    Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Matematika Berbasis Buku Fabel Berkarakter untuk Siswa SMP

    This research is a development research that aims to develop and assess the quality of mathematical teaching materials based on fable books character in a rectangular material that is valid, meets classical completeness, and good student response The type of research used is Research & Development (R & D) research with reference to the Borg & Gall model. The experimental subjects in this study were seventh grade students of MTs Al-huda, Mubung Village, Hulu Gurung Subdistrict, Kapuas Hulu District with a total of 17 students. Based on the results of a limited trial conducted, it was found that (1) the results of character fable book validation obtained the average score of 85,42% with a very valid category so there was no need to revise and experts stated that the developed fable character was feasible to be used and can be tested in the field, (2) the results of testing the use of products through student learning outcomes tests obtained classical completeness were 76,47% so as to achieve classical completeness where the completeness of classical completeness set at MTs Al-huda Mubung Village is 70%, and (3) student responses to Mathematical teaching materials based on fable books with character with an average score of 87,54% with a very good categoryThis research is a development research that aims to develop and assess the quality of mathematical teaching materials based on fable books character in a rectangular material that is valid, meets classical completeness, and good student response The type of research used is Research & Development (R & D) research with reference to the Borg & Gall model.     Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modul praktikum logika matematika berbasis Phet simulation terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester I kelas B IKIP PGRI Pontianak dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan penalaran matematis pada mata kuliah logika matematika dan himpunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa sesudah menggunakan modul praktikum logika matematika berbasis phet simulation.     This research to classify the most comparison and described the results of the study grade VII B students SMP Koperasi Pontianak the academic year 2017/2018, based on cognitive Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy.  Research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were students of class VII B with high and low ability levels. The instruments in this research were daily test questions and student answer sheets on the subject of comparison and interview guidelines. Based on the results of research, obtained the percentage classifications about 20% for understand (C2) and 80% for apply (C3). Students\u27 mathematics learning outcomes based on cognitive domains Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy is that students are better able to solve problems with an understanding indicator of 60% than the problem with the indicator applying at 19.2%. Students with high ability to achieve indicators understand and apply while students with low abilities do not reach both indicators.     Analysis of Mathematical Representation Ability According to Cognitive style

    The aim of this research is to analyze students' mathematical representation abilities in terms of cognitive style in the multivariable calculus course taught in semester 4 of the IKIP PGRI Pontianak Mathematics Education Study Program. This research is a qualitative descriptive research in the form of case study research. Research subjects were selected based on their cognitive style which was measured using the geft instrument. Selected subjects were then asked to work on mathematical representation ability questions and then interviewed according to these questions. Based on the research results, it was found that students who had a field dependent cognitive style in symbolic representation were able to link symbols with mathematical concepts, in graphical representation they were able to create images in the form of requested graphs, while in verbal representation they were less able to convey ideas effectively orally. or written.     ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa Google Sites berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam materi statistika pada siswa SMP kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implemtation, dan Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas ahli (validator) dan 27 siswa kelas VIII B SMP Abdi Agape Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan teknik pengukuran. Teknik komunikasi tidak langsung berupa instrumen validasi isi ahli materi dan ahli media serta angket respon guru dan siswa, untuk teknik pengukuran berupa tes. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media diperoleh rata-rata persentase kevalidan sebesar 90,8% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil perhitungan angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa diperoleh rata-rata persentase kepraktisan sebesar 91,25% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil perhitungan posttest diperoleh persentase keefektifan sebesar 81,48% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran Google Sites berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dinyatakan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran matematika pada materi Statistika

    Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah diimplementasikan pembelajaran menggunakan media pocketbook  berbasis discovery learning; (2) tingkat kefektifan media pocketbook berbasis discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan pre-eksperimental designs dengan rancangan one-shot case study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Hidayatul Muhsinin Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes untuk data kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dan tingkat keefektifan media pocket book. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah diimplementasikan pembelajaran menggunakan media pocketbook  berbasis discovery learning tuntas secara klasikal; (2) Pengembangan media pocket book berbasis discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada materi aritmetika sosial kelas VII MTs Hidayatul Musinin Kabupaten Kubu Raya mencapai tingkat keefektifan dengan kriteria sangat efektif

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
