The horoscope of Iskandar Sultan
In the spring of 1980, the author was asked to prepare a catalogue of the Persian manuscripts preserved in the library of the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine. During preliminary stages of this work a remarkable manuscript came to light which is the subject of the present article. This is the personal horoscope of Iskandar Sultan, the grandson of Tīmūr (d. 807/1405). Iskandar ruled in Fars, South West Iran, for five years from 1409 to 1414. He is best known for his interest in the arts and sciences and for his patronage of manuscript production.</jats:p
An Assessment of Stakeholder Perception on the Development of Iskandar Malaysia: Review of Process and Procedure
AbstractThis paper examines the establishment of Iskandar Malaysia development through qualitative and quantitative research methods. This paper also evaluates stakeholders’ perception on the development process and procedures in Iskandar Malaysia. Through review of literatures, semi-structured interviews and questionnaire, data were gathered. A triangulation method was then used to examine the information on a level of stakeholder participation in the development of Iskandar Malaysia. Results indicated there were conflicts between Iskandar Malaysia master plan with the development plans used in the region. Hence, the discussion on recommendation and suggestion in the article will offer several recommendations for improving regional economic development in Malaysia
FLYPAPER EFFECT PADA UNCONDITIONAL GRANT
This research is intended to know the influence of unconditional grants, local revenue, and GRDP to local expenditure and to detect the possibility of flypaper effect occurrences at local expenditure in West Java province. Population in this research is West Java Province and the sample consisted of 13 regency and 6 municipality. Estimates conducted by the panel regression using eviews program. The results of this research, the first show that unconditional grants significant and have positive relationships to local expenditure, local revenue has a significant and a positive relationship to local expenditure, GRDP has a significant and a negative relationship to the local expenditure. Second, the value of the coefficient of local revenue is greater than unconditional grants and both are significant. It indicates no occurrence of flypaper effect in West Java Province
EVALUASI SISTEM AKUNTANSI PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PADA PT. ISKANDAR INDAH PRINTING TEXTILE SURAKARTA
PT. Iskandar Indah Printing Textile is a company engaged in textiles and
garments. To support and develop the company's main activities PT. Iskandar
Indah Printing Textile designing some systems such as raw material inventory
systems, sales systems, purchasing systems and others. In running their raw
materials, the company should give special attention because it is one source of
continuity of the company to run its business operations.
In evaluating the procurement system and raw material of PT. Iskandar Indah
Printing Textile, author researched with observed and compared between the existing
theories with a system that has been used in that company. According to the author of
the procurement system and the expenditure of raw materials used by the company it is
good enough where there are elements of the accounting system of raw material
purchases and expenditures of the company include, the existence of a clear separation
of functions, the existing authorization of documents, the letter of the purchase order,
use the document duplex. Nevertheless, there is still some weakness among others, the
warehouse is still doing a concurrently function, the warehouse did not have evidence of
receiving the report documents, there is no document to any refund of goods from
production to warehouse parts
Remembering there are still has any weakness that the author discovered during
the conduct of research at PT. Iskandar Indah Printing Textile, the author recommends
that companies should separate the functions of receiving and storage functions, the
warehouse should add one sheet document of receipt of goods to archived reports,
should be made to the evidence warehouse returns (returns of production) so that the
production of archive documents have proof of return goods warehouse

UD. Pringgohardjo Iskandar is a company engaged in Semarang crops such as cloves. UD. Iskandar Pringgohardjo already implements the concept of management information systems that handle goods. Management of processing goods which do include raw cloves into cloves chopped, cloves drying process, the process of clove seasoning and clove packing process. The weakness of enterprise information systems is the lack of production scheduling process. So it is difficult to carry out the production division of the clove production machines available. It is therefore necessary production scheduling using genetic algorithms in order to optimize the production of cloves. The result of this research is a scheduling production application. The conclusion is the application in accordance with the needs and objectives of the author and can make the process of production was at UD. Iskandar Pringgohardjo become more efficien
Implementasi Pendidikan Multikultural di Yayasan Perguruan Sultan Iskandar Muda
Multikultural education can simply be interpreted as a process of community
development so that they have knowledge and are able to be adaptive in the midst of a
diverse society. The main goal of multikultural education is to create multikultural
awareness in every child which in the end will be able to create social conditions based
on equal rights and respect for each group. In this paper, the author uses a qualitative
research method because this method uses data taken through observation,
documentation and interviews with school principals, teachers and students at the Sultan
Iskandar Muda College Foundation (YPSIM). To review this paper, the author uses the
theory of social interaction and multikultural education. According to Banks,
Multikultural Education is an idea, an educational reform movement and a process.
Thus, the results of the research in this paper, found that the Sultan Iskandar Muda
Education Foundation (YPSIM) has implemented multikultural education, as seen from
the integration of Multikultural Education in Religious Subjects, schools also make
facilities through the provision of houses of worship for each religion in schools, To
further strengthen the application of multikultural education in religious lessons, the
teachers create a Mutual Class program which is attended by all students, besides that
the college also celebrates Religious Holidays for all students which in its
implementation involves all students which aims to make the interaction of school
residents more intimate. and lead to mutual understanding.Pendidikan multikultural secara sederhana bisa diartikan sebagai proses
pengembangan masyarakat agar mempunyai pengetahuan dan mampu bersikap adaptif
di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang beragam. Tujuan utama pendidikan multikultural
adalah menciptakan kesadaran mulitkultur pada setiap anak yang pada akhirnya akan
mampu menciptakan kondisi sosial yang berasaskan persamaan hak dan penghargaan
bagi setiap kelompok. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian
kualitatif karena metode ini menggunakan data yang diambil melalui observasi,
dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap kepala sekolah, gur-guru dan siswa di Yayasan
Perguruan Sultan Iskandar muda (YPSIM). Untuk mengkaji tulisan ini, penulis
menggunakan teori interaksi sosial dan pendidikan multikultural. Menurut Banks

