PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PROSES PEMBUATAN RODA GIGI LURUS UNTUK STANDAR KOMPETENSI MEMFRAIS KOMPLEKS JURUSAN TEKNIK MESIN PRODUKSI DI SMKN 3 BOYOLANGU

Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, roda gigi lurus Pendidikan SMK bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk dapat mengembangkan diri sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan kesenian, serta menyiapkan siswa untuk memasuki lapangan kerja dan mengembangkan sikap profesional. Banyak kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam pembelajarannya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, perlu diupayakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat pembelajaran lebih aktif. Pemakaian media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat membangkitkan keinginan dan minat yang baru, membangkitkan motivasi, dan rangsangan kegiatan belajar. Produk media pembelajaran ini dikembangkan dan di uji coba di SMK Negeri 3 Boyolangu pada standar kompetensi memfrais kompleks pada materi pembuatan roda gigi lurus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: Menghasilkan produk multimedia sebagai sarana pembelajaran mata pelajaran memfrais pada materi pembuatan roda gigi lurus terhadap siswa SMKN 3 Boyolangu. Tahapan penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahapan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, dan (5) evaluation. Instrumen pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam pengembangan ini berupa angket kuisioner yang disebarkan kepada dua ahli media, ahli materi, uji coba perorangan dengan 2 orang siswa, dan uji coba kelompok kecil dengan 10 orang siswa. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif hasil wawancara sebagai data awal dan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil penskoran yang kemudian diterjemahkan kevalidanya. Produk media ini berbentuk software cd interaktif. Hasil validasi isi terhadap kelayakan media media pembelajaran ini menunjukkan hasil yang valid dengan perhitungan skor dari validasi ahli media 92,5%, validasi ahli materi 88%, uji coba perorangan 81,5%, dan uji coba kelompok kecil 82,2%. Hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran telah direvisi meliputi: (1) video diberi penjelasan berupa tulisan, (2) warna teks yang berwarna kuning pada materi diganti karena warna kuning menunjukkan link atau tombol, (3) menu tujuan pembelajaran disesuaikan, (4) tata tulis digunakan bahasa yang baik, dan (5) tabel usahakan janganditampilkan secara print screen karena tulisan di dalam tabel kurang jelas.
Field measurement of fishing boats generated waves
Ship generated waves can cause banks erosion as well as disturbance on stationary boats. Studies have shown that the boat generated waves are dependent on and affected by environmental factors and vessel parameters. The main environmental factors are tidal and current direction, and for vessel parameters are speeds and hullforms. This paper describes a full-scale experimental work to measure wave heights and wave angle direction on boat generated waves. The measurement method used in this paper is based on the analysis of digital video recordings and image processing techniques
Pemutuan Buah Jambu Biji Merah (Psidium Guajava L.) Menggunakan Pengolahan Citra (Image Processing
Salah satu cara meningkatkan daya saing penjualan buah jambu biji merah
adalah dapat memenuhi standar mutu pasar domestik maupun Internasional.
Kegiatan pemutuan yang dilakukan oleh pengepul jambu biji merah di Indonesia
kebanyakan masih dilakukan secara manual. Pemutuan secara manual memiliki
kelemahan yaitu mutu yang dihasilkan tidak seragam karena lebih cenderung
bersifat subyektif. Oleh sebab itu, untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka
diharapkan teknologi pengolahan citra (image processing) merupakan solusi yang
tepat dalam pemutuan buah jambu biji merah karena dapat memutukan buah
jambu biji merah secara seragam dengan lebih efektif dan efisien dengan tanpa
merusak bahan (nondestruktif).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel citra yang memiliki
korelasi dengan variabel manual, menyusun variabel-variabel citra buah jambu
biji merah untuk membentuk model kalimat logika, dan mengetahui akurasi
program pengolahan citra dalam pemutuan buah jambu biji.
