Understanding the factors influencing Generation Z's domestic tourist destination choices in developing countries remains fragmented and scattered across various research contexts, thus lacking a comprehensive and integrated picture. This study aims to identify trends and patterns in the determinants of Generation Z domestic tourist destination choices in developing countries through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The literature search was conducted systematically in ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, SpringerLink, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) databases for publications from 2018–2025, following the PRISMA guidelines. Of the 1,031 identified articles, ten met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in depth through screening, eligibility evaluation, and synthesis of findings. The analysis revealed that psychodigital factors were the most dominant determinants in shaping Generation Z's travel intentions and decisions, including the quality of digital information, telepresence, social media marketing, TikTok content, and the use of digital tourism. Theoretical frameworks such as Stimulus–Organism–Response (SOR), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and the concept of risk perception explain how digital stimuli influence young tourists' cognitive and affective processes in evaluating and selecting tourist destinations. Furthermore, socio-demographic characteristics and post-pandemic dynamics also strengthen the variations in destination selection behavior among Generation Z. The findings of this study emphasize that the integration of psychodigital elements needs to be the main basis in formulating marketing strategies and domestic tourism development policies in developing countries to be more adaptive to the characteristics and preferences of Generation Z

    No full text
Teachers’ questioning plays a pivotal role in shaping classroom interaction and student engagement in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) settings, particularly in primary classrooms where learners have limited English exposure and content knowledge. In many Indonesian EFL classrooms, including those in Lampung, instructional interaction remains largely teacher-dominated, restricting students’ opportunities to participate actively in meaning-making. Responding to this issue, this qualitative case study investigates the types of questioning strategies employed by a primary EFL teacher, how these strategies are enacted in classroom interaction to stimulate student engagement, and the challenges encountered in implementing them with young learners. The participants consisted of one English teacher and eighteen third-grade students at a primary school in Lampung, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal four dominant types of teacher questions—factual, probing, divergent, and higher-order—each serving distinct interactional functions. Factual questions were predominantly used to check understanding and manage lesson flow, while probing questions supported elaboration and reasoning. Divergent questions encouraged idea generation and personal connections, and higher-order questions promoted critical thinking, evaluation, and dialogic interaction. These questioning practices were found to stimulate students’ behavioral, cognitive, and emotional engagement to varying degrees. Interview data further indicate that the teacher intentionally used questioning to monitor comprehension, activate prior knowledge, scaffold participation, and foster student engagement. However, challenges emerged related to students’ limited content knowledge and the teacher’s difficulty in responding to students’ divergent questions

    No full text
Many students face challenges in reasoning through statistical data problems; however, little is known about how their thinking processes develop through different cognitive stages. A qualitative descriptive design was employed to explore students’ reasoning patterns in solving statistical data problems through the lens of Action, Process, Object, and Schema (APOS) theory. This study was conducted with seventh-grade students at a public junior high school in Kulon Progo, Indonesia. Data were collected through written tests and semi-structured interviews and were analyzed using coding techniques aligned with the APOS indicators. The results show that students with correct answers demonstrated conceptual reasoning and progressed through all APOS stages, whereas those with incorrect answers showed fragmented understanding and failed to complete the cognitive sequence. This study contributes to mathematics education by extending the APOS theory to statistical data representation at the secondary level

X-RayVision-Net: CBAM-Infused YOLOv8 for Rapid Pulmonary Disease Recognition

    No full text
Tuberculosis and pneumonia continue to pose major global health challenges, particularly in regions with limited radiological resources, where overlapping chest X-ray patterns often complicate differential diagnosis. This study proposes X-RayVision-Net, a hybrid deep learning framework that integrates the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) into the YOLOv8 architecture to enhance pulmonary disease classification. A quantitative experimental design was employed using 10,056 chest X-ray images categorized as normal, pneumonia, or tuberculosis, collected from multiple public datasets. Image preprocessing involved Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and balanced data augmentation to improve visual consistency and address class imbalance. The proposed model was trained for 100 epochs and evaluated against a standard YOLOv8 baseline using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Experimental results demonstrate that the CBAM-enhanced YOLOv8 model achieved an accuracy of 98.99%, outperforming the baseline model (97.37%) and yielding consistent improvements across all performance metrics. The findings confirm that the incorporation of channel and spatial attention mechanisms effectively refines pulmonary feature representation, facilitating more accurate discrimination between tuberculosis and pneumonia. This framework presents a rapid and reliable computer-aided diagnostic approach suitable for deployment in clinical environments with constrained radiology expertise

Banten’s Karangantu Port as the Maritime Axis of Southeast Asia in the 16th -18th Century

    No full text
This article aims to analyse the socio-economic dynamics and the role of the sultanate in developing Karangantu Port as an international trade centre in Java. During the 16th-18th centuries, Karangantu Port played a role in replacing Malacca as the centre of trade in Southeast Asia. This study employs historical methods, including the heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography stages, supported by a socio-economic historical approach. The results of the study show that the strategic location of Karangantu Port and its well-organised infrastructure attracted foreign traders, making it a cosmopolitan trading centre. The rapid growth of trading activities at this port was supported by sultanate policies, such as free trade, infrastructure development, and diplomatic relations with other kingdoms. The livelihoods of the people of Banten, including farmers, fishermen, craftsmen, and traders, contributed to the port's economic growth. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa's efforts to expand Banten's influence and prevent Dutch monopoly, although ultimately unsuccessful due to internal conflicts, demonstrate the port's importance in the regional maritime trade network. Banten's rise as an economic centre, facilitated by the growth of Karangantu Port, benefited the pepper trade as a major commodity, attracting foreign merchants. The development of this port was also influenced by the fall of Malacca to the Portuguese in 1511, which diverted the spice trade route through the Sunda Strait. The role of Karangantu Port as an international transit port allowed traders from various countries and cultures to participate in trading activities, shaping the socio-economic landscape of the Sultanate of Banten from the 16th to 18th centuries AD

Competitive anxiety is a major psychological challenge that affects athletes' performance, but comprehensive mapping of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) research in this context is still limited. This study aims to analyze and map the development of scientific publications related to the effect of PMR on anxiety in athletes through a bibliometric approach. Data were obtained from the Scopus database using the keywords “progressive muscle relaxation,” “anxiety,” and “athlete*” in the range of 2004–2024. A total of 82 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix-RStudio to map annual productivity, citation patterns, productive journals, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic mapping. The results showed fluctuations in the number of publications with a significant increase after 2019 and a peak in 2021. Frontiers in Psychology and Psychology of Sport and Exercise are the most productive journals. Keyword analysis reveals the dominance of themes such as mindfulness, mental health, stress regulation, and athletic performance. Thematic mapping identifies motor themes such as psychophysiology of heart rate that have potential for further development. The conclusions of this study confirm that PMR contributes significantly to reducing athletes' anxiety and is integrated into a broader psychological approach. Further research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of PMR experimentally across sports and cultural contexts.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memetakan perkembangan penelitian ilmiah terkait teknik Progressive Muscle Relaxation dan kecemasan pada atlet.
