Pengaruh bohasi sampah pasar dan jenis media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada merah (red lettuce L.) varietas new red fire

Produksi selada merah belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, bahkan produksi cenderung menurun setiap tahun akbiat dari terjadinya penurunan kesuburan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaks antara bohasi sampah pasar dan jenis media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada merah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Rancaekek Wetan Kecamatan Rancaekek Kabupaten Bandung dari Maret sampai Mei 2018. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah bohasi sampah pasar dengan taraf perlakuan: (1) 0 t ha-1, (2) 15 t ha-1, (3) 30 t ha-1, (4) 40 t ha-1, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah media tanam dengan taraf perlakuan: (1) Tanah, (2) Arang Sekam, (3) Cocopeat. Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, luas daun, berat basah, berat kering, nisbah pupus akar.
Hasil Penelitan menunjukan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antara bohasi sampah pasar dan jenis media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada merah (Red Lettuce L.) Varietas New red fire. Secara mandiri media tanah (m1) berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot segar brangkasan, bobot kering brangkasan, dan nisbah pupus akar tanaman
Visualization for UiTM timetable generation system using timetable JavaScript Plugin / Muhammad Faisal Norsham
This dissertation is motivated to develop an application that helps students manage and visualize their class schedule. By beginning a brief discussion related to timetable and class schedule, this study will expand the foundation for developing a functional and acceptable system that is capable of generating timetable based on a specific student’s class schedule. The first objective would be to design and develop a web application called Timetable Generation System. The second objective is to evaluate the functionality and user acceptance towards the said system. The system’s significance could ease the process of finding and arrange the student’s class schedule in a timetable which will dramatically reduce the time it takes for students to prepare their class schedule timetable every semester. Literature review will be discussed in various topics from class schedule timetabling to web application development. Three related works are included to analyse the related problems of the previous work done by other researchers and study the methods and approaches they used in developing their system. The methodology will discuss the SDLC approach in developing the project. The project development consists of four phases; analysis, design, development and testing. The system was evaluated using functional testing and User Acceptance Test. The tests were conducted in order to verify the system meet user requirements and users accept the developed system respectively. The author may improve the Timetable Generation System in the future by implementing a fully automatic application that require less input from users as well as developing a mobile platform version of the application. There is also a potential study to design and develop the same application but for examination schedule instead

