    ABSTRAK   ADI NUGROHO, NIM 2499010096. Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Matematika Materi Bangun Ruang pada Siswa Kelas 5 SDN 2 Tegalrejo. Jurnal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar matematika materi bangun ruang pada siswa kelas 5 di SDN 2 Tegalrejo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada materi bangun ruang pada siswa kelas 5, siswa belum memiliki pengalaman yang konkret dalam memvisualisasikan bentuk-bentuk bangun ruang. Kesulitan ini diperparah dengan metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat seperti menggunakan ceramah dan buku LKS. Kesalahan ini sering terjadi karena siswa tidak memahami rumus yang digunakan dan kurang teliti dalam melakukan perhitungan. Kurangnya latihan soal dan pemahaman konsep dasar matematika juga menjadi faktor penyebab kesulitan ini. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa tidak memahami manfaat mempelajari materi bangun ruang. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam materi bangun ruang karena kurangnya minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yang memengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa antara lain metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat, kurangnya alat peraga dan media pembelajaran, serta peran orang tua yang kurang maksimal.   Kata Kunci : Kesulitan Belajar, Matematika, Bangun Ruan

Group investigation (GI) merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif yang melibatkan dan memfasilitasi kegiatan belajar siswa dalam kelompok kecil yang heterogen guna membahas dan menyelesaikan suatu masalah yang diberikan guru kepada siswa. Model group investigation dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang di  hadapi oleh siswa. Hal ini karena siswa secara langsung mengidentifikasi dan memilih topik, membuat rencana kerja kelompok, melakukan tugas investigasi, menyiapkan laporan, menyajikan laporan hasil penemuan mereka serta melakukan evaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation terhadap kemampuan memmbaca pemahaman dan berpikir kritis siswa SD pada materi  teks wacana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji model Group Investigation terhadaap kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Dengan desain penelitian Non Equivalent Control design.  Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model Group Investigation terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes esai. Data hasil pengukuran dianalisis dengan menggunakan t-test  dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua sekolah yaitu kelas V SDN Krisik 01 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Krisik 03 sebagai kelas kontrol.  Data hasil pretest dan postest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol akan memperoleh data dari Gain Score. Data Gain Score tersebut diperoleh dari hasil nilai pengurangan tes akhir dan tes awal. Nilai kemampuan membaca pemahaman kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata pretest 41,00 sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest yang diperoleh dengn presentase 76,33 dengan nilai gain seore yang dicapai 35,33. Nilai kemampuan membaca pemahaman kelas kontrol memiliki nilai rata-rata pretest 35,17 sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest 70,00 dengan nilai gain score 34,83. Hasil pengujian statistik nilai signifikan 0,000 yang artinya ada pengaruh model Group Investigation (GI) terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Dan nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas ekperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata pretest 57,33 sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest 85,33 dengan gein score 28,00. Sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki nilai  rata-rata pretest 56,03 sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest 76,72 dengan nilai gan score 20,69. Hasil pengujian statistik nilai signifikan 0.008 yang artinya terdapat ada pengaruh model Group Investigation (GI) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pengujian statistik menggunakan uji independent sample t-test untuk melihat pengaruh model Group Investigation terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation  dalam materi teks wacana dapat terlaksana dengan baik. (2) hasil belajar kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa dibelajarkan  dengan model Garoup Investigation lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang dibelajarkan  dengan pemebalajaran konvensional pada meteri teks wacana. Selain itu model pembelajaran Group Investigation mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca  pemahaman siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. (3) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada teks wacana.    

    Reinterpretation of Bambang Sumatri Story in Sujiwo Tejo’s Graphic Novel Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati

