    Abstrak          Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara afiksasi, dan pemahaman kosakata terhadap kemampuan menulis kalimat tunggal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Periuk 1 Kota Tangerang, Provinsi Banten tahun akademik 2012/2013 di semester kedua. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang, yang diambil secara acak (random sampling). Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan survey. Adapun hasil penelitian ini meliputi: 1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penguasaan affiksasi terhadap kompetensi menulis kalimat tunggal; 2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penguasaan kosakata terhadap kompetensi menulis kalimat tunggal; 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penguasaan tata bahasa dan penguasaan kosakata terhadap kompetensi menulis kalimat tunggal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi menulis kalimat tunggal dapat dilakukan penguasaan affiksasi dan penguasaan kosakata.   Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Afiksasi, Penguasaan Kosakata, Kompetensi Menulis Kalimat Tungga

    Salah satu fungsi guru kelas adalah sebagai pembimbing, fungsi tersebut perlu dipahami dan dimaksimalkan oleh guru kelas, terutama jika melihat semakin beragamnya permaslahan siswa. SD Xaverius 7 Palembang merupakan sekolah yang pernah mendapatkan workshop mengenai implementasi layanan BK di SD, oleh karena itu perlu disurvey bagaimana pemahaman guru kelas dalam menjalankan fungsi sebagai pembimbing. Penelitian survey dilakukan terhadap guru kelas 4, 5, dan 6 SD Xaverius 7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru kelas memiliki pemahaman yang tinggi dalam menjalan kan pemahaman terhadap peserta didik, yaitu 70%. Sementara itu guru kelas masih kebingungan dalam merancang rencana operasional yang terintergrasi dengan materi pada RPP, melakukan konseling, dan mengembangkan media. Penelitian merekomendasikan sekolah untuk memaksimalkan kolaborasi dalam pengembangan materi, serta memaksimalkan komunikasi antara guru kelas dengan orang tua melalui perangkat teknologi sebagai bagian dalam pengentasan masalah

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari metode CTL teknik Problem Based Learning dan metode CTL teknik Problem Posing serta kemampuan berpikir logis terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 114 Palembang, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 32 orang.Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain treatment by level 2 x 2.Teknik analisis data adalah analisis varians dua jalur (ANAVA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok yang diberikan metode CTL teknik Problem Based Learning dan kelompok yang diberikan metode CTL teknik Problem Posing (2) Terdapat interaksi antara metode CTL dan kemampuan berpikir logis terhadap hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci: Metode CTL Teknik Problem Based Learning dan Metode CTL Teknik   Problem Posing, Kemampuan Berpikir Logis, Hasil Belajar IPA

    Data-driven methodologies for decision making in engineering design

    In the product development process, customer needs are essential to develop the product concepts. These concepts are crucial because the subsequent stages in the process are dependent on the selected concepts. Customer needs are conventionally gathered via survey-based methods, which may require extensive cost to conduct. Along with the massive growth of internet, an alternative to those survey-based methods emerges. Customer needs, as well as other insights about the customers, may be inferred from the opinions, feedbacks, or expectations that customers express in various online channels including online customer reviews. However, the volume and the generating velocity of the online customer review data surpass people's ability to analyze them in a reasonable time. Therefore, in order to utilize online reviews for supporting product designers in decision making, this work proposes methodologies that utilize Natural Language Processing tools, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models. In particular, the methodologies are proposed to support product designers in three specific aspects. First, a methodology is proposed to automatically identify product features that are discussed in the customer reviews as well as their corresponding sentiments. The particular product features that are significantly related to sales rank should become the focus of product designers when considering improvements of the existing product. Second, a novel approach to constructing the choice sets in the absence of both socio-demographic and the actual choice set data is proposed. The choice models that use the proposed choice sets are shown to have better predictive ability than the baseline, i.e., using random choice sets. The choice models with higher predictive ability are useful for product designers to perform demand estimation more accurately. Finally, a methodology is proposed to automatically identify product usage contexts from online customer reviews. Understanding the actual usage contexts is important because it may explain the differences in customer needs, the required design targets, and product preferences. In this work, the identified usage contexts are further complemented by their corresponding aspect sentiments.     This study aims to determine the effect of using crossword puzzle media on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Mulyaguna in Indonesian language learning. The background of this research is based on the low critical thinking ability of students, as seen from their difficulty in understanding and analyzing expository texts. This study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: an experimental class using crossword puzzle media and a control class using conventional methods. Data were collected through essay tests based on critical thinking indicators. The data analysis results showed a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control classes. The experimental class achieved an average score of 81.6, while the control class scored an average of 52.6. Thus, the average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The use of crossword puzzle media has proven to positively influence the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, crossword puzzles can serve as an innovative alternative to enhance the quality of Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. &nbsp

    Penelitian dilakukan untuk menemukan pola implementasi dari pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di SD Xaverius 7, khususnya dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah collaborative action research, yaitu peneliti beserta guru berkolaborasi dalam pelaksanaan laynan bk yang terintegrasi dengan PBM. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) layanan bimbingan dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan berbagai bentuk permainan yang dilakukan sebelum / sesudah pembelajaran, 2) Jurnal harian siswa (mencatat dan menilai kegiatan harian siswa) dilakukan sebagai strategi manajemen kelas dalam mengembangkan kemandirian, 3) Layanan Konseling tetap harus dilakukan oleh Konselor profesional. Setelah implementasi, taraf kemandirian berada pada kategori inisiatif. Kunci keberhasilan dari layanan bimbingan ialah kemampuan guru dalam membangun dialog interaktif selama permaianan maupun evaluasi jurnal harian (catatan kegiatan siswa).

    The influence of appropriate learning methods will affect student learning outcomes and attitudes, especially in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine the effect of the drill method on learning outcomes and students' interest in learning mathematics at SD Negeri 2 Cengal. The population is 492 students, with a sample of 60 students from classes III—a and III.B. The research method used is the Quasi-Experimental Design Method with the Posttest-Only Control Group Design type. The data collection techniques used were only tests and questionnaires. While the process used to analyse the data is MANOVA (Multiple Analysis Of Variances). This study’s results indicate a significant effect of the drill method on learning outcomes and students' interest in learning mathematics simultaneously. In addition, there is a significant correlation between learning outcomes and learning interest so that learning becomes active.
