No full textThis research is conducted in order to study and analyze the relationship between stops in reading in the Qur‟ān and signs in semantic knowledge. In this study, the author reveals the chronology of the publishing of the Qur‟ān by looking at the origin of it‟s writing through history. In this study, the author reviews places to stop reading the Qur‟ān by looking at it‟s use based in the views of the scholars, particularly in the field of Arabic, tajwid, history and others. Therefore the author uses the method of library research in this study, by extracting sentences containing stop signs of reading, in the Qur‟ān to be studied and analyzed. From the result of this study, the author found that there were 43 sentences that contained stop-signs from the Qur‟ān, out of 110 sentences in surah al-Kahf. The author also found that there were four stop-signs being used in reading the Qur‟ān. The overall result of the study, found that stop-signs used in reading the Qur‟ān had little to do with punctuation in common writing. It is seen that more attention was given to the continuation of the story without damaging the meaning in the sentence. Research like this is very important to be brought forward to the community so that they can understand the meaning of the Qur‟ān, exactly based on correct reading

The problem in this novel research is the lack of tolerance and caring of the people, especially the metropolitan residents of street children, making the evil parties and irresponsible to exploit them, and cause them to experience a tragic fate. The problem is to be solve, the writer use social methods with the theory of moral and structural values. Based on the main problem, the writer is interested to study the story from social aspect by using structural theory and moral value theory based on the theory of Frans Magnis Suseno.
The writer uses structural theory to describe the novel builder, such as: character and characterization, plot, and background. The writer also uses moral values based on the theory of Frans Magnis Suseno, to explain the moral value through the behavior of the characters. This study aims to reveal the moral aspects that arise from each character in order to be able to know the moral message the author wishes to convey to the reader, and to describe the structural theory associated with the analysis of intrinsic elements as a picture and learning life in society.
The results of the analysis based on structural theory of the novel Small Letter to God The Story of Life consists of two main characters namely Anton and Angel and seven additional characters, so the number of characters in the novel there are Nine figures. The flow used in this research is the flow of progress and flashback, but the most dominant used is the progressive groove. The background used in this study is the place, time, and social background. The most dominant place setting out in the story is on the flyover precisely in Jakarta. The timeline contained in this novel is not detailed in detail, it only explains the morning, afternoon, evening and night only, while the social setting in this novel describes the life of an orphaned sister who has to live the life in the city of Jakarta.