    This paper aims to analyze the reinterpret the story of  Bambang Sumantri in Sujiwo Tejo’s graphic novel Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati.  The meaning of heroism in this novel was reexamined through various doubts, unawareness, and wonder of Bambang Sumantri. The data were collected through reading, observing, and taking notes. The data were analyzed with the semiotic method.  The interpretation is done by interpreting changes through looking at the relationship between the signifier and the signified within which the implicit, indirect, and uncertain meanings operate, by interpreting the meanings hiddeng behind the words,  phrases, and sentences that are called connotative meanings (second layer) by semiotics. The reinterpretation on this graphic novel shows that in addition to Bambang Sumantri  depicted as truly heroic, there are many other “hands” who helped him become a figure and hero. The heroism of Bambang Sumantri is not the center of this book. Instead, there are also other figures who made him a hero. Therefore, the author reinterpreted the heroism of Bambang Sumantri from different point of view.This paper aims to analyze the transformation of  Bambang Sumatri in Sujiwo Tejo’s graphic novel Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati.  The goal of the study is to discuss the reinterpretation of Wayang (shadow puppet) story into the graphic novel. The story of Bambang Sumantri is one of the three epic stories in Serat Tripama (three role models) written by KGPAA Mangkunegara IV (1809-1881). Serat Tripama is tembang (song) Dandanggula which consists of seven stanzas telling about Bambang Sumantri, Kumbakarna, and Adipati Karna’s heroism which serves as role model for every warrior. Sujiwo Tejo transformed the three of the stories into graphic novels in which Bambang Sumantri is the central character of the first book entitled Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati which was first published in February 2016. The story of Maespati Kingdom’s duke becomes the first of three books as per the order of the tembang: the first and the second stanzas narrate the heroism of Bambang BS, the third and the forth tell about Kumbakarna, the fifth and the sixth tell about Adipati Karna, while the last serves as the conclusion. The transformation in this graphic novel shows that Bambang BS is not always depicted as truly heroic, but also shows many other “hands” which made him the figure and hero. The heroism of Bambang BS is not the center of this book, instead there are also other figures who made him as hero.     Pengaruh Metode CIRC Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman Berbasis Pendidikan Karakter Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

    This study aims to find out whether there is an effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on the reading comprehension ability based on character education of elementary students in discourse text material. The research subjects consisted of two schools, namely SDN 44 Kota Ternate as the experimental class and SDN 45 Kota Ternate as the control class. Research subjects were determined based on the results of the average pretest and posttest scores. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental research design involving experimental and control groups, with a non-equivalent control group design. Students' character education-based reading comprehension ability was measured using a multiplechoice test. Measurement results data were analyzed using the t-test with the help of the SPSS 16.0 for Windows program. The results of this study indicated that the average percentage value increased so that learning using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on students' reading comprehension skills was higher 76, 33 compared to students who study with conventional learning. Research data analysis techniques were carried out by descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using a t-test with a significance of 0.050 for hypothesis testing. For this reason, based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method can affect the ability to read comprehension based on character education in fifth grade elementary school students.

    Revolutionary struggle in order to compete for the independence of Indonesia has been a source of inspiration Indonesian artists, including Bambang Soelarto who wrote drama Domba-domba Re- volusi (DDR). DDR studied drama is quite interesting because it tries to criticize the freedom fight- ers. This study aims to: first to know the theme and the problem plays DDR; second to determine the relationship of the socio - historical struggle in 1948 with the sociological elements of drama DDR themes and issues. This study uses sociological theory of art. The basic principles of the sociology of art is the fact that the creation of works of art influenced by the historical social conditions where the work was created. Research using content analysis of Krippendorf, the methods used to examine the symbolic phenomena with the aim to explore and express the observed phenomenon which is the content, meaning, and an essential element of the literary work. Based results of this research is that Bambang Soelarto as the author tries to capture di?erence between fighters during the struggle for the political aspirations for 1948 are expressed in a work of drama. Historical events inspired the creation of drama DDR. Soelarto want to respond to the political aspirations of the di?erence between historical figures and wanted to provide an assessment and outlook through DDR

    The President’s Expression: Analyzing the Psychological Aspects of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s Lyrics

    Word and text analysis has become an alternative method to examine social and psychological problems when other common methods could not access the internal workings of a participant’s psyche. This study shows that text analysis, as an alternative method, is capable to identify important psychological aspects contained in the song lyrics written by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) with regard to his strategic role as a country and political leader. Three main aspects are identified: emotion, achievement, and harmony. The lyrics of 23 Indonesian songs written by SBY have been gathered for the purpose of analysis. Three studies were carried out to analyze the psychological aspects contained in SBY’s song lyrics. Firstly, the author applied algoritma kata (AK – word algorithm) to identify the degrees of valence and arousal in each song using the word count method. Secondly, the author applied analisis lirik keseluruhan (ALK – the whole lyric analysis) to assess the valence and arousal in every song by means of human judgment. Third, the author applied expert judgment (EJ) to analyze the dominant words that emerge in all song lyrics. This study shows that SBY’s song albums have consistently shown a positive valence and an increasing level of arousal from 2006 to 2014. In addition to that, EJ method shows that those dominant words represent SBY’s two most prominent psychological aspects: achievement and harmony

