Manajemen Peningkatan Profesionalisme Guru Sekolah Dasar Di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sarolangun
This research is focused on increasing the professionalism of educators in elementary school teachers in the Sarolangun District Education Office. The purpose of this study was to find out about the management model for improving the professionalism of elementary school teachers in Sarolangun Regency. This research method is a qualitative method that tries to explore and raise all problems and find solutions in accordance with facts and data that is accurate and accurate so that it can be a reference in the management of teacher professionalism improvement in elementary school teachers in Sarolangun Regency. Data collection techniques in this study by (1) interviews; (2) questionnaire (3) documentation study. Informants in this study were officials in the education office involved in basic education, school supervisors, education boards, PGRI, principals and elementary school teachers. The results showed that the management of teacher professional improvement was carried out through three main programs, namely 1) Improvement of teacher qualifications 2) Improvement of teacher competency, 3) improvement of teacher welfare. STRATEGI KEPALA SEKOLAH MENUMBUHKAN BUDAYA BACA DI SDN 131/IV KOTA JAMBI
Students’ reading skill has a big influence for students in determining their success in learning process. Students who are able to read well and faster will achieve good learning outcomes. By knowing the importance of reading skills, school must be able to build students’ reading culture. This study aims to find out the principal's strategy in building the students’ reading culture. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. This research located at SDN 131 / IV Jambi. The subjects of the research were the principal and the teacher. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were reduction, display and verification. The results showed that the principal's strategy in building students’ reading culture were carried out with habituation, exemplar, cooperation, provision of facilities and infrastructure as well as a reading clinic. This study concluded that the principal's strategy in building students’ reading culture in the school were by forming a reading habit before starting learning process, being an exemplar by reading along with teachers and students, providing reading culture clinics for teachers and students and building cooperation with institutions such as Tanoto Foundation
STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN KELAS YANG EFEKTIF DALAM MENUMBUHKAN SIKAP DISIPLIN SISWA
The purpose of this study is to describe the strategies of effective classroom teachers in growing student discipline. This study used a qualitative phenomenological approach with the subject of the study being three high school teachers of SDN 211 / IX Mendalo Darat. Data is collected through observation and interviews and analyzed by classifying data, reducing data, presenting and drawing conclusions. The results showed an effective classroom management strategy undertaken by the teacher in fostering student disciplinary attitudes reflected in optimizing classroom management, seating arrangements that are hydrogen, playing sound intonation during learning, and student attendance in class on time. The research concludes that students' disciplinary attitudes can be grown by the teacher's strategy in effective classroom management.Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang strategi guru kelas yang efektif dalam menumbuhkan sikap disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas tinggi SDN 211/IX Mendalo Darat sebanyak tiga orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta dianalisis dengan cara pengklasifikasian data, reduksi data, menyajian dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan strategi pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dilakukan guru dalam menumbuhkan sikap disiplin siswa tercermin dari pengoptimalan pengelolaan kelas, pengaturan tempat duduk yang hetrogen, memainkan intonasi suara saat pembelajaran, dan kehadiran siswa masuk kelas dengan tepat waktu. Penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa sikap disiplin siswa dapat ditumbuhkan dengan strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas yang efektif
PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN KEBIASAAN BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SD NO 135/VII PASAR SINGKUT KECAMATAN SINGKUT KABUPATEN SAROLANGUN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar motivasi dan kebiasaan belajar mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika kelas V SD No 135/VII Pasar Singkut tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian yaitu ingin mendeskripsikan pengaruh antara motivasi terhadap hasil belajar, kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar, motivasi dan kebiasaan belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Regresi ganda pada variabel X1 dan X2 terhadap Y sebesar Fhitung > Ftabel maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi dan kebiasaan belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD No 135/VII Pasar Singkut tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebesar 28,52% dan 71,48% dipengaruhi variabel lain. Implementasi Penugasan Dosen ke Sekolah (PDS) dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Guru Dalam Manajemen Kelas di SDN No.53/IX Muaro Jambi
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui implementasi PDS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam manajemen Kelas di kelas II SDN No 53/IX Muaro Jambi. Kegiatan PDS ini dilaksanakan di SDN No 53/IX Muaro Jambi, Pada kelas dua dengan pola pembelajaran tematik. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan Data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan PDS secara umum adalah tersusunnya perangkat pembelajaran secara baik dan benar, Secara khusus yang terfokus dalam manajemen kelas adalah guru mampu menata lingkungan fisik kelas yang baik, guru mampu menegakkan tingkah laku siswa, guru memehami masalah masalah manajemen kelas. Kesimpulan Program PDS memberikan dampak yang positif baik pada guru maupun dosen serta sekolah dan lembaga pencetak guru /LPTK dalam berbenah diri melalui kegiatan berkolaborasi untuk memecahkan masalah dalam dunia pendidikan
