    Salafi pesantren is a conventional Islamic educational institution which rooted deeply at Muslim society in Indonesia, especially in Banten Province. Its ability to keep existing and competing with modern pesantren is extraordinary, even though challenges and obstacles coming from competition with both modern pesantren and public schools are very hard, not to mention a stigma given to it directly or indirectly as a place to train radical and militan Islam, has trully destroyed salafi pesantren‟s popularity in society. This research intended to disclose the essential values of salafi pesantren‟s organizational culture along with its influence on its own existence in the society. Research result found out that organizational culture such as value, conviction, custom, and life philosophy is built and maintained by kiai (Islamic scholar, usually also a head of pesantren) as a central figure. Manifestation of pesantren‟s culture includes cultural kinship, solidarity and helpfulness, quality, honesty, and responsibility. These cultures remain sustainable due to the existence of cultural adhesive which are: obedience, familiarity, honesty, and santri‟s (students of pesantren or madrasah) responsibility towards kiai that interpreted as an act of tawaddu‟ (humility), observance, and sincerity

    The Development Practicum Based e-Module Local Wisdom the Chemistry Subject of Acids and Bases

    The subject matter of acids and bases in the chemistry learning syllabus for class XI IPA is KD 3.10 and KD 4.10. In reality, many teachers do not carry out KD 4.10 activities for various reasons, especially the limited tools, and materials in the laboratory. This study aims to create a practicum e-module based on local wisdom in acid-base chemistry subject. Most of the tools and materials used were obtained from the surrounding environment. The research method used was a qualitative description, namely analyzing several sources of literature and the results of practicum e-modules that have been prepared before being applied in learning activities. This study resulted in an interactive practicum e-module and fulfilled the criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2003 regarding guidelines for writing good modules. In general, the resulting e-modules are divided into learning activities in theory to recall the learning material that has been carried out to support practicum activities and practicum activities which are the main activities of creating the e-module. In conclusion, the use of tools and materials in the form of local wisdom for practicum activities in acid-base courses can increase students' insight that learning chemistry practices are not always expensive and use hazardous chemicals

    Servant Leadership, Supervision Competence, Teacher Performance and School Quality: Based on the Principal's Leadership Perspective

    The objective of this study was to investigate the correlation between the principal's use of servant leadership, their competency in supervision, the performance of teachers, and the overall quality of the school. This study employs multiple regression analysis utilising the consistent partial least squares (PLS) method. The findings of the study indicate a significant correlation between servant leadership and both supervision competency and teacher performance, ultimately impacting the overall quality of the school. There exists a positive correlation between the performance of teachers and the overall quality of schools. There exists an inverse correlation between the level of supervision competency and the quality of schools

    Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) dan  Bussiness Model Canvas (BMC) terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Nurul Ilmi Darunnajah Serang; (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Bussiness Model Canvas (BMC) terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Nurul Ilmi Darunnajah Serang; dan (3) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) dan penerapan Bussiness Model Canvas (BMC) secara bersama-sama terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Nurul Ilmi Darunnajah Serang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu ; pertama terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Nurul Ilmi Darunnajah Serang. Kedua, Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari penerapan Bussiness Model Canvas (BMC) terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Nurul Ilmi Darunnajah Serang.     The Impact of Servant Leadership, Supervision Competence, and Teacher Performance on School Quality

    Objective: This study examines the correlation between servant leadership, supervisory competency, and teacher performance in school quality. Method: The results of this investigation were confirmed by employing a statistical survey approach. The structural equation model's PLS-SEM method for prediction was used to generate the values of the latent variables. The research sample comprised nineteen principals and two hundred thirty-one elementary school teachers from the Ciwandan sub-district of Cilegon City in Banten Province. Results: Structural model statistical studies show a positive relationship between servant leadership and supervisory competence. Supervision competency and school quality are not positively correlated. Servant leadership is positively correlated with teacher performance, and teacher performance is positively correlated with school quality. Novelty: The novelty of this research is that there are differences in emphasis, research participants, and integration of research components compared to other research. This study introduces novel research integrating servant leadership, supervisory competency, and teacher performance in school quality. This innovative research integrates multiple variables into a single unit for investigation and analysis

    The Effects of Servant Leadership, Supervision Competence, and Work Loyalty on Teacher Performance

    The primary emphasis of teacher performance lies in the strategies employed by educators to proactively enhance the academic achievements of their students. The aim of the research is to examine the relationship between servant leadership, supervisory competence, and teacher work loyalty on teacher performance. This research uses survey methodology, the research sample is 19 school principals and 81 public elementary school teachers in Ciwandan District, Banten Province, Indonesia. The sampling technique was carried out by random sampling. The data collection instrument for this investigation was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using PLS path modeling. The results of the research show that servant leadership has a significant effect (p0.05) on teacher performance, servant leadership has a significant effect (p<0.05) on teacher performance , and work loyalty have a significant effect on teacher performance. Future research is expected to produce a servant leadership paradigm to encourage the growth of teacher performance for the benefit of the school. The implications of this research finding may provide a useful means for principals to self-reflect on their leadership, thereby improving the overall quality of their educational leadership institutions
