No full textThe title of this thesis is “Analisis Tokoh Utama Dalam Novel Shéndiāoxiálǚ《神雕侠侣》 Karya Jin Yong （金庸）: Tinjauan psikosastra”. The purposes of this research are: to describle main character Yang Guo personality and finding factors that cause main character Yang Guo had a loyal and spiteful personalities in Shéndiāoxiálǚ’s novel. Methods that being used in this research is deskriptif kualitatif method. Data in this research is the next (narration and dialog) in Shéndiāoxiálǚ’s novel that showed and describe main character’s personality. After the data have been gathered, data being analyzed bu Sigmund Freud’s psikosastra theory. The result showed Id, Ego and Superego in main character Yang Guo that made Yang Guo had loyal and spiteful personalities. There are various factors that made main character Yang Guo loyal and spiteful.Skripsi ini berjudul Analisis Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Shéndiāoxiálǚ《神雕侠侣》 Karya Jin Yong （金庸）: Tinjauan Psikosastra. Dalam hal ini penulis berusaha menganalisis gambaran kepribadian tokoh utama Yang Guo dan dan faktor-faktor penyebab yang mempengaruhi kepribadian tokoh utama yang ditinjau berdasarkan psikosastra dalam novel Shéndiāoxiálǚ《神雕侠侣》. Tujuan dari karya tulis ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran kepribadian tokoh utama Yang Guo dan menemukan faktor-faktor penyebab tokoh utama Yang Guo berkepribadian setia dan pendendam dalam novel Shéndiāoxiálǚ《神雕侠侣》. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan teks (narasi dan dialog) yang terdapat pada novel Shéndiāoxiálǚ《神雕侠侣》 yang menunjukkan dan menggambarkan karaktek tokoh utama. Setelah data selesai dikumpulkan, data dianalisis menggunakan teori psikosastra Sigmund Freud. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat Id, Ego, dan Superego di dalam kepribadian tokoh utama Yang Guo yang menyebabkan tokoh Yang Guo memiliki kepribadian setia dan pendendam. No full textThis study aims to determain the performance analysis at the Maro Sebo Ilir Healt Center, Batanghari District, using the Balance Scorecard method. In analyzing the data researchers used qualitive methods. This analysis is based on interviews and by looking at existing data at the puskesmas, both financial and non-financial data. The sample in this study, namely performance of the financial perspective, the performance of the customer perspective, the performance of the internal business process perspective, and the performance of the growth and learning perspective. The result of the study using the Balance Scorecarad method at the Maro Sebo Ilir Healt Center show at the financial perspective which has an everage results is more effective than the results of the four research variables. The results showed than the Balance Scorecard analysis from the UPT Puskesmas Maro Sebo Ilir had Performed poorly, namely 80% was below the standard set at 80% - 100%%.

No full textThis research is aimed at taking comprehensive understanding regarding the type of figurat ive language wit hin the song lyrics in Kat y Perry?s Witness (2017) album to know what her perspectives about her country (USA) especially after the 2016 election. After understanding the type of figurative language, it is then related and connected to the idea of the author. The utilized theories in this research are stylistics by Geoffrey Leech and Mick Short and figurative language by Laurence Perrine. This study uses qualitative method and content analysis approach since the object of the analysis is formed as song lyrics. Adopting the Perrine?s theory of figurat ive language, it is discovered that there are only seven of twelve types of figurative language i.e. simile, metaphor, personification, metonymy, symbol, hyperbole, and irony. Metaphor mostly dominates in the song lyrics with its total eight times (29,63%) of occurrence. After finding the type of figurative language, the researcher relates the meaning of figurative language to the context in the data. Hence, it is discovered that the author?s political perspective and women empowerment in metaphor which dominates the type of figurative language

No full textKemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah, salah satunya disebabkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan video animasi 3D berbasis Plotagon terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Lhokseumawe pada materi statistika, khususnya ukuran pemusatan data. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental nonequivalent control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang telah divalidasi ahli dan mencakup indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,018 < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan pendekatan CTL berbantuan video animasi 3D berbasis Plotagon terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa

No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine whether critical thinking ability of students taught by throwing a snowball learning model is better than the critical thinking skills of students who are taught in a conventional manner on materials physics in class X1 SMAN 1 Montasik Aceh Besar. This study used an experimental method with quantitative approach and supported by qualitative data. The subjects were students of class X1 SMAN 1 Montasik. The research sample was obtained from the class X1 with the number of 23 students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests carried out objectively against aspects that will be observed in the form of data. Data collection tools in the form of matter. The performance indicators is expected that students can think critically with the implementation of learning with models snowball throwing. The results showed that the value of the average post-test experimental class = 70.91 and the value of post-test control group = 60.56. Thus it appears that the critical thinking skills of students with learning model application snowbal throwing better than the students' critical thinking skills through conventional learning
Board Independence and Firm Performance
No full textAbstractThe board of directors is a collective body that should act in the best interest of shareholders. The board requires the combination of executive and non-executive directors to pursue the shareholders’ interest. The non-executive directors on the board will not be able to exercise their duties effectively, unless they are independence from management and ensure they provides unbiased business judgment. Independent directors are the person entrusted by shareholders to represent them and will help to reduce agency problems. Further, the Code of Corporate Governance and regulators recommend the composition of board members should be balanced and consist of independent directors. However, mere compliance with the recommendations is not enough if the independent directors fail to exercise their functions effectively. A study has been carried out in a few countries by examining board independence and firm performance. The results showed a mixed association between proportions of independent directors and firm performance. Although the companies comprised the highest number of independent directors, it would not assure to enhance firm performance. Thus, the existence of independent directors on board should be monitored in order to bring positive shareholder values
VALIDITY ANALYSIS OF ANIMATED VIDEOS BASED ON SPARKOL VIDEOSCRIBE AS DIGITAL LEARNING MEDIA
No full textThe lack of diverse creativity of educators in using learning media makes students feel bored with learning. Moreover, the rapid development of technology makes students more creative in using digital devices. Therefore, prospective teachers must have basic abilities in developing digital learning media to meet students' digitalization needs. This research was conducted to find out the validity of the Sparkol Videoscribe learning media as a digital learning media on the subject of movement in objects. This type of research is Research and Development (RD) which is modified and developed through research procedures. This research uses the development of the ADDIE model. This development stage uses validation by videoscribes and Material Experts. The validity of the media was assessed through a questionnaire given to 2 Material Experts and 2 videoscribes. Based on the questionnaire given, the percentage of validation assessments by videoscribe 1 and videoscribe 2 was 88.66% and 95.7% respectively. In this way, the Sparkol Videoscribe learning media was categorized as "very valid" by videoscribes. Meanwhile, the validation assessments for Material Expert 1 and Material Expert 2 obtained percentages of 90.7% and 91.7% respectively, or the "very valid" category. Based on the expert's assessment, it was concluded that the Sparkol Videoscribe was worthy of being tried out