    ABSTRAK: Era Orde Baru di Indonesia ditandai dengan berbagai kebijakan politik, ekonomi, dan sosial yang memengaruhi struktur masyarakat, termasuk masyarakat Jawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sastra dalam mencerminkan kondisi sosial masyarakat Jawa pada masa Orde Baru melalui naskah drama "Gapit" karya Bambang Widoyo S.P. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra dari Ian Watt yang mengedepankan konteks sosial pengarang, sastra sebagai cermin masyarakat, dan fungsi sosial sastra. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka dan analisis isi. Data primer diperoleh dari naskah drama "Gapit" yang terdiri dari empat naskah, sedangkan data sekunder meliputi buku dan artikel terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karya “Gapit” berhasil menggambarkan kondisi sosial masyarakat Jawa pada masa orde baru yang tercermin dari kondisi sosial pengarang, kondisi sosial masyarakat yang ditinjau dari jenis masyarakat, aspek bahasa, dan genre sastra yang digunakan serta fungsi sosial sastra. Melalui dialog dan karakter dalam naskah, Bambang Widoyo menyuarakan kritik sosial dan mengadvokasi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sastra tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai alat pendidikan dan advokasi yang efektif dalam memengaruhi persepsi dan tindakan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan pendekatan interdisipliner dan penggunaan teknologi modern untuk memperkaya pemahaman tentang hubungan kompleks antara sastra dan masyarakat. KATA KUNCI: Sosiologi Sastra; Orde Baru; Identitas Budaya; Kritik Sosial.     SOCIAL PORTRAIT OF JAVA SOCIETY IN THE NEW ORDER ERA IN THE DRAMA SCRIPT "GAPIT" BY BAMBANG WIDOYO ABSTRACT: The New Order era in Indonesia was marked by various political, economic, and social policies that influenced the structure of society, including Javanese society. This study aims to analyze the role of literature in reflecting the social conditions of Javanese society during the New Order through the drama script "Gapit" by Bambang Widoyo S.P. This research uses a sociological approach to literature by Ian Watt which emphasizes the social context of the author, literature as a mirror of society, and the social function of literature. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection through literature studies and content analysis. Primary data were obtained from the drama script "Gapit" consisting of four scripts, while secondary data include related books and articles. The results showed that the literary work “Gapit” succeeded in describing the social conditions of Javanese society during the new order period reflected in the author's social conditions, the social conditions of society in terms of the type of society, language aspects, and literary genres used as well as the social function of literature. Through the dialogue and characters in the script, Bambang Widoyo voices social criticism and advocates for human values. This study concludes that literature not only functions as entertainment, but also as an effective educational and advocacy tool in influencing people's perceptions and actions. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct further research with an interdisciplinary approach and the use of modern technology to enrich understanding of the complex relationship between literature and society.     This research discuss about the rhetoric performed by Barack Hussein Obama as President of the United States and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as President of the Republic of Indonesia in delivering feedback over the ISIS issue that circulating around the world. ISIS is an organization who commit acts of terrorism in the name of Islam. The United States is known as ‘anti-Islam' country's, while Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world. Therefore, author used Roland Barthes semiotic to reveal differences in this two figures seen from their rhetoric of verbal and non-verbal language. Thus, we can reveal how this two figures performed their rhetoric over the ISIS issue that conveyed to the International community

    PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI BEBAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BERPIKIR INISIATIF DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR

    The purpose of this study was to: (1) describe the application of the free inquiry learning model in improving students' initiative thinking. (2) Describing the application of the free Iinquiry learning model in improving student learning achievement and (3) Describing the effectiveness of free inquiry learning to improve student mathematics learning achievement in class X Automotive Engineering at SMKN 4 Bengkulu City. In this study, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was used and continued with experimental research. The subjects of this study were X grade students of the Automotive Engineering Skills Competency at SMKN 4 Bengkulu City. The data collection techniques used in the study were the observation sheet and the student test method. The data analysis used values ​​were (1) analysis of the ability to think initiative, (2) analysis of the pre-test and post-test, (3) analysis of the t test of student learning achievement. The material validation instrument and students' initiative thinking in the study used was the likert scale model. The conclusions of this research are; (1) The application of free inquiry learning can improve students' initiative thinking in Mathematics. (2) The application of the free inquiry learning model can improve student achievement in Mathematics at SMKN 4 Kota Bengkulu for the 2020/2021 academic year and (3) The application of the free inquiry learning model is effective in increasing student learning achievement compared to conventional learning model
