    MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROYEK BERBASIS BUDAYA MARITIM DALAM MENINGKATKAN SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGA LAUT ANAK USIA DINI DI PROVINSI MALUKU UTARA Farida Samad Program Studi S3 Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini ABSTRAK Permasalahan lingkungan laut yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas manusia merupakan isu penting di dunia dan menjadi agenda utama Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan sikap peduli lingkungan laut anak usia dini melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran proyek berbasis budaya maritim. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R and D) dengan menggabungkan dua model pengembangan, yaitu model Borg and Gall yang dikombinasi dengan model Rowntree. Populasi penelitian adalah 207 lembaga PAUD yang tersebar di Kota Ternate dan Tidore Kepulauan. Pada uji efektivitas model, sampel penelitian adalah 139 orang anak yang terbagi menjadi 18 orang anak pada uji coba terbatas, 79 orang anak pada uji coba skala besar dan 42 anak pada uji lapangan operasional. Instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar kuesioner, lembar penilaian sikap peduli lingkungan laut anak usia 5- 6 tahun dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik kuantitatif dan deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) sikap peduli lingkungan laut anak usia dini di Maluku Utara belum terbangun dengan optimal karena kurangnya pendidikan yang relevan dan pengalaman praktis. Guru PAUD perlu memahami pentingnya pendidikan lingkungan, integrasi budaya lokal dan metode pengajaran yang interaktif untuk mendukung pengembangan sikap peduli lingkungan laut. 2) Rancangan model pembelajaran proyek mengintegrasikan pendekatan berbasis budaya maritim. Dalam pengembangan model menggunakan kerangka dari Borg&Gall dan Rowntree yang direkonstruksi dalam model konseptual, model prosedural dan model fisikal. 3) Kelayakan model pembelajaran dilakukan oleh ahli menunjukkan bahwa model ProdaMar layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran memahami budaya maritim dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan laut. Dan 4) penggunaan model pembelajaran proyek berbasis budaya maritim (ProdaMar) efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan laut. Model pembelajaran ProdaMar mampu menciptakan suasana pedagogis yang positif, interaktif, relevan dan mendukung perkembangan holistik anak usia dini serta membantu guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi anak usia dini di PAUD di wilayah pesisir untuk menjaga kebersihan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan laut. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran proyek, budaya maritim, sikap peduli, lingkungan laut ************ MARITIME CULTURE-BASED PROJECT LEARNING MODEL IN IMPROVING MARINE ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN OF EARLY CHILDHOOD IN NORTH MALUKU PROVINCE Farida Samad The Doctoral Study Program in Early Childhood Education ABSTRACT Marine environmental problems caused by human activities are important issues in the world and are the main agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research objective is to develop marine environment concern in early childhood through a maritime culture-based project learning model. This research method uses Research and Development (R and D) by combining two development models: the Borg and Gall combined with the Rowntree model in the product development section or project-based learning programs. The population in this study was 207 PAUD institutions spread across Ternate City and Tidore Islands. In the effectiveness test of the model, the research sample was 139 children divided into 18 children in a limited trial, 79 children in a large-scale trial, and 42 children in an operational field test and teachers as users of teaching materials. The instruments used questionnaire sheets, assessment sheets for the attitude of caring for the marine environment of children aged 5-6 years, and observation sheets. The research data were analyzed using quantitative techniques and qualitative descriptions. The results showed that 1) the marine environmental concern of children in North Maluku has not been optimally developed due to the lack of relevant education and practical experience. Early childhood teachers need to understand the importance of environmental education, integration of local culture and interactive teaching methods to support the development of marine environmental awareness. 2) The design of the project learning model integrates a maritime culture-based approach. In developing the model, Borg&Gall and Rowntree's framework is reconstructed into a conceptual model, procedural model and physical model. 3) The feasibility of the learning model conducted by experts shows that the project learning model (ProdaMar) model is feasible and practical to use in learning to understand maritime culture and concern for the marine environment. And 4) the use of maritime culture-based project learning model (ProdaMar) is effective in improving the concern for the marine environment. The ProdaMar learning model is able to create a pedagogical atmosphere positively, interactively, relevant and support the holistic development of early childhood and assist teachers in creating a fun and meaningful learning environment for early childhood in PAUD in coastal areas to maintain the cleanliness and sustainability of the marine environment.     “A Poetics of Disruption”: Farida Karodia’s A Shattering of Silence and the Exiled Writer’s Dihiliz Position