proses. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian dalam tulisan ini, menemukan bahwa

yang multikultural, terlihat dari pengintegrasian Pendidikam Multikultural dalam Mata
Pelajaran Agama, sekolah juga membuat fasilitas melalui penyediaan Rumah Ibadah

KONSEP PENDIDIKAN KH. NOER ISKANDAR SQ DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN PONDOK PESANTREN
Islamic boarding schools as one of the faith-based education, also function as Islamic religious broadcasters. Islamic boarding schools have a high level of integrity with sekitamya and become a moral show for the general public. The science studied is inseparable from religious teachings, meaning that all events that occur are considered to have a relationship with religious teachings. The educational institution built by kiayai Noer Iskandar SQ is the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School which is an Islamic educational institution and a religious social institution. In its capacity as an Educational, Religious, and Community institution, Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School always exists in developing its educational concept and remains committed as a stronghold of the Islamic shiar struggle. The method that the author used in this study is the qualitative method. The reason researchers use this is because in this paper, the author wants to provide, explain, describe the concept of pesantren education thought developed by KH. Noer Iskandar SQ who critically, or describes a phenomenon, an event, or an event of social interaction in pesantren. Therefore, this type of qualitative research is descriptive, by collecting field data and existing literature. The difference between one type and another lies in the purpose and strategy of discovery.
Pondok pesantren sebagai salah satu pendidikan berbasis agama, juga berfungsi sebagai lembaga penyiaran agama Islam. Pondok pesantren memiliki tingkat integritas yang tinggi dengan sekitamya dan menjadi rnjukan moral bagi masyarakat umum. Ilmu yang dipelajari tak pemah terpisahkan dari ajaran agama, artinya semua peristiwa yang terjadi dipandang memiliki hubungan dengan ajaran agama.. Lembaga Pendidikan yang dibangun oleh kiayai Noer Iskandar SQ adalah Pondok Pesantren Asshiddiqiyah yang merupakan sebuah lembaga pendidikan Islam dan lembaga sosial keagamaan. Dalam kapasitasnya sebagai lembaga Pendidikan, Keagamaan, dan Kemasyarakatan, Pondok Pesantren Asshiddiqiyah senantiasa eksis dalam mengembangkan konsep Pendidikannya dan tetap pada komitmennya sebagai benteng perjuangan syiar Islam. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualiltatif. Alasan peneliti menggunakan ini adalah karena dalam tulisan ini, penulis ingin memberikan, menerangkan, mendeskripsikan konsep pemikiran pendidikan pesantren yang dikembangkan oleh KH. Noer Iskandar SQ yang secara kritis, atau menggambarkan suatu fenomena, suatu kejadian, atau suatu peristiwa interaksi sosial yang ada di pesantren. Oleh karena itu, jenis penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif, dengan mengumpulkan data lapangan dan ada kepustakaan. Perbedaan antara tipe yang satu dengan yang lain terletak pada tujuan dan strategi penemuannya.
 
Manajemen Pengarsipan Data Personal Karyawan Pada PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda Kabupaten Aceh Utara
This research contains procedures for archiving employee personal data at PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda. The archive must be managed with proper procedures because it has an important role as a source of information. Sources of data are obtained based on sources, documents, and archives. Based on the observations made by the author, the procedure for archiving employee personal data at PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda is divided into two parts, namely manual archiving and electronic archiving, to facilitate the organization and retrieval of archives. The obstacle faced is the lack of archive storage facilities and infrastructure, both manual and electronic storage, so it needs to be maximized so that the employee archives that have been stored are not easily damaged or lost
Flypaper effect at the local governments: an empirical analysis for Aceh Province
The objective of this reseach is to test the phenomenon of flypaper effect in local governments in Aceh Province during 2008 to 2012. The research used panel data analysis. Technically, it regresses the independent variables of the local owned revenue and unconditional grants on dependent variable of public spending where the institutions as a moderating variable. The flypaper effect was found in the case of public and infrastructure expenditures. The study also found that the institution is capable to reduce the use of unconditional grants. It means that by the role of institution the local owned revenue can be optimized
