H.M. Rasjidi's View on The Modern Western Civilization
This study aims to discuss the development of Western thought and civilization according to H. M. Rasjidi by revealing its characteristics. This research is qualitative, with descriptive and analytic methods. The results found that modern Western civilization cannot be separated from the thoughts and reflections of their philosophers about the nature of life and the universe as well as their experiences in viewing the history of religion in the West. The system of the theocracy of the church has triggered the emergence of secularism which moves freely from the domination of church doctrine. This understanding was formed from rationalism, the Protestant movement, and humanism. It was from those processes of thought that the West can develop. So today they reject the spiritual values of religion. In the end, religion is undermined and only becomes a private matter. Religion is separated from state affairs, science, morality and serves only as ceremonial matters, such as; a ritual of birth, marriage, and death. In addition, Rasjidi argues that the West rejects absolute truth even though it comes from God. This Western view of life has become one of Rasjidi's special concerns because it has a direct or indirect effect on the lives of Muslims, especially in Indonesia
Time Management Implementation in Forming Student Morals at Pesantren Mahasiswa (Pesma) KH Mas Mansur
This study explores the implementation of the PESMA Class program and its influence on the discipline of students (Mahasantri) at Pesantren Mahasiswa KH Mas Mansur, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Effective organization of time is essential for academic achievement and character development. PESMA KH Mas Mansur upholds a vision to nurture Muhammadiyah cadres who possess sound Islamic beliefs, correct worship practices, noble character, and strong contributions to society goals that are closely aligned with the values of Islamic Religious Education, which emphasize comprehensive personal growth in spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, this research gathers data through interviews, observations, and documentation involving students and PESMA administrators. The findings show that the program helps students establish structured daily routines, cultivate responsibility, and balance both academic and religious commitments. However, challenges such as low motivation, insufficient skills in scheduling, and environmental distractions persist. Therefore, targeted and continuous mentoring is needed to maximize the program’s outcomes.
DEVELOPMENT OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHERS IN THE ERA OF SOCIETY 5.0
The purpose of the research is to be able to provide knowledge for the problem of the Development of Islamic Religious Teachers. The development of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in the Era of Society 5.0 "This research aims to find out the development of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the era of society 5.0 Then to find out what application processes will be carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the 5.0 era. In this research, researchers used qualitative research methods. This research is qualitative because it is conducted to understand the meaning behind a phenomenon that occurs by describing it in the form of words. The main technique in collecting data is a literature study, researchers will search for data in accordance with the discussion regarding the development of Islamic religious education teachers in the era of Society 5.0. The era of society 5.0 is a revolution from the industrial era 4.0 that we have faced today. In the era of society, 5.0 has a different concept from the industrial era 4.0. If the industrial era 4.0 makes AI and artificial intelligence its main components, while society 5.0 uses AI and modern technology, it just makes humans the main component. And if the era of Society 5.0 is applied in the world of education, then teaching staff or teachers here are the main components. Therefore, professional and qualified teachers are needed in order to produce a quality education world in line with the era of Society 5.0. The development of PAI teachers in facing the era of society 5.0 must also be more significant because the result or measure of the success of PAI teachers is the formation of "Insān Kāmil" (Plenary Human)
STRATEGI GURU PAI DALAM MENINGKATKAN HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN PESERTA DIDIK
SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat is an Islamic school that guides its students to memorize the Qur\u27an. Memorizing the Qur\u27an is done to increase students\u27 love and closeness to the Qur\u27an and to achieve the virtues of memorizing the Qur\u27an. To improve the memorization ability of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat, PAI teachers have various efforts including providing motivation to students to have enthusiasm and sincerity in memorizing the Qur\u27an, memorizing the Qur\u27an in class, repeating memorization or muroja\u27ah, collaborating with parents or guardians of students, flash pesantren, and conducting evaluations to determine whether or not there is an increase in students in memorizing the Qur\u27an.
This research was conducted to find out and describe the PAI teacher\u27s strategy in improving students\u27 ability to memorize the Qur\u27an at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat. This research uses qualitative research methods, which seek information about existing symptoms, determine the objectives to be achieved clearly, plan procedures and collect data for reporting. Interviews were conducted with PAI teachers to obtain information about the ways to improve student memorization and the practices carried out. Implementasi Model Kepemimpinan Situasional Kepala Sekolah di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam: Analisis Skema, Capaian dan Hambatan
Determining the right leadership model by the principal will lead the school to the development of quality and service. The purpose of this study was to review the practice of the situational leadership model of the principal at SMP Daarul Quran Surakarta. The research method used is phenomenology-based qualitative with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data exposure and conclusions. The results of the study explain that the situational leadership model of the principal is applied with four schemes, namely: 1) telling, namely the establishment of one-way contact carried out by a superior, namely the principal to his subordinates / partners regarding notification of the details of the division of tasks; 2) selling, namely the existence of two-way contact carried out by a superior, namely the principal to his subordinates / partners regarding the division of tasks; 3) participating, namely the principal includes subordinates / partners in making decrees; 4) Delegating, namely the principal delegates authority to subordinates who have sufficient competence to complete certain tasks. The applied situational leadership is successful in improving the quality of education, although there are some obstacles, namely the motivation of subordinates to follow orders is still low, understanding of leadership is still not optimal
School Program Innovation in Boosting Student Moral Values and Achievement
This study aims to explore the teacher's role in instilling students' moral values at SMA MTA Surakarta, school programs at SMA MTA Surakarta, which include intracurricular and extracurricular programs, and school program innovations to improve morale, values and achievement. This study uses phenomenological research with qualitative data analysis techniques. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis in transcription, coding, categorization, description and interpretation. The study results show that teachers play a role in inculcating students' moral values. Furthermore, various school programs at SMA MTA Surakarta support students' potential, and there are school program innovations that aim to improve the quality of waste and schools. Apart from that, teacher inconsistencies were found in one of the program innovation schools, which became an obstacle for teachers and students because they were considered inefficient in teaching and learning activities.
