Salah satu kerajinan khas Kabupaten Gresik yang memiliki nuansa islam adalah “Damar Kurung”. “Damar Kurung” adalah kerajinan lampion dari kertas dengan kerangka terbuat dari bilah bambu yang saling berhadapan dengan membentuk persegi yangpada gambar-gambarnya menyerupai bentuk wayang dengan menggunakan warna cerah yang mencerminkan sebuah tradisi Masyarakat yang kental dengan kehidupan religi. Untuk menjaga kelestarian “Damar Kurung” di era perkembangan teknologi.Perlu dirancang sebuah Film Animasi sebagai media informasi yang menghibur dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Gresik. Model Perancangan yang dipakai dalam perancangan Animasi Damar Kurung Sebagai Media Pengenalan dan Ikon Daerah Gresik menggunakan metode perancangan model prosedural. Kerangka perancangan diadopsi dari dari kerangka perancangan Sadjiman Ebdi Sanyoto yang dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan. Hasil dari perancangan ini berbentuk film animasi pendek dengan durasi enam menit tiga puluh tiga detikyang menggabungkan animasi Motion Graphicdananimasi 3d dengan judul “Dibalik Damar Kurung” yang mengulas tentang “Damar Kurung”, dengan memasukan berbagai aspek yang terkandung didalam kesenian tradisional tersebut.Film animasi merupakan salah satu media informasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media untuk melestarikannya

KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM PENGELOLAAN REPONG DAMAR
No full textKearifan lokal merupakan komponen terpenting dalam kebudayaan
termasuk halnya dalam pengelolaan Repong Damar. Repong Damar merupakan
sebidang lahan kering yang ditanami dengan tumbuhan produktif, serta
merupakan sumber perekonomian, getah damar itu sendiri dapat dimanfaatkan
sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan cat. Penyadapan getah damar menggunakan alat
tradisional yaitu kapak, bebalang (alat untuk mengumpulkan getah damar), bakul
(alat untuk mengumpulkan getah damar saat sedang disadap), dan ambon (tali
rotan yang dililitkan ke pohon damar dan tubuh petani sebagai pelindung saat
sedang menyadap). Penelitian tentang kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan Repong
Damar dilakukan di Pekon Pahmungan, Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah, Kabupaten
Pesisir Barat, Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
kearifan lokal pengelolaan Repong Damar di Pekon Pahmungan. Penelitian ini
menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan informan
Purposive Sampling, pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi
terstruktur, data yang diperoleh dilakukan dengan observasi non partisipan, dan
dokumentasi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Tindakan Sosial
dari Max Weber. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa kearifan lokal
dalam pengelolaan Repong Damar di Pekon pahmungan antara lain terdapat: (1)
nilai-nilai adat pewarisan Repong Damar kepada anak tertua laki-laki. Hal ini
dikarenakan anak tertua laki-laki dianggap mempunyai tanggung jawab penuh
untuk keluarganya. Yakni dalam pembukaan lahan harus mengikuti proses
pengelolaan Repong Damar melalui tiga fase yaitu (2) fase darak, yaitu
pembukaan lahan, fase kebun yakni penanaman bibit pohon produktif yaitu
(damar, duku, durian, jengkol), fase Repong yakni proses terakhir dalam
pembukaan lahan yang sudah berbentuk kebun yang menyerupai hutan alami yang
ditumbuhi berbagai tanaman produktif baik kayu, damar, duku, jengkol yang
harus menunggu usia pohon damar berumur di atas 15 tahun untuk siap disadap,
apabila tidak mengikuti ketiga fase tersebut maka akan menyebabkan bala
bencana (kualat) seperti hasil getah damar menyusut dan tidak menghasilkan
getah damar unggul (Damar Mata Kucing). Selain itu terdapat hukum adat yang
mengatur kegiatan pengelolaan petani Repong Damar bahwa penebangan pohon
damar harus sesuai dengan ketentuan umur pohon yakni usia pohon damar di atas
15 tahun, apabila tidak mematuhi maka akan diberikan sanksi berupa penanaman
bibit pohon damar kembali di lahan yang sama. Berdasarkan realita di lapangan
bahwa tindakan-tindakan yang dilakukan oleh petani Repong Damar merupakan
bentuk dari tindakan tradisional karena kegiatan pengelolaan Repong Damar
sudah menjadi tradisi yang dilakukan secara turun temurun yang berasal dari para
leluhur kemudian diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi

