis. According to the finding of this research, it can be concluded: according to KH. Mohammad Hasyim Asy’ari the teacher’s characteristic in Islamic education can be seen from the ethics that should be owned by a teacher. The ethics are: (a) Personally a teacher. Such as, always remember to Allah, wara’, tawaddhu’, zuhud, etc. (b) The teacher’s ethics in teaching. Such as, free from hadats and najis, read prayer, sitting in a place that can be seen by all of students, give chance to the students to ask, and set the schedule.     K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari in formulating the teacher's code of ethics, he first looked at the teacher as a profession that was very sacred and loaded with values of worship. The task of the teacher is not only limited to the activity of providing teaching, but also to provide education in the real sense. Namely directing students to have noble character and personality and noble behavior in accordance with religious and ethical norms. This paper aims to examine the code of ethics of a teacher described by KH. Hasyim Ash'ari in Chapters 5 through 8 of the book of Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim. Using library research methods by taking several discussion points related to the purpose of writing. And among the results of this study are: 1. The Adabul Book ‘Alim Wal Muta’allim is one of the monumental works of KH Hasyim Asy’ari who talks about morals for education practitioners. 2. The author can pull some of the main substances that the author classifies into 5 important points, namely: related to the nature of the teacher; teacher as a profession; basic concepts of teaching / educating; teaching / educating methods; and the progression of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari about the teacher's code of ethics. 3. Teacher code of conduct formulated by KH.     This study aims to determine the thought of Islamic education and the contribution of KH. Hasyim Asy\u27ari. The research method used in this research is the Library Research method, which is a series of activities related to library information collection methods, reading and writing, and processing research material. The data analysis technique that the author uses in this research is content analysis or what is often called content analysis. This content analysis is used to compare one research with other research that is in accordance with this article. It is a research that uses literature sources from articles and journals to obtain research information. This article also discusses the challenges and opportunities in applying K.H. Hasyim Asy\u27ari\u27s educational thought in the context of modern education. The challenges include the different views and interests in the current education system, while the opportunities lie in the community\u27s need for value-based and character development-oriented education. The results of the study explain that K.H. Hasyim Asy\u27ari introduced the impact of his appearance on various sides of life, especially in the field of religion, considering the reflection for the field of schooling. The idea of schooling applied by K.H. Hasyim Asy\u27ari relies on the Qur\u27an as a worldview that combines three points of view because it depends on God\u27s revelation that a total schooling system with instructive purposes is given, as well as the type of information according to its capabilities.     Ethical Values of Online Islamic Education Based on the Perspective of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari

    This study aims to explain the reality of the teaching of Islamic education (PAI) through the online system during the coronavirus pandemic that affects ethical values from the point of view of the book of Adab al-'Alim wa al-Muta'allim by KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari. There are four focuses in this article: (1) the concept of Islamic education (PAI), (2) the problems of PAI learning through an online system, (3) the ethical values ​​of PAI learning from the perspective of the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim and (4) analysis of the ethical values ​​of PAI learning through an online system based on the perspective of the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim. This article is based on library research. In collecting the data, the authors use the method of documentation and recording. To analyze the data, the author uses content and descriptive analysis. In this article, the author argues that according to the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim, online learning cannot meet the ethical standards ​​that should be obtained through face-to-face learning. In order to address this issue, there are some recommendations: (1) at the beginning of the online lesson; the teacher can start by reading the Quran, reciting dhikr, or repeating the memorization of short verses of the Quran, or hadiths, (2) the amount and the pace of the lesson must be adjusted, (3) If it is necessary, additional learning can be provided, by a home visit with the application of strict health protocols of Covid-19.&nbsp
