No full textThe study aims to uncovered the facts behind the scientific authority that was showed by Gus Izza Sadewa (the son of KH. Imron Jamil Jombang), who was only 15 years old and was able to present a scientific identity and sufism practices that was very beneficial. The author focuses on YouTube's new media as a shaping of scientific authority in the cyberculture world. The author analyzes the content analysis of some YouTube videos about Gus Izza. The content provided is manifested in aspects of contextual sufism. According to Heidi A. Campbell, there are 4 things that influence a religion or a text ideology, namely hierarchy (value), structure, ideology, and text. The results obtained from several segments of the hierarchy or values formed in the self of Gus Izza, he has Sufism and mature scientific authority, which can be proven by giving explanations about monotheism, the most important in looking for mursyhd-teachers, faith, actualizing worship that applied in daily life. All of those have the main orientation in the virtue ethics (akhlaq al-karimah)
A substantive validity study: An evaluation of withdrawal, burnout, boredom, and CWB item overlap
No full textThe purpose of this study was to investigate overlap between items that are intended to measure withdrawal, burnout, counterproductive work behavior, and job boredom. This substantive validity analysis examined the content of items used to measure boredom, burnout, CWB, and withdrawal. We found that 38% of the items were judged to represent multiple constructs. Most of the overlap existed between boredom and burnout items, followed by withdrawal items but each construct had at least one item that was perceived as confounded. No full textThis is one of two Hebrew books found at the same time on eBay. They are roughly similar to Little Golden Books in the USA. For me, the outstanding feature of each lies in the three full-page colored illustrations. Here those picture FS (11), a cat with mice (23, perhaps BC?), and a crow with a mussel (37). There are also nine smaller black-and-white illustrations along the way. From the pictures, I recognize other familiar stories among the twelve presented in this book. These include The Rich Man and His Friend (7), The Woodsman and His Axe (16), The Rich Woman and Her Youth (19), AD (28), Buried Treasure (30), GGE (33), The Apple Tree (40), and BS (44). No full textThe purpose of this research paper is to show how Muslim female writers are re-constructing their stereotypical images in their autobiographies. For this purpose this research work critically analyzes a memoir of Fatima Mernissi; Dreams of Trespass: Tales of Harem Girlhood. Autobiographical writing is an open invitation to the readers to enter into author’s world of expressions. Women, who are traditionally bound to remain in the private places, can make themselves visible to the outer world by self writings only. Autobiographical writings are the main source for the resisting silence, making one’s story visible and entering into the public view. In outside world, readers are introduced with the stereotypical suppressed image of Muslim women. In this paper, Fatima Mernissi’s memoir is analysed by using the six categories of Reading Autobiographies discussed by Siodine Smith and Julia Watson in their book ; Reading autobiography: A guide for interpreting life narratives . This analysis will help to reconstruct the stereotypical image of Muslim women

No full textStock split merupakan tindakan yang diambil perusahaan untuk memecah nilai nominal saham menjadi nilai nominal yang lebih kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengumuman pemecahan saham (stock split)terhadap likuiditas saham dan future profitability disekitar pengumuman pemecahan saham. Likuiditas saham diproksikan dengan trading volume activity (TVA) dan harga saham, sedangkan future profit di proksikan menggunakan
pertumbuhan laba (ΔEAT). Periode penelitian yang digunakan dari tahun 2011 sampai dengan 2014.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah event study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik pemilihan sampel dengan purposive sampling dan diperoleh 31 perusahaan yang melakukan pengumuman pemecahan saham (stock split) selama periode tahun 2011-2014.Alat uji analisis parametrik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah uji paired sample t-test dan regresi linear sederhana.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengumuman stock split berpengaruh terhadap trading volume activity, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,019 (0,019<0,05). (2)
Pengumuman stock split berpengaruh terhadap harga saham, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test dengan tingkat signifikasi 0,044 (0,044<0,05). (3) Pengumuman stock split tidak berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan
laba (ΔEAT), hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,085 (0,085>0,05)

No full textSmart construction involves the entire process of advancing digitisation, connectivity, visualisation, automation, and intelligence. Malaysia has recently started implementing smart construction, particularly in line with Industrial Revolution (IR) 4.0. Therefore, this research aims to investigate
the implementation of smart construction in the Malaysian construction industry. Two (2) objectives were outlined: to identify the components of smart construction and to determine the benefits of smart construction in the Malaysian construction industry. An extensive literature review was done to obtain general information related to the components of smart construction and its benefits at large. A 254 questionnaire surveys were distributed to the G7 contractors in Johor via an online platform to learn in-depth about the components and benefits of smart construction in the Malaysian context. 31% of responses were obtained and analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Findings revealed two (2) main components of smart construction: digital technologies and manufacturing, and five (5) core benefits have been identified. Thus, the emergence of smart construction will lead to better construction site management, proper construction monitoring, enhanced resource and asset management, and improved workplace safety. This research acts as a continuous source of information for the ongoing research undertaken by the author on the need to establish smart construction concepts in the Malaysian construction industry
