Lo ilimitado y su límite. Deseo, temor a la muerte y palabras en la construcción hobbesiana del orden político moderno
No full textCon Hobbes parece asistirse al nacimiento de la filosofía política moderna: ensu obra la pregunta por el orden de la comunidad se emancipa definitivamentede toda trascendencia para estructurarse de forma inmanente. Sin embargo, elhombre-individuo que se pone como fundamento revela una problemáticailimitación en sus deseos. Derecho, Ley, Soberanía y Estado serían formas deuna necesaria limitación de este sustrato inestable. Pero tal límite deberáencontrar su génesis en ese mismo terreno de lo ilimitado: de ahí la insistenciahobbesiana en el temor a la muerte como experiencia del límite inmanente alpropio deseo ilimitado del individuo. Discutiendo las tesis de Straussseñalamos que esa insistencia no resulta tanto del reconocimiento de unfundamento moral irreductible que vendría a ser ocultado por el racionalismohobbesiano, sino que constituye el recurso a una ultima ratio para un límite que, estando fundado exclusivamente en los intercambios de actos de palabra yvoluntades (pactos), se entrampa en la inevitable indeterminación de laspalabras mismas, que acecha a la modernidad política pensado, con JacquesRancière, como era democrática. Aún más, la insistencia en el métodogeométrico-racionalista derivaría de esta misma dificultad: no sería sino unintento de fijar en un saber objetivo el sentido de esas palabras humanas quedeben fundar, ahora, el orden político.In Hobbes one seems to face the birth of modern political philosophy: in his work the question of the order of the community is emancipated from any transcendence in order to be immanently structured. However, the manindividual that is posited as its basis shows a problematic limitlessness of his desires. Right, Law, Sovereignty and State could be seen as necessary limitations of this unstable foundation. Nevertheless, such a limit ought to find its genesis in this same limitless ground. Hobbes’ insistence on the fear of death as an experience of limitation, internal to the unlimited desire of the individual, results from this necessity. Contesting Straus thesis, it would be pointed out that such insistence would be not the acknowledgment of an irreducible moral foundation later cloaked by Hobbes’ rationalism, but the use of an ultima ratio to secure a limit that, being founded exclusively on the exchange of words and wills (pact), is trapped in the inevitable indetermination of words themselves. It is this indetermination that, as shown by Jacques Rancière, haunts political modernity as a democratic age. Even more, Hobbes’s insistence on the geometric-rational method would derive from this same difficulty; it would be nothing but the attempt to fixate as an objective knowledge the human words that must manufacture, in modern times, the political order.Fil: Rocca, Facundo Carlos. Estudio hidrológico, red de agua potable y red colectora de líquidos cloacales para una urbanización
No full textEl presente Trabajo Final se realizó con el fin de estudiar y diseñar tres etapas fundamentales en el marco del proyecto de una urbanización al norte de la ciudad de Alta Gracia, provincia de Córdoba, Argentina, a la vera de la Ruta Provincial C 45, que comunica dicha ciudad con la localidad de Falda del Carmen. Dentro de los alcances del mismo se abarcó el estudio hidrológico, la red de agua potable y la red colectora de líquidos cloacales. Se estudió de manera exhaustiva el compartimiento y las condiciones hidrológicas del emplazamiento, tanto en estado actual (previo urbanizar) como así también en estado futuro (post urbanización). A su vez, se diseñó el conjunto de obras hidráulicas tendientes a atenuar el impacto del emprendimiento, con el respectivos cómputo y presupuesto. Se diseñó la red de agua potable y la red colectora líquidos cloacales, ajustando el dimensionado de las mismas a las normas ENOHSA (Ente Nacional de Obras Hídricas de Saneamiento).Fil: Bertero, Facundo Josue. El Facundo de Sarmiento : una lectura a la edición de 1851
No full textResumen: El artículo aborda al Facundo de Domingo Faustino Sarmiento desde su historia como publicación, particularizando en la edición del año 1851 titulada Vida de Facundo Qiroga i aspecto fisico, costumbres y hábitos de la República Argentina, seguida de apuntes biográificos sobre el jeneral frai Felix Aldao. Para esta versión, respecto a los primigenios Facundo de 1845, el autor cambio el título, quitó capítulos y agregó una biografía sobre Félix Aldao. Observando esas particularidades se explora la coyuntura de edición desde algunos textos sarmientinos con el fin de interpretar el nuevo contenido. En ese trayecto necesariamente se establece un diálogo con lecturas del siglo XIX y XX que permiten sumar elementos sobre la manera de comprender el Facundo.Abstract: This article analyses Domingo Faustino Sarmiento’s Facundo editions since its first publication, particularly focusing on an 1851 edition titled Vida de Facundo Quiroga i aspecto fisico, costumbres y hábitos de la República Argentina, seguida de apuntes biográficos sobre el general frai Felix Aldao. With respect to previous editions from 1845, in 1851 the author made several revisions of the work: the book title was changed, some chapters were removed, and biographical notes about the general frair Feliz Aldao were added. Taking into account these modifications, the historical context can be examined through the changes introduced in the content of Sarmiento’s pieces of writing. Also, in order to improve the comprehension of Facundo publications in its context, a necessary connection is established between the book and pieces of writing of other authors from the 19th and 20th C

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