No full textThis research aims to identify the character education values contained in the book Washaya al-Aba' li al-Abna Muhammad Syakir and the role of his opinion on the richness of character education values. It is hoped that this research can be used as a source or reference in efforts to develop education and character as a whole, especially character education according to Islam. It can also be used as a reference to facilitate understanding of character education and as a reference for relevant research in the future. This research method is qualitative and uses a narrative biography method. By using a descriptive presentation approach, this autobiography of the character's thoughts combines the ideas of character education from his work. Library research, or library research, is a research method that involves books, articles, notes and electronic media. with primary sources from the book Washaya al Aba Li al-Abna and secondary sources from study books. In this research, data collection was carried out through the documentation method, which includes searching for data through variables such as notes, books, and articles, among others. The author used a content analysis study to analyze the data; they analyzed the data textually based on the contents of the book. The research results show that the book Washaya al Aba Li al-Abna contains 17 educational character values, divided into two categories: 10 character values fall into the moral category and 7 character values fall into the performance category. Faith and piety, love and obedience to the Messenger of Allah, respect for parents, respect for teachers, truth or honesty, nobility or self-respect, patience, sincerity and a simple life are moral characters. Performance characteristics also include trust, discipline, hard work, never giving up, love of the country, interest in reading or literacy knowledge, and concern for the environment
PERANCANGAN MURAL DAMAR KURUNG TENTANG SOSIAL BUDAYA MASYARAKAT BUNGAH GRESIK
No full textKabupaten Gresik memiliki berbagai macam budaya lokal, salah satunya damar kurung. Budaya damar kurung yang semakin hari semakin terkikis oleh perkembangan zaman memerlukan media agar tetap lestari. Sebagai upaya untuk tetap melestarikan Budaya Gresik sekaligus memperkenalkan Budaya Damar Kurung, penelitian ini berupaya untuk merancang mural dengan target sasaran Masyarakat Bungah, Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan pegiat mural dan budaya Kabupaten Gresik, observasi, dan mendapatkan data pendukung melalui dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Metode perancangan ini meliputi latar belakang, rumusan masalah, pengumpulan data, analisis data, konsep perancangan, visualisasi, validasi dan mock up. Perancangan ini menghasilkan empat konsep ilustrasi damar kurung yang akan diterapkan pada media mural yang meliputi kegiatan sosial, makanan khas, monumen kota Gresik dan Wisata religi. Berdasarkan konsep yang telah diperoleh tersebut kemudian dilakukan sketsa digital menggunakan software Procreate. Desain mural damar kurung diterapkan pada tembok lapangan Bungah, lokasi tersebut dipilih karena lapangan Bungah merupakan tempat yang biasa digunakan sebagai pasar dan pusat aktifitas masyarakat Bungah.

Poems of Sheikh Muhammad al-Ghaly Ba
No full textThis volume contains seven poems handwritten by Muhammad al-Ghāli Ba. According to the author's son, Mountaga Ba, the poems were probably composed in the mid-1970s a time when the author lived in Mauritania, while working at the country's national radio station and serving as a special counsel to then president Moktar Ould Daddah (1924–2003). The poems adress various issues. The first is a call to action addressed to the Mauritianian youth, urging them to join in the collective work for the development of the country. The second poem is a hagiography on Ceerno Ahmad Nene Ba of Kaedi (Mauritania). The poem eulogizes the virtues of the patron. The third describes the event of Sharif Muhammad al-Habib's visit to the region of Fuuta region (Senegal), namely the village of Pate Galo. The fourth poem contains greetings and expresions of love addressed to the author's friends in the town of Kaedi. The fifth poem is a remembrance about good times. The author reminisces and praises the qualities of a woman named Jaari.The sixth poem describes one afternoon journey of the author. The seventh poem is a mournful praisesong in which the author laments the loss of a cherished person.Ce volume contient sept poèmes manuscrits de Muhammad al-Ghāli Ba.
