The Constraints of The Teachers in The Implementation of 2013 Curriculum At SMP Negeri 1 Dullah, Maluku
Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the constraints of the teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This study was descriptive research. The subjects were teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Dullah. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. The data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data was obtained through the method triangulation. The results of the study show that the constraints experienced by the teacher include making learning media, understanding teachers, integrating inter-learning lessons in thematic learning, and mastering information technology. While other constraints originating from the government include the distribution of books, assessment, teacher administration, time allocation, socialization, guidelines for implementing the curriculum, and learning activities in student books
Konstruksi Citra Joko Widodo dalam Sampul Majalah Milenial Arrajol, Arab Saudi, Edisi 20 Mei 2019
Indonesian President Joko Widodo is widely discussed on social media because he was chosen as the cover story in Arrajol, a monthly Arabic men’s lifestyle magazine published in Saudi Arabia. On its official Facebook page, Arrajol displays a promotional video of their latest edition by writing, “President of Indonesia, a figure in the new edition of Arrajol magazine.” The video was uploaded by Arrajol on Thursday, May 16, 2019. The purposes of this study are to determine the symbol contained in Arrajol, the meaning contained within the symbol, and how these symbols constructing Joko Widodo’s image as a role model. This study uses qualitative methods with semiotics analysis from Charles Sanders Peirce. The result of this study showed Arrajol magazine consists of two main symbols, the gesture symbol of Joko Widodo who is dressed in a suit with a thin smile on his face, is Joko Widodo’s authority, and followed by the text on the bottom right showing Joko Widodo’s personality. These symbols have different meanings. The development of pesantren, schools and madrasah is a form of culture. They have dynamism in the society development. Pesantren, schools, and madrasah are also a manifestation of the lives of people or groups of people in the educational environment. The development of pesantren, school and madrasah as a unity of the development of educational institutions in Indonesia are interconnected with each other, so the cultural development of the three educational institutions can be seen from the cultural model proposed by van Peursen, covering mythological, ontological and functional phases. PENGEMBANGAN RESPECT EDUCATION MELALUI PENDIDIKAN HUMANIS RELIGIUS DI SEKOLAH
Abstrak:Pembelajaran yang berlandaskan pada mutual respek, baik dari guru kepada siswa, juga siswa kepada guru maupun antara siswa dengan siswa sendiri, akan meningkatkan loyalitas, tanggung jawab, dan solidaritas yang tinggi sehingga menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang humanis, saling menghormati, dan menghargai satu sama lain. Artikel ini membahas secara kritis pengembangan respect education melalui pendidikan humanis religius. Pendidikan humanis religius menekankan sikap respek pada siswa, memahami, dan menghargai siswa apa adanya, mengenal siswa sebagai individu yang perlu diberikan keleluasaan untuk aktualisasi berbagai potensi kemanusiaannya.Abstract:Learning based on mutual respect from teachers to students, students to teachers, and between students and students themselves will increase high loyalty, responsibility and solidarity so as to create a humane learning atmosphere, mutual respect and respect for each other. This article discusses critically the development of respect education through religious and humanistic education. Religious and humanistic education emphasizes the attitude to respect students, understand and appreciate students as they are, recognize students as individuals who need to be given the freedom to actualize their human potentials.
PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH MACANAN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA
Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) religius, nasionalisme, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas di SD Muhammadiyah Macanan Sleman. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, 6 orang guru 6 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan: penguatan pendidikan karakter religius dilakukan terintegrasi dengan beberapa mata pelajaran seperti ismubaris, al-islam, bahasa arab, praktik ibadah, dan kemuhammadiyahan. Penguatan pendidikan karakter nasionalisme melalui kegiatan rutin upacara bendera setiap hari senin, dan ektrakulikuler membatik dan karawitan. Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter mandiri yaitu siswa membuat peraturan kelas (golden class). Penguatan pendidikan karakter gotong royong yaitu siswa saling tolong menolong dalam melakukan setiap kegiatan. Penguatan pendidikan karakter integritas yaitu siswa bertanggung jawab dalam mengerjakan pembelajaran maupun dalam kegiatan di luar kelas.Abstract:This study aimed to describe the Character Education Strengthening (PPK) of religious, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity at Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Macanan, Sleman. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal, 6 teachers, and 6 students. The data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that strengthening religious characters education were integrated with several subjects such as ismubaris, al-islam, Arabic, worship practices, and kemuhammadiyahan (knowledge about Muhammadiyah). Strengthening the nationalism character education was in the form of routine flag ceremony activities, batik extracurricular, and traditional musical event. Threngthening the independent character education was in the form of the students made class rules (golden class). Strengthening education character of mutual cooperation was in the form of the students helped each other in carrying out every activity. Vocational High School Dian Kirana 1 Sragen is Vocational High School which is currently being initiated into independent schools, it makes learning system independently, but the existing of infrastructure is still limited, for example the course subject delivery system as well as the tasks accumulation are still manual. With the existence of this thesis the author tries to help Vocational High School Dian Kirana 1 Sragen to step ahead in terms of IT to create a tool that allows students and teachers do the course subject delivery and tasks accumulation with online method without having to wait to meet the teacher in school and with this E-learning as a medium to deliver the course subject and tasks accumulation can improve the quality of the school.
To realize this goal, E-learning SMK Dian Kirana 1 Sragen is created. The method are data collection, analysis and system design requirements, the application system implementation, testing and Evaluation System Applications (blackbox / whitebox) and the preparation of reports.
It can be concluded that SMK Dian Kirana 1 Sragen E-learning has been successfully created and it can deliver the course subject in the form of PDF files and video (MP4) as well as it can perform tasks delivery.

Evitalisasi Pendidikan Humanis Religius di Sekolah Dasar
Pendidikan merupakan upaya untuk membantu peserta didik agar berkembang menjadi manusia yang potensial secara intelektual melalui proses transfer of knowledge, dan potensial secara spiritual melalui proses transfer of values. Muatan upaya yang dibawa dalam proses pendidikan merupakan proses yang padu dan komprehensif, tidak direduksi menjadi pemenuhan kebutuhan praktis sesaat. Dimensi humanis akan mengarah pada pendidikan yang berakar pada nilai-nilai kemanusian, dimensi religius akan membawa ke pendidikan yang berpihak pada religiusitas manusia. The Role of School Culture in Holistic Education Development in Muhammadiyah Elementary School Sleman Yogyakarta
This research aims to: 1) describing the cultural approach in the development of holistic education in Muhammadiyah Elementary School: 2) finding the role of school’s stakeholders in realizing holistic education in Muhammadiyah Sleman Elementary School. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Sleman Elementary School Yogyakarta. This research was qualitative research of phenomenology by interpretive paradigm. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis was by interactive model, which were data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this research are: 1) school culture becomes an important part in improving education quality. The development of holistic education in Muhammadiyah elementary school using cultural approach. Values, beliefs, and habits are built on the school community’s awareness and will, which is bottom-up in nature. The basis of realizing holistic education in school is the school culture. Positive school culture will make holistic education done well, on the contrary negative school culture will make holistic education difficult to obtained. Therefore schools should build strong school culture in implementing holistic education; 2) school stakeholders who very important in realizing holistic education at Muhammadiyah Sleman Elementary School are principal, guard team of school culture, teachers, families, school committees, community, and guard team of holistic education