Bahan yang digunakan buah jambu biji merah segar varietas Australia
dengan kelas mutu Super, A, B, dan Reject. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan
adalah 160 buah untuk data training dan 40 buah untuk data validasi. Semua
sampel tersebut diproyeksikan ke dalam bentuk 2 dimensi dengan cara mengambil
citranya menggunakan kamera CCD (Charge Couple Device). Citra jambu biji
merah kemudian dilakukan segmentasi dan ekstraksi menggunakan program
pengolahan citra yang dibuat dengan software SharpDevelop 4.2. Segmentasi
bertujuan untuk memisahkan citra biner obyek (buah jambu biji merah) dan
background melalui proses penentuan nilai batas (thresholding). Sedangkan,
ekstraksi bertujuan untuk mencari nilai variabel area obyek, tinggi obyek,

diameter obyek, perimeter obyek, area cacat obyek, indeks red obyek, indeks
green obyek, indeks blue obyek, dan nilai hue obyek. Nilai varibel tersebut diuji
menggunakan analisis statistik untuk mencari nilai rerata, standar deviasi, kuartil
pertama (Q1), median (Q2), kuartil ketiga (Q3), nilai maksimum, dan nilai
minimum yang kemudian disusun dalam grafik box plot.
Berdasarkan analisis grafik box plot diketahui variabel yang dapat
digunakan untuk merumuskan model kalimat logika yaitu area obyek dan area
cacat obyek. Perumusan model kalimat logika beserta nilai batas masing-masing
kelas mutu pada input variabel area obyek (Area) dan area cacat obyek (c_area)
untuk memisahkan jambu biji merah kedalam kelas mutu Super, A, B, dan Reject
ditulis sebagai berikut; jambu biji merah tergolong kelas mutu “Super” jika
(Area≥132427 AND c_area≤1830), tergolong kelas mutu “A” jika (Area<132427
AND Area ≥100064,5 AND c_area ≤2868), tergolong kelas mutu “B” jika
(Area<100064,5 AND Area≥77034,5 AND c_area ≤3025), dan tergolong kelas
mutu “Reject” jika (Area3025). Akurasi program
pemutuan buah jambu biji merah terhadap pemutuan secara manual pada kelas
mutu Super menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 85,91%, untuk kelas mutu A
menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 78,75%, kelas mutu B menghasilkan akurasi 90%,
dan mutu Reject menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 95,50%, sehingga diperoleh
akurasi rata-rata sebesar 87,53%. Nilai akurasi tidak mencapai 100%
menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan penggolongan antara pemutuan secara
manual dengan pendugaan oleh program. Rendahnya nilai akurasi dikarenakan
kurang tepatnya dalam penentuan nilai batas (thresholding) sehingga
menyebabkan kesalahan perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh program terhadap nilainilai
variabel citra

The potential of river utilization as public health leverage in Indonesia
Rivers has tremendous benefits for human life generally and for Indonesian’s health and wellbeing’s society in particular. One of them is the function of the river to support peoples who live in the watershed. However, river basin could become health menace if not well maintained, for example, the flood that might be caused by silting of the river as the impact from littering. Public health is not only measured by the high rates of morbidity in an area but can also be triggered by extraordinary events or disasters such as floods. This paper was made to analyze the ability of the river as a community health leverage through identification and review of various articles. Based on extensive article reviews, this study was found that disease prevention and environmental control were the two main factors that could be the foundation of levers public health degrees. Therefore, it is essential to prevent transmissions of infectious diseases and to maintain a sustainable environment
Handling Solutions for Electronic Waste (E - Waste) in Indonesia
Any changes always take effect to the environment either positive or negative, it is no exception developments in technology. In addition to bringing benefits to the human development, technology has always had a negative impact, actually thrash or waste from obsolete technology as the results of the process productions or side product. The mobile phones waste is one of the electronic waste that need to be awareness. Electronic waste processing in particular mobile phones as one of the new problems in the waste management, and it will be an ice mountain problem for developing countries because generally they have limited technology, insufficiency of financial and lack of human resources in the management of electronic waste that electronic trash left to accumulate for granted. Indonesia as a developing country need to strengthening regulatory, economic support and technology transfer of electronic waste management from developed countries to suppress pollution caused by electronic waste disposal carelessly
INVESTIGASI RISIKO KECELAKAN KERJA PADA PETERNAKAN SAPI X DI JAWA TIMUR DENGAN METODE HIRARC
