The named of our business is Balung Emas Enterprise. Balung Emas Enterprise is a partnership company whose membership is Mohd Hafiez Ramlan, Mu’minah Musa, Tg Rohasliza Tg Muda, Masuriani Jusop and Nurul Husna Abd Kadir. Based on our observation and some interview several weeks ago, we found that there are no enough chicken suppliers at the area of Jerteh. Most of them only provide the process chicken but do not seed the chickens because most of them do not have suitable place for them to build the chicken coop. Therefore, we choose to seed and provide the process chickens to the market because we have found the suitable place to build the chicken coop and it will automatically can reduce our cost from buying the chickens from the other and process it before we can sell it. However, if there is any process chicken company want to buy from us, we also can sell to them. Nowadays, we can see that broiler chicken having high demand among the people especially for the canteen or dining contractor, wholesaler, retailer and also individual people. This is because most of the time the broiler chicken is one of the important ingredients for any kind of recipe for any situation. Besides many recipes can be done by this broiler chicken, this broiler chicken is also liked by all level of people from the youngest to the oldest. When looking all this kind of situation, we have decided to open up a business that seed the broiler chicken and sell them whether process or unprocessed

Musa is a large perennial monocotyledonous herbaceous plant genus in Musaceae family native to the Indo-Malesia, Asian and Australian tropics. It has five taxonomic sections with two of them contain edible bananas. Banana and plantain are considered as an important food crop for people as it ranked fourth globally after rice, wheat and maize. Banana is either consumed raw as fruits or cooked, steamed, boiled, grilled, baked, and fried to make into chips, dessert, snack and food like curry and soup. The plant can be used as silage, rope, cordage, garlands, shelter, clothing, smoking materials and ceremonial and religious uses (Nelson et al., 2006). The edible cultivated varieties were derived from the hybridization between two wild species namely Musa acuminata Cola and Musa Balbisiana Cola which gave rise to different genomic groupings namely AA, AAA, AB, ABB/BBB, ABBB (Hakkinen and Hong, 2007Suhana et al., 2012). The increasing areas of banana plantations in tropical countries are threatened by the continuous pests and diseases problems such as the appearance and spread of the virulent form of Sigatoka leaf spot disease. Thus, awareness has been increased among banana breeders in order to produce new cultivated varieties with the disease-resistant characteristics (Pancholi et al., 1995). However, breeding programs are difficult to be done in cultivated Musa. This is due to the nature of fruits from cultivated Musa species which are normally sterile and very low fertility. Cultivated Musa species are known as its parthenocarpic characteristics where fruits are produced without pollination and fertilization thus seeds are not form (Nelson et al., 2006). An embryo culture and micropropagation technique was done to develop the clonal population of wild bananas, Musa acuminata ssp. malaccensis and Musa gracilis for breeding purpose. The aim of this study was to compare in vitro germination and multiplication rate of two Malaysian wild bananas species. Embryos were cultured at different days; starting from day one until day 30 of fruit’s harvested. Result showed that the highest germination rate for both wild bananas was achieved from ripen fruit compared to unripe and over-ripen fruit. Germinated seedling were transferred onto MS media supplemented with 2 mg/L 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) for several times to generate explants with multiple shoots. M. gracilis showed high proliferation rate compared to M. acuminata ssp. malaccensis after first sub cultured. In subsequent culture, number of shoots was increasing in M. acuminata ssp. malaccensis but not in M. gracilis

White rice is one of the essential cereals and staple food for more than half of the world's population, especially in Asia. Rice is known as the main source of carbohydrates and energy. Eating rice regularly may be of concern for some people, especially if it accounts for a large portion of daily food intake. High consumption of white rice related to the increased risk of diabetes in the world. The objectives of this study are to determine the potential compound present in the sample extraction of cooked white rice with and without Musa paradisiaca leaves by using liquid-liquid extraction. This study also optimization the uses of solvent used in this extraction namely hexane, methanol and petroleum ether in term of their ability to extract the compound present in both sample of cooked white rice. All the samples were analysed by using GCMS and FTIR. GCMS analysis showed that the hexadecanoic acid is the major compound detected among those extractions and for FTIR analysis revealed that both samples of cooked white rice showed many functional groups with specific wavenumber

This work studied on the kinetics of Vitamin C extraction from banana peel at different solvent/solid concentration and temperature. Musa Acuminata was ground into smaller sizes before contacted with methanol as a solvent in an ultrasonic bath. To study the effect of solvent/solid ratio, 4.5, 5.0 and 10.0 ml/g ratio were used for the extraction at fixed temperature. Then, the temperature was varied with the heating element available in the ultrasonic bath at 30, 45 and 60 oC, to study the effect of temperature on the extraction kinetics. It was found that high solvent/solid ratio (10 ml/g) provides more solutesolvent contact and prevents the extracted Vitamin C from coming into contact with the air. Besides, higher temperature (60 oC) contributes sufficient kinetic energy for Vitamin C distribution in the solvent which is important to prevent degradation with air. The best fitted kinetic model for Vitamin C extraction from Musa Acuminata is Ana et al. (2007) with equilibrium concentration of 0.05 g/L and 0.40 g/L.hr extraction rate