PELATIHAN PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ICT PADA SMP NEGERI 1 MUARO JAMBI
The presence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning is a challenge in itself for the world of education, in particular, learning technology today. Demands in responding to the globalization of education have appeared before our eyes. Various computer devices and their connections can deliver students to learn quickly and accurately if used correctly and appropriately. Therefore, it requires human resources who are responsive to ICT developments Learning will be more fun if the teacher is able to make ICT-based teaching materials that can increase student creativity. With the use of ICT-based teaching materials in learning, the learning process will be more interesting and can make students more contextual. If we observe carefully, until now teachers have not been able to develop ICT-based learning. In the learning process, the teacher still uses the old method, namely teacher-centered learning, so that students are less able to develop their creativity. This condition is also found in teachers at SMP N 1 Muaro Jambi. Where some teachers have not been able to carry out the ICT-based learning process, especially in compiling and making teaching materials, so that the learning process is only traditional, namely by lecturing, a little question and answer. Through community service activities, it will help teachers improve their competence in mastery of ICT which is useful in the learning process
IMPLEMENTASI MODEL KOMPETENSI KEPEMIMPINAN SEKOLAH DI SEKOLAH PENGGERAK (STUDI ANALISIS MODEL KOMPETENSI KEPEMIMPINAN SEKOLAH MITRA UNIVERSITAS JAMBI)
The background of this research is that the school leadership competency model determines the proper implementation of the Mobilization School program to realize the Pancasila Student Profile. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the competency model of school leadership directly proportional to the quality of education. The formulation of this research is "how is the school leadership competency model in driving schools?The supporting theory used in this study is the theory of school leadership competency models, and the concept of driving schools. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The research location is at the partner elementary school, namely SD No. 47/IV Jambi City. The research subjects were school principals and teachers. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using the Milles and Huberman approach, namely data reduction, data display and data verification. Testing the validity of the data using triagulation techniques. The results of the study show that the competence of self-development and other people, learning leadership competence, school management leadership competence of the principal is proficient. The principal builds a leadership culture among teachers through good and student-oriented management. The implementation and competence of the school principal's development are in the proficient category. In principle, the implementation of the school leadership model owned by the principal of SDN 47 Jambi City is good, ideal and appropriate for the implementation of the driving school program in realizing the Pancasila student profile.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa model kompentensi kepemimpinan sekolah menentukan telaksananya program Sekolah Penggerak dengan baik untuk mewujudkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalis model kompetensi kepemimpinan sekolah bebanding lurus dengan kualitas pendidikan. Rumusan penelitian ini adalah “bagaimana model kompetensi kepemimpinan sekolah di sekolah penggerak?
Teori pendukung yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori model kompetensi kepemimpinan sekolah, dan konsep sekolah penggerak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian di sekolah dasar mitra yaitu SD No. 47/IV Kota Jambi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Milles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triagulasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada kompetensi pengembangan diri dan orang lain, kompetensi kepemimpinan pembelajaran, kompetensi kepemimpinan manajemen sekolah kepala sekolah sudah mahir. Kepala sekolah membangun budaya kepemimpinan di kalangan guru melalui manajemen yang baik dan berorientasi pada murid. Pelaksanaan dan kompetensi pengembangan sekolah kepala sekolah berkategori cakap. Pada prinsipnya implementasi model kepemimpinan sekolah yang dimiliki kepala sekolah SDN 47 kota jambi sudah baik, ideal dan layak untuk implementasi program sekolah penggerak dalam mewujudkan profil pelajar pancasila
SOSIALISASI PROGRAM SEKOLAH PENGGERAK DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH SINGKUT
Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah didapat informasi bahwa warga sekolah masih minim, belum mengetahui program-program sekolah penggerak sebagai paradigma baru, pembelajaran terdiferensiasi, profil pelajar Pancasila. Belum mengetahui bahwa sekolah penggerak berfokus pada pengembangan hasil belajar siswa secara holistik, yang mencakup kompetensi dan karakter yang diawali dengan SDM yang unggul (kepala sekolah dan guru). Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu pemecahan yanng komperehensif perlu adanya kegiatan atau program untuk pelatihan dan sosialisasi baca warga sekolah melalui kegiatan pelatihan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen PGSD tentang program sekolah penggerak akan memberi solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi warga sekolah tersebut. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, yaitu: 1) Dihasilkannya warga sekolah mempunyai pengetahuan dan kemampuan untuk menumbuhkan melaksanakan program sekolah penggerak, dan 2) Adanya pendampingan yang bersifat konsultatif
