Studi pemikiran Raden Haji Muhammad Nuh Cianjur tentang penentuan arah kiblat dalam kitab Risalah al-Qiblah
Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi pada saat ini memang sangat memungkinkan untuk menemukan arah kiblat yang lebih akurat. Risalah al-Qiblah karya Raden Haji Muhammad Nuh Cianjur merupakan kitab yang membahas mengenai penentuan arah kiblat yang dilengkapi data nilai arah kiblat terhadap Barat dan Utara untuk 18 Kota di Indonesia dan arah kiblat untuk 278 kota diseluruh dunia (Asia, Afrika, Eropa, dan Australia).
Melihat permasalahan di atas, penulis ingin menganalisis akurasi arah kiblat dalam kitab tersebut dengan teori dan perhitungan yang sama dan modern. Sehingga penulis merumuskan dua masalah dalam penelitian ini, yaitu bagaimana pemikiran Raden Haji Muhammad Nuh dalam penentuan arah kiblat? dan bagaimana tingkat akurasi arah kiblat dalam kitab Risalah al-Qiblah karya Radsen Haji Muhammad Nuh Cianjur?
Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan data primer yaitu Kitab Risalah al-Qiblah dan wawancara dengan peneliti sebelumnya. Sedangkan data skundernya penulis mengambil dari buku-buku dan karya ilmiah yang berhunungan dengan arah kiblat. mengenai analisis data penulis menggunakan metode deskiptif analitik yaitu analisis dengan menggambarkan perhitungan arah kiblat dengan teori yang ada.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah penulis melakukan observasi, ternyata ditemukan hasil arah kiblat dari kitab Risalah al-Qiblah selisih 2˚ dengan teori perhitungan segitiga bola. Artinya arah kiblat dalam kitab Risalah al-Qiblah bisa dikatakan akurat bila memakai teori segitiga bola karena masih dalam konteks Ihtiyatul Kakbah.
ABSTRACT:
The development of science and technology at this time is indeed very possible to find a more accurate Qibla direction. The Risale al-Qiblah by Raden Haji Muhammad Nuh Cianjur is a book that discusses the determination of the Qibla direction which is equipped with data on the Qibla direction values to the West and North for 18 Cities in Indonesia and the Qibla direction for 278 cities around the world (Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia ).
Seeing the problems above, the author wants to analyze the accuracy of the Qibla direction in the book with the same and modern theories and calculations. So the authors formulate two problems in this study, namely how Raden Haji Muhammad Nuh's thoughts in determining the Qibla direction? and what is the level of accuracy of Qibla direction in the book Risale al-Qiblah by Radsen Haji Muhammad Nuh Cianjur?
The method used by the author in this study is a qualitative method, with primary data, namely the Book of Risale al-Qiblah and interviews with previous researchers. While the secondary data the author takes from books and scientific works related to the Qibla direction. regarding data analysis the author uses descriptive analytic method, namely analysis by describing the calculation of Qibla direction with existing theory.
The results showed that after the writer made observations, it was found that the results of the Qibla direction from the Risale al-Qiblah book had a difference of 2˚ with the spherical triangle calculation theory. This means that the Qibla direction in the Risale al-Qiblah book can be said to be accurate when using the spherical triangle theory because it is still in the context of the Ihtiyatul Kaaba
PEMANFAATAN ZEOLIT DIAKTIFKAN DENGAN LARUTAN ASAM UNTUK PEMURNIAN BIODIESEL
Utilization of zeolite activated by acid solution for biodiesel purification has been done. This research is conducted to find the mechanism of biodiesel purification from catalyst with activated zeolite, the effectiveness of the activated zeolite of various particle size, soaking time and purification temperature, the economic feasibility of biodiesel production by using this method and the more economical method by comparing the cost and performance of biodiesel purification using activated zeolite and using water and acid solution.This research has used cooking oil, methanol and sodium hydroxide to make biodiesel, sulfuric acid as activator and zeolite from Gunung Kidul which is filled into wash column with support from vacuum pump to purify biodiesel. The variable of the research is particle size of zeolite among others: 12 mesh <De< 20 mesh, 20 mesh <De< 40 mesh and 40 mesh <De< 80 mesh, soaking time 0, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours, and purification temperature 27oC, 40oC and 60oC.Mechanism of activated zeolite for purifying biodiesel from catalyst has been investigated that activated zeolite is using the absorption rate where catalyst will fill the empty pores of zeolite and its cation exchange capacity where it will exchange cation in zeolite surface with cation of catalyst so that zeolite can purify the unwashed biodiesel from catalyst. Optimization of biodiesel purification using zeolite activated by acid solution method can be achieved with particle size of the zeolite 20 mesh <De< 40 mesh, 30-minute soaking time and purification temperature at 27oC. Economic analysis of the use of zeolites in the optimum condition within one year resulted Payback Period 8.68 months, Benefit Cost Ratio 1.86, Net Present Value Rp 431,173,257.44 and Return of Investment -138 % and the use of zeolite activated by acid solution more economical than the use of water and acid solution as purifying biodiesel because of cost savings can be made up to 86% of method of using water and acid solution
PEMIKIRAN MUHAMMAD ASY-SYAIBANI TENTANG KASB DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN HUKUM EKONOMI SYARIAH
This research is motivated by the need to strengthen the framework of Islamic economic law, which is not only oriented towards material profit but also emphasizes justice, business ethics, and social responsibility amid the challenges of globalization and digitalization. The concept of kasb (work or effort) as initiated by Imam Muhammad asy-Syaibānī in his work Kitab al-Kasb is one of the fundamental references in classical Islamic economic thought. Asy-Syaibānī’s thought emphasizes that work is not merely an economic activity but also an act of worship and a means of achieving social justice. This research addresses the fundamental question of how asy-Syaibānī’s concept of kasb can be actualized within the framework of contemporary Islamic economic law.
