    The use of satay stick machines as an alternative to traditional satay stick production aims to be more practical and reduce unused bamboo waste on Bengkalis Island. However, the current machines require bamboo lengths of 25 cm-30 cm, making it difficult to process 20 cm bamboo effectively. This modification focuses on optimizing the shaving machine's function to enhance the production of satay sticks on Bengkalis Island. The existing satay stick machines have limitations in processing 20 cm bamboo, resulting in a significant amount of unused bamboo waste. Optimization is carried out by developing a tool to process shorter bamboo more efficiently. This research aims to increase production efficiency, reduce bamboo waste, and improve profits for satay stick entrepreneurs. The methods used include designing, manufacturing, and testing the optimization tool. The research results are expected to produce better and more uniform satay sticks, support the sustainable development of the satay stick industry, and reduce bamboo waste disposal

    One of the shortcomings of the electrical system in the Electrical Building is that there is no data (display) on the use of electrical loads, especially the Interface Design Lab and Programming Lab in real time. Therefore, a monitoring tool for the use of electrical loads was designed so that the peak load and the lowest load of the use of electrical loads can be known. This tool is also equipped with an LCD to display measurement data such as voltage, current, cos phi and power. This tool is also equipped with an RTC and SD card that work to send measured data every hour and will be stored on the SD card. The measurement data that has been stored on the SD card will be processed with MATLAB using PSD to see the form of density of electrical load usage. The PSD method is used to identify patterns and characteristics of electrical load usage from electrical current measurement data taken every hour for 14 days. Electrical current data is analyzed using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to convert data from the time domain to the frequency domain. The results of the analysis show that there is a dominant frequency component in the low frequency range (0-1 Hz), which indicates a recurring daily electricity usage pattern. The peak electrical load was found to occur during active working hours, reflecting the intensive use of electrical equipment during that period. By understanding electricity load usage patterns, energy saving strategies can be planned more effectively, such as scheduling the use of heavy electrical equipment at non-peak times

    This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of rice husk ash and fly ash as a brick mixture material on its mechanical properties from the porosity test, combustion shrinkage, size and compressive strength as well as to determine the best percentage of mixture in bricks. This study used samples measuring 190 mm in length, 92 mm in width, and 65 mm in height SNI 15-2094-2000 m5a module. The variation in the composition of rice husk ash and fly ash was added by 20%, 25%, and 30%, respectively. The manufacture of bricks is carried out by printing a mixture of soil, rice husk ash, fly ash and water by compaction. And burning for 24 hours. Testing of the mechanical properties of bricks includes porosity, burn shrinkage, size and compressive strength tests based on SNI 15-2094-2000. The addition of rice husk ash and fly ash with a percentage of 20% to 30% can affect the mechanical properties of bricks, namely increasing the porosity of bricks. The percentage of addition of rice husk ash and fly ash of 20%, 25% and 30% with an additional 0.296 kilograms of water can reduce the combustion of red bricks. The addition of 20%, 25%, and 30% rice husk ash was achieved with the addition of 25% rice husk ash and fly at 0.85 N/mm

    Real-time measurement and monitoring of electrical power are crucial in energy management systems to enhance efficiency and reduce unnecessary power consumption. This study involves the development of a power monitoring system based on the ESP8266 microcontroller using the PZEM-004T sensor to measure electrical parameters such as voltage, current, active power, and energy. The system is equipped with a Kalman filter to reduce noise and improve measurement accuracy. The Kalman filter is used in the process of estimating electrical parameters to produce more stable and reliable data, especially under fluctuating or noisy signal conditions. Data obtained from the PZEM sensor is wirelessly transmitted via the Wi-Fi module on the ESP8266 to a server or cloud platform for remote monitoring. Test results show that the application of the Kalman filter can smooth measurement data and provide more accurate power estimates compared to measurements without the filter. The system developed not only offers an efficient and low-cost solution for electrical power monitoring but can also be int`egrated into various smart home and industrial energy management applications

    The problem of this Final Project is to find out how the process of making manifests of liquid bulk cargo carried out by PT Jayden Lintas Samudera Batam Branch. The research objectives are to find out how the process of making manifests, to find out the documents needed in making liquid cargo manifests, and to find out the obstacles that occur in the making process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach involving observation, interview, and documentation methods. The location of this research is at PT Jayden Lintas Samudera. The results of this study indicate that the process of making manifests of liquid bulk cargo carried out by PT Jayden Lintas Samudera Batam Branch has not been maximized with the following information, if the agent gets a SPK then the agent must make a RKSP. Then report into the form of inward manifest. After that the agent reports back the master data and master data details into the outward manifest, in making it using the manifest module application system (Ceisa 4.0) from customs, and after the process is carried out the agent will report through the iOnB website which is a special online permit place in the Batam customs area, and in iOnB the agent will report when the ship arrives (anchored) and also when the ship departs (Cast Of). Documents that must be required are Bill of Lading, Packing List, Invoice, NPE, and PEB. Obstacles faced include Regulatory Changes, and communication errors.

    The use of electronic device technology and microcontrollers, such as the Arduino Uno, offers efficient solutions to various challenges in industrial automation. The design of this tool aims to reduce errors in calculating the height and low of boxes. The existence of this automatic system makes it more accurate in counting boxes. Meanwhile, manual systems are often An error occurred in the box calculation. Arduino Uno is an open-source platform that supports the development of various electronic projects, including automatic goods counter systems. This system operates by pressing the start button, which activates the entire circuit. The conveyor will carry the box to the sensor. The proximity sensor detects the presence of the box, while the ultrasonic sensor measures the size of the box to determine whether the box is large or small. The sensor measurement results are displayed on the LCD. After the counting process, the cylinder activates to push the boxes out of the conveyor. This process continues until the stop button is pressed, which will disable the entire system. From 10 trials, this system succeeded in detecting large and small boxes with 100% accuracy