Implementasi Metode PCA – K Nearest Neighbour untuk Deteksi Golongan Kendaraan Berdasarkan Jumlah Pasang Gandar
No full textDetection of vehicle type based axle allow to do classify vehicle based on the load that will carried by the vehicle. However at this time, classification of heavy vehicle types based on axles is still carried out by humans. In here research, author use image processing for classification of vehicles class with PCA-K Nearest Neighbour Method. The reason for choosing this algorithm is because previous research use K-Means Clustering have a same formula with K-Nearest Neighbour. The data used is the image captured from the video camera processed by background subtraction method to separate moving object namely vehicle with its background. PCA method is required to obtain eigen vektor from vehicle and reduce its dimensions. Meanwhile, for classification author tries to use classification algorithm of K-Nearest Neighbour. To detect vehicle axles author use Circular Hough Transform method. The Testing Result shows detect vehicle type use PCA-K Nearest Neighbour method with value of K=1 has an accuracy 90%.Deteksi golongan kendaraan berdasarkan gandar memungkinkan untuk melakukan klasifikasi kendaraan berdasarkan beban yang akan di bawa oleh kendaraan tersebut. Namun pada saat ini, klasifikasi jenis kendaraan berat berdasarkan gandar masih dilakukan oleh manusia. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pengolahan citra untuk klasifikasi golongan kendaraan dengan metode PCA-K Nearest Neighbour. Alasan pemilihan algoritma ini adalah karena penelitian sebelumnya menggunakan algoritma K-means Clustering memiliki rumus yang sama dengan K-Nearest Neighbour. Data yang digunakan adalah citra yang ditangkap dari kamera video diproses dengan metode background subtraction untuk memisahkan objek yang bergerak yaitu kendaraan dengan backgroundnya. Metode PCA diperlukan untuk mendapatkan vektor eigen dari kendaraan dan mereduksi dimensinya, sedangkan untuk klasifikasi penulis mencoba menggunakan algoritma klasifikasi K Nearest Neighbours. Untuk deteksi gandar kendaraan penulis menggunakan metode Circular Hough Transform. Tafsir Hikayati as A Resistance Hermeneutics: Hikayat Prang Sabi’s Contribution to Holy War Literature and Quranic Studies
No full textThis article will elaborate on the model of interpreting the Quran in Hikayat Prang Sabi. Guided by the text by Teungku Chiek Pante Kulu, the author analyses the data by Hans Georg Gadamer’s ideas about “Preunderstanding”, “Fusion of Horizons”, and “Historical Consciousness”. This research shows that Hikayat Prang Sabi has introduced a unique model of interpreting the Quran by adopting hikayat instruments in Acehnese culture. The author identifies this interpretation model in this research with Tafsir Hikayati. Tafsir Hikayati has contributed to constructing the Acehnese’s resistance to Dutch colonialism by bringing together two very influential spirits in Acehnese society: religion and culture. Through Tafsir Hikayati, Teungku Chiek Pante Kulu constructs a “Resistance Hermeneutics” by interpreting Islamic religious texts (the Quran) using the Acehnese cultural language (hikayat). Combining these two spirits has helped the Acehnese people accept and capture the message of resistance conveyed by Hikayat Prang Sabi so that it succeeded in awakening the spirit of ideological struggle against Dutch colonialism.[Artikel ini mengelaborasi model penafsiran Al-Quran dalam Hikayat Prang Sabi. Dengan berpedoman pada teks karya Teungku Chiek Pante Kulu, penulis menginterpretasi data dengan meminjam gagasan Hans Georg Gadamer tentang “Pra-Pemahaman”, “Perpaduan Horizon (cakrawala)”, dan “Kesadaran (keterpengaruhan) sejarah”. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Hikayat Prang Sabi telah memperkenalkan model penafsiran Al-Quran yang khas dengan mengadopsi intrumen hikayat dalam kebudayaan Aceh. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengidentifikasi model penafsiran tersebut dengan istilah Tafsir Hikayati. Tafsir Hikayati telah berkontribusi dalam mengkontruksi perlawanan orang Aceh terhadap kolonialisme Belanda dengan mempertemukan dua spirit yang sangat berpengaruh dalam masyarakat Aceh: agama dan budaya. Melalui Tafsir Hikayati, Teungku Chiek Pante Kulu mengonstruksi tafsir perlawanan (resistance hermeneutics) dengan melakukan interpretasi teks keagamaan Islam (Al-Quran) menggunakan bahasa kebudayaan (hikayat) yang berkembang di Aceh. Perpaduan dua spirit tersebut telah membantu orang Aceh dalam menerima dan menangkap pesan perlawanan yang disampaikan oleh Hikayat Prang Sabi sehingga berhasil membangkitkan semangat perjuangan ideologis dalam melawan penjajahan Belanda.
Metrication in highway design and operations
No full textThe complex problem of metrication of highway design, construction and maintenance has been the subject of a number of studies and pilot projects carried out by the Federal Highway Administration (F.H.W.A.) of the United States and the Roads and Transportation Association of Canada. Through a research grant, the FHWA of the U.S.A. assigned the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Oregon Highway Division to design, construct, and maintain these metric projects. The author has reviewed the experience and conclusions of these studies and the problems encountered in the pilot projects relative to the design, survey, contracting, construction, signing, and public reactions to the metrication process. In the conclusions to this review, the author questions some of the recommendations of these studies, specifically in the area of curvature and station definition, notation convention, and the concept of dual signing. In these and other areas recommended guidelines for highway metrication are proposed.
Finally, the author presents a set of equations and computer generated tables for highway design and layout in metric incorporating the flexibility of 10, 20, 40, and 100 metre station and curvature definition

