This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing religious values through the semi-pesantren madrasah culture at MA Al Islamiyah as a response to the phenomenon of moral decadence among the younger generation in the era of globalization and digitalization. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with primary data sources in the form of the head of the madrasah, Islamic Education teachers, and students, as well as secondary data in the form of program documents and madrasah rules and regulations. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with triangulation validity testing of sources and methods. The results show that the semi-pesantren madrasah culture at MA Al Islamiyah is implemented through structured religious programs such as congregational prayers, tahfidz, muhadharah, and the BENYAMIN S (Clean, Comfortable, Beautiful, and Polite) program, which is oriented towards the formation of social ethics. The internalization process takes place through habituation, teacher role modeling, and persuasive guidance so that religious values are not only understood cognitively but also internalized and practiced in daily life. The impact is seen in increased religious discipline, respect for teachers, and students' social responsibility. This study confirms that the semi-pesantren madrasah culture functions as an effective hidden curriculum in building religious character and akhlakul karimah (good character) and serves as a preventive strategy against moral crises in the digital age

Contemporary Islamic Studies faces a methodhological crisis rooted in the epistemological dichotomy between the religious sciences and the general sciences. This crisis has resulted in a troubled relationship, hindering the relevance of Islamic scholarship in responding to contemporary challenges. This article aims to explore methodological renewal through pluridisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches as a coherent epistemological solution. This study employs a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The analysis focuses on the key works of M. Amin Abdullah, Mulyadhi Kartanegara, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Ziauddin Sardar, Ian G. Barbour, Jasser Auda, and Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir. The findings indicate that effective renewal is not merely an addition of disciplines but a complete, four-layered epistemological reconstruction. First, the adoption of the "Three Keys" (Semipermeable, Intersubjective Testability, Creative Imagination) as a philosophical prerequisite for dialogue. Second, a structural paradigm shift from the hierarchical "Tree of Knowledge" model to the interconnective "Spider-Web of Knowledge". Third, a methodological evolution in fiqh through the Maqashid al-Syari’ah paradigm, shifting from "protection" (hifz) to "development" (tanmiyah). Fourth, methodological innovation in tafsir through contextual-progressive approaches such as semantics and qira’ah mubadalah. This renewal offers a vital integrative-interconnective framework for the relevance of Islamic Higher Education Institutions (IHEI) in the contemporary era

The behavior of using other people's belongings without permission among Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Kendari mahasantri is an important concern in maintaining social ethics and morality. This study aims to understand the factors that influence this behavior, with a focus on the reception of QS. Al-Baqarah verse 188 and QS. An-Nisā verse 29. The research method used is qualitative through field studies, which involve observation and interviews with mahasantri. The results show that 33.33% of mahasantri engage in this behavior, with patterns of action such as using items and then returning them, or even not returning them at all. The contributing factors include lack of awareness, urgent circumstances, and bad habits. Although the majority of mahasantri understand that this action is prohibited by these verses, a small number believe that it can be justified in certain situations. The impact includes positive changes in social interactions, with increased awareness of the importance of respecting the property rights of others and collective efforts to prevent violations. This study emphasizes the need for further education on the ethics of using items and the more effective application of the teachings of the Qur'an in daily life. Thus, a deeper understanding of this prohibition can contribute to the formation of a better character of respecting the property rights of others among mahasantri

Membaca Ulang Etika Dakwah di Era Digital: Integrasi AI, Literasi Media, dan Argumentasi Keagamaan

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped the landscape of Islamic preaching, presenting complex ethical challenges amid the dominance of algorithms and artificial intelligence. This study employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review of 52 journal articles and 8 academic books published between 2015 and 2024. Thematic analysis identifies four critical dimensions: (1) the use of AI in automating religious content; (2) the ethical shift from moral responsibility toward popularity and monetization; (3) the low level of digital literacy among preachers and audiences in dealing with hoaxes and algorithmic manipulation; and (4) the extreme simplification of religious arguments that neglect contextual interpretation. Findings reveal that platform algorithms actively shape content and norms of preaching through systems privileging engagement over substantive depth. This study proposes an integrative model with five pillars: algorithm-aware ethics, digitally-informed scholarship, critical media literacy, contextual argumentation, and transparent practice. Practical implications include the need for digital literacy education, the development of alternative platforms grounded in Islamic values, and the transformation of Islamic education curricula to integrate critical understanding of digital technologies. Theoretical contribution lies in extending mediatization theory, enriching algorithmic ethics discourse, and deepening critical media literacy within the context of digital Islamic preaching, offering a novel interdisciplinary framework beyond previous studies