Risk management is a crucial aspect of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) implementation at PT X, which operates in the livestock sector. The implementation of risk management in this company remains limited and has not been effectively operationalized. This research aims to provide a foundational step and evaluation material to minimize workplace accidents. The method used in this study is HIRARC, which is effective and efficient in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and controlling risks. PT X comprises several departments with both minor and major hazard potentials. This study focuses on the Milking Department, which is vital in milk production. The assessment was conducted by analyzing all existing processes and activities results show that low risk accounts for 75%, medium risk for 25%, and high risk for 0%. Risk control is implemented through a hierarchy of controls. The application of this hierarchy of controls can minimize the existing risk levels. Overall, the implementation of OHS at PT X has not been optimal and requires further improvements as a foundational step in OHS implementation and evaluation, as well as to meet the requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) development
The effect of tides and vessel parameters of fishing boat generated waves
Ship generated waves (SGW) can cause bank erosion as well as disturbance to moored boats especially in the river at estuary due to the restricted area, very high boat traffic and shallow water. In this river, the dominant environmental effect is tidal, but unfortunately in-depth investigation of this effect has not been conducted before. Tidal effect may present the critical issues that are closely related to the different water depth, as well as current speed and direction of tide flow due to the boats movement at flooding and ebbing condition of the river. The aim of this research was to determine characteristic of SGW in the river that have tidal condition, also to obtain allowable speed of fishing boat while sailing in the river. Results of a full-scale field experimental work during rising and ebbing tides in the Mersing river are presented. The displacement hull fishing boat has dimension 14.05 x 4.35 x 1 m (length x breadth x draft) and the planing hull fishing boat has dimension 6.5 x 1.46 x 0.8 m (length x breadth x draft) and both were run at 6, 9 and 12 knots. Wave heights and wave spectral energy from SGW of the two fishing boats were analysed and the energy obtained are compared to one of the accepted river criteria known as Brisbane River Criteria. The effect of assessing the SGW beside the boats at different distances from the sailing line (SL) was also studied using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) simulations. The results show that higher energy was created at the shallowest water depth (h=3.6 m). As SGW is propagated from 5 m to 13 m off SL with 12 knots, the wave energy density was reduced by 1687.6 kg/s2 (38 %) for the displacement hull fishing boat and 29.75 kg/s2 (83 %) for the planing hull fishing boat. During the field experiment, it was found that the SGW has the highest energy when the boat and tide condition are in opposite directions. The findings also indicate that in order to minimize river bank damage, the displacement hull fishing boat should not exceed a limiting speed of 4.8 knots during the flooding, slack and ebbing conditions. However, for planing hull fishing boat, the allowable speed is less than 9 knots. The findings can be useful for the fishing boats operators and local authorities to regulate fishing boat traffic in rivers
UPAYA PENINGKATAN PROGRAM PENGENDALIAN VEKTOR MALARIA DI KABUPATEN TRENGGALEK PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR
Efforts of malaria vector control programs in malaria endemic area in Trenggalek East Java Province not been entirely successful. Recently, some areas still Malaria endemic, among others are Watulimo, Dongko, Panggul, Pule, and Munjungan Distric. Endemic area is divided again into eight health centers consist of two categories, namely local indigenous and imported malaria cases. Which included local indigenous cases of malaria are Watulimo, Dongko, Pandean and Munjungan Health Center, while including the area of imported malaria cases are Slawe, Pule, Panggul and Bodag Health Center. This research aims to establish recommendations to an increase in malaria vector control programs. This study is a descriptive observational research and conducted in June-July 2010. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires. Respondents were eight people in charge of malaria health center programs. The strategic issues of research results show that most malaria officers have not received training, all of the logistics of materials and equipment for malaria vector control are not available in health centers, malaria vector control policies about less socialized, less program implementation; only indoor residual spraying (IRS), insecticide treated mosquito nets (ITNs) and oiling, as well as supervision unfavorable. Efforts to improve malaria vector control programs in endemic areas in Trenggalek East Java Province that can be carried out include the training of malaria vector control for malaria worker centers, logistics distribution pengefektivan malaria vector control activities, proposing public policy related to local government malaria vector control program, and increasing the activity and supervision of malaria vector control
