Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) associated with PERHILITAN had established the UiTM-PERHILITAN Research Centre, located at Kuala Keniam, Taman Negara Pahang. The research centre located 25km upstream of Tembeling River, only accessible using boat. Although the loca-tion is strategic for geological, environment, and technical research and development, this research centre is located away from the National Power Grid. The generator set used to power-up the centre was not efficient, as it used 200 litres of gasoline for 2 hours operation. The gasoline price and its transportation might be costly and UiTM cannot bear the cost for generator's long run. Looking at this problem, the author had come up with a research thesis, supported by a full scale model of free flowing water turbine that can supply the centre with electricity up to 1kw of power. The design of the turbine can avoid environment damage such as land erosion, jungle flooding and loss of flora and fauna. No damp or weir is used in order to rotate the turbine. By finishing this thesis, the author hopes that the turbine can be further develop for commercial used in the future and a self-sustainable community can be achieved, without have to be dependent on the oil-based power generation

The research entitled "Problematics of Marriage Dispensation Study of Article 7 of Law Number 16 of 2019 Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 Concerning Marriage Perspective of MaşlaḤah Al-Mursalah" which consists of the formulation of the problem, namely, how to analyze the factors for the birth of Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage in the perspective of maşlaḥah al-mursalah and how to analyze the impact of Article 7 of Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage in the perspective of maşlahah al- mullah. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type because research accommodates various forms of ideas and ideas in managing data. Descriptive research (descriptive research) is a research method proposed to describe existing phenomena, which are taking place at present or in the past. In the research conducted, it is expected to be able to describe various phenomena obtained from the results of qualitative data processing collected from several sources of library data (library research) such as court decisions, books, journals, and other scientific works relevant to research. The results of the research conducted show that the factors underlying the birth of Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage contain elements of benefit. As is the legal provision in the perspective of maşlaḥah al-mursalah in the context of maşlaḥah đāruriyah because the birth of Law Number 16 of 2019 is a form of justice, equality, and anti-discrimination. Meanwhile, a critical analysis of the impact of Article 7 of Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage from the perspective of maşlaḥah almursalah has not fulfilled the elements of benefit, because in practice the birth of Article 7 Paragraph (1) of the Law -Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning changing the age limit for marriage to 19 years for both partners have not made any changes in reducing the number of underage child marriages. In social facts, underage child marriage in Indonesia continues to occur and is even more prevalent. Since the enactment of Law Number 16 of 2019 on October 14 2019 until 2022, the marriage of minors has continued to increase, from 607,442 requests for dispensation of kawain to around 114,474 case decisions granted in Indonesia. Even then, marriages that took place were not recorded but were not recorded, while Article 7 Paragraph (2) does not contain the elements of maşlahah because it is unable to prevent harm but instead provides leeway for child marriages to occur

This study aims to present the discourse on the Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010 concerning Law Number 1 of 1s974 concerning Marriage in the context of inheriting children outside of marriage. At the same time, this paper tries to contextualize the problems that arise from Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010. The method used in this paper is entirely based on literature research without neglecting the existing judge\u27s decisions related to the context of the discussion (jurisprudence) and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study show that Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010 is a breakthrough in the renewal of marriage law in Indonesia. The Constitutional Court\u27s decision in favor of a child outside of marriage is a middle ground in the debate about how far the status of a child outside of marriage is by the child\u27s inheritance rights. Meanwhile, to a certain extent, the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) can also be used as a mitigation tool to ensure that Muslims as a whole are far from adultery and never have sexual intercourse before a legal marriage has taken place.

ABSTRACT Game to be excellent new era of increasingly advanced technology. The more depelover game that emit games of various genres. Student achievement is very important and meaningful in the world of education, this picture can be seen from the grouping of classrooms, determining talents and interests as well as the level of ability and willingness of students according to the abilities of each individual. This is why researchers conducted research at MIS NW 03 Pancor with data from class 4 as many as 23 students, class 5 as many as 27 students, and class 6 as many as 25 students which were related to variables in student learning achievement. In determining this matter, the school still uses conventional decision-making methods, so it is still difficult to determine student achievement according to their abilities. Thus, schools need to make changes that can help employees and institutions improve education quality by knowing student learning achievements. As for this problem, the author provides a solution that requires a calculation system with the concept of data mining. Mastery of learning material is one of the benchmarks for obtaining student grades and this is one of the policies in determining student achievement. Apart from grades, there are also attitudes and skills which are factors in determining student achievement at school. This can be solved with one of the techniques in data mining that can be used for grouping, namely clustering. The results of this research are a system that can make it easier for schools to quickly and accurately group student achievement using k-means which is optimized using the elbow method with the results obtained, namely cluster 1 "good" with 9 students, cluster 2 "very good" with 6 students, cluster 3 is "fairly good" as many as 8 students and the Davies Bouldin value is 0.711 and the AVG within centroid distance is 18.821 so it can help the school in determining student achievement group

Plurality In Academic Tradition: The Case of Lecturers? Educational Background at the Graduate School Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta from 1982-2014

This book initially was a research which is completed and submitted to the Graduate School Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Islamic Education. The idea of the book originated primarily from a reality that diversity occurs in all educational levels. For the UIN cases, the phenomena of diversity can be noticed from its academic community; whether it comes from different social or religious organizations, educational background, cultural or ethnicity, countries or even religions. Hence, as a unique institution which produces a distinct tradition of Islamic studies, the UIN provide lecturers with different scholarly tradition; either graduated from the Eastern, Western or local universities. To that end, I performed a research and focused merely on lecturers? educational background to understand further how they dealt with differences, in particular concerning the impact on students? work. I presumed that lecturers struggled with internal conflicts since the background has different educational tradition. The Western, Eastern and local educational traditions have been explored further in this book chapter to help readers understand these different entities respectively. By exploring the notion of collaboration which closely related with conflict resolution, I ended up with a conclusion that the East-West tension nowadays have been melted, although not entirely. I argued that lecturers? collaboration not only can be traced through the intrapersonal or interpersonal aspects. The need to combined those two levels with an additional aspect, the epistemological dimension; become substantial. This statement can be verified since the epistemological dimension of lecturers? educational background becomes the basis on both side to work collaboratively. This general finding indicated that two salient factors that support the process of lecturers? collaboration, including their background as a pesantren graduates and their participation to promote the Indonesian Islam. By having a team-work, they construct the idea to promote the moderate culture amid academic community. With this finding, I reaffirm a general statement which declared the Graduate School UIN Jakarta as a smelting place. My hope that these findings will give a positive contribution on discussion toward research on East-West relationship, diversity and equity, lecturers? collaboration, and professional communities. In view of that, I realized that this research to some degree is a collaboration of so many people whom I cannot mention their names one by one proportionally in this acknowledgment.