Analysis Socioeconomic Influence on the Utilization of Health Service in the Inpatient Room of Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar
Hospitals in carrying out their role cannot be separated from problems, both from within and from outside that can interfere with the mechanism of work of the hospital in providing health services for the community. Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar is one of the private hospitals in the city of Makassar which in the last 3 years has decreased the value of BOR. The purpose of this study was to find out the socio-economic influence on the utilization of health services in the inpatient room of Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar. This research is a cross-sectional study. A total of 99 people were sampled in the inpatient room of Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar by taking a sample using the purposive sampling method. Data is collected by conducting interviews with respondents. Data processing is done by frequency distribution analysis and univariate and multivariate analysis with the Binary Regression approach namely logit and probit analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that socioeconomic variables that have an influence on the utilization of health services in the Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar is the ownership of health insurance with the results of p-value< 0.1 is logit 0.299 and probit of 0.000. For the government to evaluate the ownership of health insurance, because there are still respondents who do not have health insurance where this is not in accordance with the objectives of the National Health Insurance program
Emerging Links Between Ferroptosis and Neurodegeneration: Implications for Disease Mechanisms and Nutraceutical Interventions
A relatively recently identified type of controlled cell death termed ‘ferroptosis’ is driven by iron and characterized by reactive oxygen species (ROS) buildup and lipid peroxidation. This review explores the complex mechanisms underpinning ferroptosis and its potential effects on the onset and development of neurodegenerative diseases. The impact of lipid peroxides, glutathione/glutathione peroxidase 4 (GSH/GPX4), and iron metabolism-targeting small molecule inhibitors and the involvement of nucleic acids, proteins, and phytochemicals as inhibitors of ferroptosis will be discussed. Additionally, we explore the potential of ferroptosis as a therapeutic target for managing neurodegenerative disorders and address the challenges faced in clinical translation. The emerging research on novel drug delivery approaches and nanomaterial-based strategies for efficient ferroptosis inhibition is also described. In conclusion, this review provides a detailed overview of the complex landscape of ferroptosis, providing insights into its molecular mechanisms, inhibitors, and potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the multifaceted role of ferroptosis in disease pathogenesis will pave the way for developing innovative interventions to harness its therapeutic potential in various neurological conditions
Efek Ekstrak Daun Torbangun (Coleus amboinicus Lour) terhadap Ekspresi Gen Pengatur Homeostasis Glukosa pada Tikus Hiperglikemia.
Salah satu jenis gangguan metabolisme banyak dijumpai adalah diabetes mellitus (DM). Gangguan ini merupakan kondisi hiperglikemia kronis yang disebabkan oleh berkurangnya produksi atau kerja insulin. Gejala yang umum terjadi abnormalitas dalam metabolisme karbohidrat, lemak, dan protein sebagai akibat adanya gangguan pada sekresi insulin, sensitivitas terhadap insulin, atau keduanya. Torbangun (Coleus amboinicus Lour) telah dilaporkan mampu menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada tikus percobaan namun mekanismenya secara molekuler belum diketahui. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari efek ekstrak daun Torbangun terhadap ekspresi gen pengatur homeostasis glukosa pada tikus hiperglikemia.
Tahapan penelitian meliputi penanaman Torbangun, pemanenan, dan pengeringan daun Torbangun. Tahap berikutnya adalah analisis kadar air simplisia, analisis kandungan total flavonoid ekstrak daun Torbangun, pengukuran aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak daun Torbangun, dan uji pada hewan untuk menganalisis efek pemberian ekstrak terhadap kadar glukosa darah, kadar insulin serum, antioksidan enzimatis, sel- pankreas, kadar glikogen hati dan otot, serta analisis efek ekstrak daun Torbangun terhadap ekspresi gen homeostasis glukosa.
Rancangan percobaan pada hewan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Tikus yang dipilih adalah tikus normal dewasa Sprague Dawley berumur delapan minggu sebanyak 25 ekor. Tujuh ekor tikus dipisahkan sebagai kelompok normal (N) dan tikus lainnya diinjeksi streptozotocin (STZ). Konfirmasi hiperglikemia terjadi pada hari ke tiga pasca induksi, ditandai dengan glukosa darah puasa (GDP) >126 mg/dl. Tikus hiperglikemia dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu H-IM (kontrol obat metformin hidroklorida dosis 62.5 mg/kg BB), H-IT (ekstrak daun Torbangun dosis 620 mm/kg BB), dan kelompok NG (kontrol negatif). Tikus coba diberikan intervensi selama 14 hari dan sediaan diberikan melalui oral. Pengukuran kadar glukosa darah dan penimbangan dilakukan pada hari ke- 0, 1, 4, 7, 10, 14 pasca induksi STZ. Nekropsi dilaksanakan pada hari ke-15 untuk selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran serum insulin, aktivitas antioksidan enzimatis (SOD, CAT, dan GPx), histopatologi pankreas, glikogen hati, glikogen otot, dan ekspresi gen PEPCK, G6Pase, dan GLUT4. Data hasil pengukuran parameter yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji beda-t untuk melihat perbedaan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, serta sidik ragam (ANOVA) pada selang kepercayaan 99% untuk melihat ada tidaknya pengaruh perlakuan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rendemen simplisia daun Torbangun pada penelitian ini adalah sebesar 7.99±0.55%. Ekstraksi daun Torbangun menghasilkan rendemen sebesar 4.69% dengan kandungan total flavonoid 3.91±0.00%, dan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan 306.28±0.087 ppm/1ppm vitamin C. Uji pada hewan membuktikan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun Torbangun sebanyak 620 mg/kgBB pada kelompok H-IT secara signifikan mampu menurunkan kadar glukosa darah tikus dari 155.83±96 ke 105.17±5.043 (p=0.005, =0.01) dan
meningkatkan deposit glikogen hati (p=0.001, =0.01) serta secara nyata (p=0.000, =0.01) menstimulasi peningkatan produksi insulin hampir sama efektifnya dengan metformin dengan dosis 62.5 mg/kgBB. Pemberian ekstrak daun Torbangun pada kelompok H-IT tidak signifikan mempengaruhi penurunan pada sel-α, tetapi menunjukkan adanya perbaikan sel-β. Terjadi peningkatan aktivitas antioksidan enzimatis SOD dan GPx, namun terjadi penurunan pada aktivitas CAT pada kelompok yang dilakukan pemberian ekstrak daun Torbangun. Hasil analisis ekspresi gen menunjukkan bahwa kelompok H-IT menunjukkan penurunan ekspresi gen PEPCK sebesar 0.80 kali dan G6Pase sebesar 0.65 kali dibanding kelompok NG. Di sisi lain, terjadi peningkatan ekspresi gen GLUT4 sebesar 1.58 kali dibandingkankan kelompok NG.
Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun Torbangun mampu memberi efek pada peningkatan aktivitas antioksidan enzimatis SOD dan GPx; penurunan antioksidan CAT; peningkatan produksi insulin; peningkatan deposit glikogen; perbaikan sel-β pankreas; penurunan kadar glukosa darah; serta terlibat dalam mekanisme penghambatan ekspresi gen PEPCK dan G6Pase; dan peningkatan ekspresi gen GLUT4.
Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengonfirmasi manfaat ekstrak daun Torbangun dalam peningkatan efisiensi kerja insulin penderita DM. Selain itu, perlu juga dilakukan analisis protein yang dihasilkan untuk mengonfirmasi data ekspresi gen pada tingkat transkripsi yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini. Selanjutnya, dapat dilakukan riset lebih jauh untuk menguji manfaat Torbangun sebagai pencegahan dan pengendalian DM dengan studi klinis pemberian daun Torbangun dalam bentuk produk pangan fungsional kepada pasien DM

Abstract
The main objectives of this study are to describe the development design of the Augmented Reality (AR) based Anatomy web-based assessment, to describe the implementation of the Augmented Reality (AR) based Anatomy web-based assessment development, and to describe the teacher's response to the use of Augmented Reality (AR) based Anatomy web-based assessment. The research was conducted at the State University of Medan. This web-based assessment development design is based on the Borg & Gall research and development (R&D) stage pattern as adopted by Sugiyono. As for the product design model, this web-based assessment follows the ASSURE model. The results of this study indicate that the product developed, namely web-based assessment, has gone through design and testing and revision, so the product is declared suitable for use. Students also gave a good response, namely 92% of the use of the web as an assessment tool equipped with Augmented Reality (AR)-based animation.

Globalisation, information, and communication technology have changed human communication. The internet gave birth to social media and a new communication trend. Digital, such as computer-mediated, communication replaces traditional communication. Face-to-face communication can now be done via social media, which blurs space and time. Anwar Ibrahim regularly uses Twitter to engage with residents, show his actions, and express his attitude, commitment, and government vision. Politicians must adjust to social media's power. This study uses Nvivo 12 Pro for social media analysis.