    Bearing in mind Edwidge Danticat’s ideas about writing being a dangerous affair, this paper reflects on authorial matters regarding Farida Karodia’s A Shattering of Silence (1993). Like other novels set in times of conflict, A Shattering of Silence can be seen to deploy what the researcher chooses to call a “poetics of disruption”. This is a poetics heavily at the service of politics, intended to disrupt and destabilise the blunt binaries lying at the heart of any armed conflict. In this sense, the main character in the story, Faith, embodies a poetics of disruption in so much as she problematises the binary dimension of the political situation in the Mozambique of the period, being a white woman who sympathises with the anti-colonial struggle. This article claims that, reproducing the dynamics of the poetics of disruption in a process which can be said to replicate that of her character, Farida Karodia herself makes the most of her strategic location in a liminal terrain across nations. Her position as an exilic author can be defined as dihiliz, that is, as a threshold vantage point which enables her to be both inside and outside the situation she reflects about. Karodia’s liminality is here more pointed than is usually the case with the exilic writer, since she chooses to write about Mozambique, in many senses close to her country of origin yet not her birth-place

    ABSTRAK FARIDA. Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Siklus Belajar melalui Pendekatan Inkuiri Terstruktur untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas dan Hasil Belajar Fisika pada SMA Islam Athirah Makassar (dibimbing oleh Muhammad Sidin Ali dan Abdul Samad). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Islam Athirah Makassar selama kegiatan pembelajaran fisika yang mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran siklus belajar melalui pendekatan inkuri terstruktur, (2) peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Islam Athirah Makassar selama kegiatan pembelajaran fisika yang mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran siklus belajar melalui pendekatan inkuri terstruktur, (3) peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Islam Athirah Makassar yang mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran siklus belajar melalui pendekatan inkuiri terstruktur Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari: (1) perencanaan tindakan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Keberhasilan dan kegagalan pada siklus I diidentifikasi, berdasar kekurangan tersebut peneliti melakukan perbaikan-perbaikan pembelajaran pada siklus II. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Islam Athirah Makassar kelas XI IPA 2 semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman observasi aktivitas peserta didik pada setiap tahapan pembelajaran, tes kreativitas, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada setiap tahapan pembelajaran, serta tes kreativitas, dan tes hasil belajar fisika pada setiap akhir siklus pembelajaran. Data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas peserta didik, kretivitas peserta didik, dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan implementasi model pembelajaran siklus belajar melalui pendekatan inkuri terstruktur dapat meningkatkan aktivitas, kreativitas dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Islam Athirah Makassar yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar 100 % sesuai standar KKM 75 dan rata – rata kelas 82,58. Implementation of Learning Cycle Model through Structured Inquiry Approach to Improve Creativity and Learning Achievement of Physics Subject at Islamic Senior High School of Athirah Makassar (supervised by Sidin Ali and Abdul Samad) This study aimed at improving (1) students’ activities of grade XI IPA 2 at Islamic Senior High School (SMA Islam) Athirah Makassar during the teaching and learning process of Physics subject which implemented cycle learning model through structured inquiry approach, (2) students’ creativity of grade XI IPA 2 at SMA Islam Athirah Makassar during the teaching and learning process of Physics subject which implemented cycle learning model through structured inquiry approach, (3) students’ learning achievement of Physics subject of grade XI IPA 2 at SMA Islam Athirah Makassar during the teaching and learning process of Physics subject which implemented cycle learning model through structured inquiry approach. This study was a classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each of cycle consisted of (1) lesson planning, (2) the implementation of the plan, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The successfulness and the failure in cycle I were identified. Based on the shortcomings, the researcher conducted the remedies in cycle II. This study was conducted at SMA Islam Athirah Makassar of grade XI IPA 2 on the first semester of academic year 2011/2012. The instruments of the study were in forms of observation guidance on students’ activities in each of learning stage, creativity test, and learning achievement test. Techniques used in collecting the data were by observation of students’ learning