胎盤由来間葉系幹細胞の胎盤機能検査法としての役割に関する研究
The cellular and molecular mechanisms responsible for pregnancy-related disorders remain unclear. We investigated the feasibility of using placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as a tool to study such pregnancy-related disorders. We isolated and expanded adequate numbers of cells with characteristic features of MSCs from the chorionic plate (CP-MSCs), chorionic villi (CV-MSCs), and decidua basalis (DB-MSCs) of human term placental tissues. All placenta-derived MSCs expressed pregnancy-associated C14MC microRNA (miRNA) (miR-323-3p). Interestingly, the placenta-specific C19MC
miRNAs (miR-518b and miR517a) were clearly expressed in CP-MSCs and CV-MSCs of foetal origin, but were barely expressed in DB-MSCs of maternal origin. Furthermore, expression levels of placenta-specific C19MC miRNAs in CV-MSCs remained stable during the ex vivo expansion process and across different pregnancy phases (first trimester versus third trimester). High-efficiency siRNA transfection was confirmed in twice-passaged CV-MSCs with
little toxicity, and microarray analysis was used to screen for miR-518b target genes. Placenta-derived MSCs, especially CV-MSCs, are a potential tool for investigating the role of placental miRNAs in pregnancy-related disorders.長崎大学学位論文 学位記番号:博(医歯薬)甲第1006号 学位授与年月日:平成30年3月20日Author: Naoki Fuchi, Kiyonori Miura, Hanako Doi, Tao-Sheng Li & Hideaki MasuzakiCitation: Scientific Reports, 7, 46220; 201
koamabayili/VECTRON-author-checklist: VECTRON author checklist
We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
Digital Object Identifier (DOI) – a must know for every author of scholarly publications.
In the academia it is “publish or perish”. At some stage, the number of international publications also counts. It may however sound ridiculous that referencing may hinder an author from being able to publish in some international journals. This is because such international journals request for the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of references cited by authors. Regrettably, most authors have never heard about DOI before, let alone being familiar with it. DOI is a standard numbering system like ISBN/ISSN. It is a unique code preferred by publishers in the identification and exchange of the content of a digital object such as journal articles, web documents, or other intellectual property. This article is an eye opener to the features and benefits of DOI, anatomy of a DOI name, citing DOI in references and locating DOI of references.Key words: Digital object identifier (DOI), authors, referencing
Author Co-Citation Analysis (ACA): a powerful tool for representing implicit knowledge of scholar knowledge workers
In the last decade, knowledge has emerged as one of the most important and valuable organizational assets. Gradually this importance caused to emergence of new discipline entitled ―knowledge management‖. However one of the major challenges of knowledge management is conversion implicit or tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge. Thus Making knowledge visible so that it can be better accessed, discussed, valued or generally managed is a long-standing objective in knowledge management. Accordingly in this paper author co- citation analysis (ACA) will be proposed as an efficient technique of knowledge visualization in academia (Scholar knowledge workers)

jDHBenelux Author Template
This repository contains the latest official GitHub hosted versions of the LaTeX template that authors are required to use when they finalize their contribtions to the DH Benelux Journal. The repository synchronises with the corresponding easy-to-use and well-documented Overleaf Template that provides authors with a low threshold environment for writing LaTeX – but can be used with any LaTeX compiler.
About this Release: Apart from some minor changes to the .cls, v2.0 introduces a number of new files to improve open source development with git and GitHub, including a README, a CC-BY 4.0 License, and a .gitignore file. It also prepares the repository for synchronisation with Zenodo, to improve sustainability.

Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and DOI services : an overview
In the establishing anniversary of the two biggest Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration agencies all over the world, Crossref and DataCite, the paper intends to provide an overview of the development and approaches and of DOI and DOI services, from which scholarly communication has benefited greatly. At first, the author explores the initiation of DOI and differences of DOI from other persistent identifiers. After that, DOIs for different kinds of objects and DOIs’ value in enhancing scholarly communication is discussed; then, in the second part, DOI services at different levels in a pyramid and those particularly in Germany are described. The active involvement of the library world are also introduced here; finally, the current situation and prospects as well as some issues dealing with DOIs and DOI services are investigated in the last part of the paper

A Kabuki Pose in Sculptures of Auguste Rodin = Egy kabukipóz Rodin szobraiban
Hanako a Marseille-i Gyarmati Kiállításon, 1906-ban találkozott Auguste Rodinnel.
Open access indicators and information society: the Latin American case
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to estimate open access penetration ratios through cross-analysis of existing social context and open access indicators in Latin America. Design/methodology/approach – The following parameters were used to characterize the chosen countries. On one hand, it takes social context indicators like digital opportunity index (DOI), GDP 2007 (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) (www.oecd.org/home/0,3305,e n_2649_201185_1_1_1_1_1,00.html), scientific output 2005, and investment in science and technology vs GDP 2004. On the other hand, it analyses open access indicators considering the two main open access strategies – the green and gold routes – and the existing legal framework.
Findings – This paper discusses the evolution of DOI and compares with open access parameters (numbers of repositories, number of registries in repositories, DOAJ journals and number of creative commons licences) in the context of scientific information in developing countries in Latin America. Research limitations/implications – This paper is not an exhaustive survey and limits the comparison to the Latin American Countries, focalized in Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Originality/value – This paper gives an overview of the situation of three particular countries: Brazil, Chile and Argentina, and explains the position of these countries in the open access movement in Latin America