UPAYA SEKOLAH DALAM MEMBINA AKHLAK PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 7 PROGRAM UNGGULAN COLOMADU
The principal is a leader in an institution, namely a school, who has full responsibility for the school he leads. One of these responsibilities is to ensure that every student does righteous deeds, in accordance with Islamic values. This study aims to look at the principal\u27s efforts to cultivate morals at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu Superior Program, in this case, the teacher is always a good example for students so that students are inspired by the akhlakul kharimah that is exemplified.
The method used in this research is through data collection techniques and interviews, which are conducted using a phenomenological qualitative approach. The object of this research is the principal, teachers, and students at the junior high school. The sources used are data from data collection and interviews. The results of this study can be seen that the principal\u27s efforts to foster the morals of students are by creating programs, such as internship programs, specialization classes, joint dhuha prayers, murotal activities together before learning activities, and before asr prayers, Sunday morning congregation activities every two months, and tahfidz quarantine., besides that, it also provides good examples related to morals to students and gives advice to students related to morals

Islam and Modernisme di Indonesia: Kontribusi Pemikiran Mohammad Rasjidi (1915-2001)
AbstractSince Indonesia gained its independence in 1945, several Indonesian scholars have attempted to build and re-develop various aspects of developmental fields including education, economy, and society. In developing a country with the world's largest Muslim-majority population, one of their main concern is the revival of Islamic thought at Islamic higher institutions in Indonesia. This revival of thought involves re-interpreting important elements of Islamic thought based upon the secular, Western and modern way of thinking. This effort, known as the modernization of Islamic thought, has led to severe confusion and misunderstanding. Mohammad Rasjidi employed the framework of ahl al-sunnah wa al-jamÄ‘ah to criticize and subsequently reject secularisation as a philosophical program which was used as the foundation for the modernization of Islamic thought. This paper elaborates the significant roles of Mohammad Rasjidi’s thoughts and contributions in correcting and re-affirming the fundamental principles of Islam, specifically concerning the nature of man, the nature of human reason, the nature of morality and the understanding of the state, all of which conforms with the Worldview of Islam.Keywords: Mohammad Rasjidi, Islam and Modernism; the nature of nan; revelation, reason, morality, state.AbstrakSetelah Indonesia meraih kemerdekaan pada tahun 1945, beberapa cendekiawan di Indonesia mencoba untuk membina dan membangun kembali dalam perbagai bidang pembangunan termasuk pendidikan, ekonomi dan sosial. Dalam suasana negara yang sedang membangun dengan penduduk mayoritas Muslim terbesar di dunia, salah satu aspek yang menjadi tumpuan ialah pembaharuan pemikiran Islam di pendidikan tinggi Islam Indonesia. Pembaharuan pemikiran ini melibatkan penguraian kembali tentang unsur penting pemikiran Islam dengan cara berfikir modern Barat yang sekuler. Upaya ini dinamakan sebagai modernisasi pemikiran Islam yang mengakibatkan kekeliruan dan kesilapan pemahaman. Rasjidi menggunakan kerangka ahl al-sunnah wa al-jamÄ’ah dalam membahas sekularisasi sebagai program filsafat yang dijadikan sebagai asas modernisasi pemikiran Islam. Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Menangani Kasus Juvenile Delinquency
This research leads to cases of juvenile delinquency (Juvenile Delinquency) which became the beginning of the crime. This study discusses the formulation of the problem (1) Analyzing the perspective of PAI teachers on Juvenile Delinquency cases, (2) Strategies carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in dealing with Juvenile Delinquency cases, (3) The flow of handling carried out by PAI teachers in involving homeroom teachers, counseling teachers , and parents of students in dealing with Juvenile Delinquency cases. This research is a qualitative research that uses descriptive analytic data with the object of teachers and students at SMK Negeri 4 Klaten, the data obtained shows that the causes of juvenile delinquency occur from family, education, and the social environment. Thus the PAI teacher's strategy is to instill motivation and religiosity or Islamic values in students to strengthen their faith in dealing with juvenile delinquency cases, namely creating pleasant classroom conditions without tension, providing intensive scope factors, providing relevant character development outside of study hours. , and engage in mediation and monitoring with homeroom teachers, parents, students, and other teachers