activities in each of learning stage, creativity test , and learning achievement test of Physics subject at the end of each of learning cycle. The data then were analyzed by employing descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to describe students’ activities, students’ creativity, and students’ learning achievement of Physics subject. The conclusion based on the study was the implementation of learning cycle model through structured inquiry approach can improve students’ activities, creativity, and learning achievement of Physics subject of grade XI IPA2 SMA Islam Athirah Makassar which achieved learning mastery by 100 % according to the KKM standard and the average of class was 82, 58. Researh on “The Function Analysis of Auxilary Verb-teiru in Yomikikase o Hanashi Ehon 3” aimed to describe the structure and meaning of auxilary verb –teiru in the book of Yomikikase o Hanashi Ehon 3. The author used reviewing method (metode simak) to obtain data, followed by notetaking method (metode catat) to write and classify the data. Then, all the data were analysed using agih method. The result of the data analysis showed that, in term of structure, auxilary verb-teiru is attached to activity verb, punctual verb and type 4 verb. Whereas in term of meaning, 15 auxilary verb-teiru indicate continuity of activity, 15 auxilary verb- teiru show result of an activity and situation, and 4 auxilary verb-teiru act as a habit,2 auxalary verb-teiru certain circumstances that cannot changes, 2 auxalary verb-teiru life experience . Thus, the data explains three aspect of auxilary verb-teiru namely progressive, resultative, situative aspect and habituative aspects.     Analysis of Preschool Teacher’s Understanding of Marine Content for Children in North Maluku

    This research aims to explore the understanding of preschool teachers in marine content for children in the coastal area of North Maluku. The study focuses on how preschool teachers introduce marine content in children’s play activities. This quantitative descriptive research was conducted in North Maluku with 175 teachers as respondents using a random sampling technique. Data were obtained using a questionnaire. The data revealed that the average understanding of preschool teachers in North Maluku in introducing marine content in children’s play activities is 68%, so it can be categorized at a partial level. It means that not all components of marine content can be introduced to children properly

    Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the poetics of textual thresholds in the poetry of Ahcene El-Kharrat (1989-2019), to query their various dimensions, connotations and artistic features, based on the assumption that contemporary poetic text is no longer just a set of poems nicely written and collected in a book, but rather a mosaic of written texts, para (meta) texts, and thresholds related to their hypertext. The thresholds’ role is vital. Its importance cannot be ignored while formulating the general poetic context of the poem. The latter cannot reach completeness without its textual thresholds that opens up new poetic and artistic perspectives. We will shed light, in this analytical and intertextual research, on the thresholds of the poems in the collections of the Algerian poet Ahcene El-Kharrat entitled: Nabdh-al-faji’a (Pulse of Bereavement), Basar Al-Turab (Sight of the earth) and Shatah Al-darawishes (the Dervishes’ imagination). The author chooses this title because both of the car advertisement either Indonesia or Japan version are equally a product of Toyota, but have different way in delivery. The writer wants to know the message contained in the advertisement of Japan and Indonesia versions. The methods that used in this thesis are descriptive and contrastive. First, the writer collected the data from youtube to listen the advertisement conversation and then record the text. The writer uses contrastive analysis to analyze Indonesia and Japan advertisement. After that the writer comes into the presentation of results. The grammatical elements contained in Japan and Indonesia advertisement are the same which both of them have the reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction. Both of the advertisement have different message, the message of Japan advertisement is the Japanese people should drive a car again of course using Toyota product.     This research was conducted in order to make a better condition of teaching and learning of religion subject through the implementation of BCCT method. This research applied descriptive qualitative design. The subject of this research was 15 students of B1 and B2 at TK Khalifah Ternate academic year 2015/2016 and also their teacher. The data were gathered from observation sheet, field notes, and interview. The data are analyzed descriptively. From this research, it showed that BCCT method implemented in the early childhood learning in TK Khalifah Ternate runs effectively. Before learning activity held, teacher welcomes students by asking their parents not to participate on student's learning activity. There are four scaffoldings of BCCT process held, those are the playing environment, scaffolding before playing (circle time), when playing, and after playing (recalling). (3) BCCT evaluation of the the early childhood learning is evaluated well. The evaluation is performed every day for each student.