This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The primary source analyzed is Kitab al-Kasb by Muhammad asy-Syaibānī, using Friedrich Schleiermacher’s hermeneutics as the main theoretical approach. This approach allows an in-depth interpretation of classical texts by considering the historical, linguistic, and psychological context of the author. Thus, the values of kasb can be explored, understood, and applied in the context of modern Islamic economic law. Islamic economic law serves as the normative foundation to link the concept of kasb with contemporary issues in Islamic business law in the era of globalization and digitalization.
The results of this research show that asy-Syaibānī’s concept of kasb is highly relevant to the fundamental principles of Islamic economic law, especially in supporting the realization of the maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, such as the protection of wealth (hifz al-māl), fair distribution, and business ethics. Through the hermeneutical approach, Islamic work values such as honesty, responsibility, and justice can be integrated into e-commerce practices, worker protection, and the strengthening of sharia business regulations that are adaptive to digital era challenges. This research is expected to contribute theoretically and practically to strengthening a fair, sustainable, and contextual Islamic economic legal framework
Analisis Akad Top Up E-Money dengan Pendekatan Fiqh
The ever-evolving science and technology provide new innovations for the development of money. This development gave birth to electronic money which was widely used by the public. One of the causes of polemic towards e-money is how the fiqh ulama approach fiqh to top up e-money. Fiqh approach is very important for contemporary problems to punish a problem and its derivatives. The purpose of this study is to analyze how contemporary ulama approach fiqh towards the e-money top up contract. There are at least four fiqh approaches to top up e-money, namely al-Ijarah al-Maushufah fi Dzimmah, Wadi'ah, Qard, and Sharf. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of library research. From the research results, it is found that the more appropriate fiqh approach when a customer top up e-money is the sharf contract, namely the exchange of currency with electronic money. With this approach, the discount given by the publisher to the customer is not usury but a gift that is allowed by syara 'as a promotional step for e-money issued by the publisher.
The influence of al-Sahihayn on popular hadith literatures: the case of Khazinah al-AsrarJalilah al-Adhkar
The compilations of authentic hadith by al-Bukhari (d. 870) and Muslim (d. 875) known
collectively as al-Sahihayn serve for the Sunnis as the second highest source of religion after the
Quran. The stringent methods in hadith selection and appraisal in these books have contributed
to their credibility and reliability as a primary religious source, and many succeeding works
attempted to emulate them, though with varying results. Some popular hadith literatures have
also utilized al-Sahihayn as their main source of hadith quotation to enhance their status of
acceptance, notwithstanding some compromises and modifications. This is particularly the
case with a 19th century hadith compilation known as Khazinah al-Asrar Jalilah al-Adhkar by
Muhammad Haqqi al-Nazilli (d. 1884). Thus, this paper aims to delve into this topic in further
details. It attempts to analyze the role and influence of al-Sahihayn on Khazinah al-Asrar, the
extent of compliance of its author with the former, and the overall implication of its extensive
methodology on succeeding hadith works, particularly in Southeast Asia
Students' Perceptions of ChatGPT as a Learning Aid in Arabic Language Education at Universitas Islam KH. Ruhiat Cipasung
Along with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, ChatGPT, as one of the AI-based learning tools, is increasingly used across various educational sectors. However, are students truly prepared to embrace this change in Arabic language learning? This research is essential to investigate how students of Arabic Language Education at Universitas Islam KH. Ruhiat Cipasung responds to the use of ChatGPT, given that this application offers easy access to information but also brings potential negative impacts that have not been widely discussed. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions regarding the benefits, challenges, and impacts of using ChatGPT in Arabic language learning. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with students as participants. The results show that while students view ChatGPT as a tool that can accelerate information access and enhance learning efficiency, they also identify several limitations, such as a lack of understanding of cultural and religious contexts, technical issues, and concerns about over-reliance on technology, which could diminish critical thinking skills. This study offers recommendations to strike a balance between the use of ChatGPT and traditional teaching methods that emphasize direct interaction and discussion, thereby creating a balance between technology and social skills in Arabic language education
Model Kontruksi Midship Kapal Tanker Class Rina Sebagai Alat Pengenalan Kontruksi Kapal
To become an expert engineer in the field of ship construction, of course, must be supported by several learning equipment in the form of tools or models that are able to assist teaching staff during lecture activities, to facilitate students'understanding of ship construction. Therefore the author tries to propose an idea to make a tanker construction model, based on the results of the construction calculations on the midship section of the Tanker ship using ClassRINA, which is calculated in the form of: ivory distance 0.67 m, keel plate with a width of 1.29 m and 12.5 mm thick, and some other calculations. Furthermore, the construction of a tanker ship midship construction model with a scale of 1:25 was carried out using PVC board and PVC profile materials, this model will be able to increase students' understanding by seeing the model construction firsthand

AL-QUR’AN DAN ISLAMISASI BAHASA ARAB
Al Qur’an was sent down to Prophet Muhammad SAW as the Holy book by Arabic. Allah decided Arabic as one of miracles because it was the pure language and uninfluenced by any concept, philoshopy of religion, and doctrines by other cultures; and also built by a great roof of words with eternally semantic guarded purity. In Jahiliyah, Arabic was stated as sastra language. It was changed as a science of language since itwas sent down as wahyu. By this case, author decided that process (the alteration from sastra to be wahyu) is a part of Islamization process. The terms, definitions, and new key words come from Islamization process. Those concepts gave new sense which was different in using and understanding before Al qur’an was sent down.