Penerapan Deteksi Gerak Pada Kamera Pengawas Menggunakan Algoritma Sobel

Sistem pengawasan keamanan menggunakan kamera CCTV (close circuit television) merupakan teknologi penting untuk mendukung sistem keamanan dan pengawasan suatu tempat dari jarak jauh. Kamera CCTV banyak digunakan dalam industri pertokoan, apartemen dan kantor. Kamera CCTV sangat berperan penting sebagai bukti atas tindak kejahatan. Namun penggunaan kamera CCTV tidak efektif dan efisien jika ditempatkan di ruangan kosong tanpa aktivitas dan pergerakan apapun. Hal ini akan menyebabkan pemborosan memori di tempat penyimpanan data. Maka dari itu, berkembang suatu ilmu dalam bidang keamanan, yaitu deteksi gerak.
Penulis menggunakan IP camera sebagai kamera CCTV. Pada IP camera akan diimplemetasikan sistem deteksi gerak, sehingga dengan motion detection dapat mendeteksi setiap pergerakan yang ditangkap oleh IP camera. Pergerakan tersebut dijadikan acuan untuk memulai dan mengakhiri proses perekaman. Jika kamera CCTV tidak mendeteksi gerakan maka kamera hanya memantau tanpa melakukan perekaman. Hasil rekaman dari IP camera akan disimpan dan dikirim ke cloud agar pengguna bisa melihatnya dimanapun dia berada. Pada tugas akhir ini, penulis menggunakan algoritma Sobel sebagai metode deteksi gerak. Frame yang dihasilkan oleh algoritma Sobel akan dibandingkan dengan frame sebelumnya. Jika ada piksel yang berbeda antara kedua frame tersebut, maka akan disebut gerak oleh sistem. Langkah-langkah yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi gerak, yaitu pre-processing, operator Sobel, frame difference, dan morfologi gambar.
Hasil implementasi deteksi gerak pada IP camera pada tugas akhir ini telah berhasil mendeteksi gerak. Masukan video dari IP camera dan hasil deteksi gerak juga telah berhasil disimpan dan dikirim ke cloud. Hasil pengujian dari sistem deteksi gerak ini menghasilkan akurasi dengan rata-rata sebesar 83.5%, TPR sebesar 0.75, FPR sebesar 0.02, F1 score sebesar 0.83.

ABSTRACT
Security surveillance system using a camera CCTV (Close Circuit Television) is an important technology to support the security and surveillance system somewhere remotely. CCTV cameras are widely used in industrial shops, apartments, and offices. CCTV cameras are very prominent as evidence over the crime. However the use of CCTV cameras does not effectively and efficiently if placed in an empty room without any movement and activity. This will cause the waste of memory in the data storage. Thus, developing a science in the field of security, I.e the detection of motion.
The author uses IP camera as a CCTV camera. On the IP camera motion detection system will be implemented, so it is with motion detection can detect every movement who was captured by the IP camera. The mocve was made reference to start and end the recording process. If IP camera don’t detect movement then the cameras only monitor without doing the recording. A recording of the IP camera will be saved and sent to the cloud so that users can view it wherever he’s been. In this final task, the author uses the Sobel algorithm as a method of motio detection. Frames generated by Sobel algorithm will be compared to the previous frame. If there are any pixels that differ between the two frames, then the motion will be called y the system. The steps that are used to detect motion, I.e pre-processing, Sobel operator, frame difference, morphology of the image.
The results of the implementation of motion detection on IP camera on this final project has managed to detect motion. Video input from the IP camera and motion detection results have also been successfully saved and sent to the cloud. The test results of this motion detection system produces the accuracy of 83.5%, the TPR of 0.75, FPR amounted to 0.02, the F1 score of 0.83.
