Get PDFThis paper discusses the urgency of reconstructing idea on the formalization of Islamic sharia and the future of Indonesia. Formalization of Islamic law which is proposed by Islamic fundamentalist group as the solution of the various problems faced by the people living in the nation-state context needed should be contextualized with the reality of Indonesia as the plural country. By using critical analysis approach on the various argument of the fundamentalist group, which then contextualize with the reality of diversity in Indonesia, revealed that formalization of Islamic sharia is not a solution. Khilafah system will not be able to be forced to be implemented in Indonesia. Interpretation of the text about politics and government must be taken serious attention to be reviewed. In the history of the implementation of Islamic government and Islamic ideology as implemented by the Prophet Muhammad PbUH in Arab is really different with the Indonesian background which is plural. </jats:p

It is not uncommon for the debate to arise in conflict at the epistemological level, even at the level of axiology. But actually, both of them have similar points that cannot be denied by each other. This article will describe Sunni-Shi'a historical sources in fiqh issues, sources used by both and what are the legal products produced through these sources. By comparing between Jurisprudence of Ja'fari (Syiah) and Hanafi (Sunni), this paper tries to find Sunni-Shia meeting points in the matter of its Shari'a.
Perdebatan seputar Sunni dan Syiah, selain dalam persoalan kepemimpinan pasca Rasulullah, juga dalam persoalan hukum syariat antar keduanya. Tidak jarang perdebatan tersebut memunculkan pertikaian baik dalam tataran epistemologi, bahkan pada tingkat aksiologi. REAKTUALISASI DAKWAH WALI SONGO: GERAK DAKWAH KH SAID AQIL SIROJ DALAM MENEBAR ISLAM RAḤMATAL LIL ĀLAMIN

The hoax issues were made into a spear to 'legalize' the da'wah which he regarded as a very noble teaching. Because the meaning of such da'wah, as a result Islam is often blamed as a religion of terrorism. In the other, there is also a group of people who are afraid of Islam (Islamophobia). This is where the need to reconstruct da'wah models that seem radical. KH. Said Aqil Siroj, a national religious figure who now occupies the chair position of the Chairman of PBNU, has a distinctive model and movement of da'wah as actualized by Wali Songo when spreading Islam. The re-actualization of Wali Songo's teachings is echoed by KH. Said Aqil Siroj through persuasive approach, not force, keep the traditions, persistence of da'wah and reconstruct the meaning of Ahlussunah Wal Jama'ah as social values. Such a form of dakwah proved to have a devastating effect on the growth of Islamic values rahmatal lil 'alamin.Keywords: Wali Songo, KH. Dakwah di era modern sekarang, tidak sedikit diaktualisasikan dengan cara-cara memaksa, bahkan sampai dengan menebar kebencian dan kekasaran. Isu-isu hoax dijadikan tombak untuk ‘melegalkan’ dakwah yang dianggapnya sebagai ajaran yang sangat mulia. Karena pemaknaan dakwah yang demikian, akibatnya Islam sering dituding sebagai agama terorisme. Selain itu, muncul juga sekelompok orang yang takut akan Islam (Islamophobia). Di sinilah perlunya merekontruksi model-model dakwah yang terkesan radikal. KH. Said Aqil Siroj, tokoh agama Nasional yang kini menduduki kursi jabatan Ketua Umum PBNU, memiliki model dan gerak dakwah yang khas sebagaimana diaktualisasikan oleh Wali Songo ketika menyebarkan agama Islam. Reaktualisasi ajaran Wali Songo digemakan kembali oleh KH. Said Aqil Siroj melalui pendekatan persuasif, tidak memaksa, menjaga tradisi-budaya, kegigihan berdakwah dan merekonstruksi pemaknaan Ahlussunah Wal Jama’ah sebagai nilai-nilai sosial. This article will elaborate the underlying reason that the Tafsir Al-Mishbah was written, its method and style, and examine the aspects and characteristic of Tafsir Al-Mishbah—which may be absent in other interpretations—such as aspects of locality, textuality, rationality, and diversity of references. This paper also examines general strengths in the Tafsir Al-Mishbah and its shortcomings.Abstrak: Beragam tafsir al-Quran lahir di bumi Nusantara. Tafsir Al-Mishbah adalah tafsir nusantara yang berbeda dengan tafsir-tafsir nusantara sebelumnya. Get PDFDiscrimination against women, both in the social sphere and in the teaching source literature, still occurs in many places. This has an impact on gender inequality in the community, even in Islamic boarding schools. The Al-Mar'ah Bayna Asna-Syarah Wa Al-Ḥaya Study Program is present at the Fahmina Cirebon Foundation to foster a more progressive gender awareness. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using three ways in data collection, namely observation, interviews and documentation. This research shows that the program that is raised by KH. Hussein Muhammad as the speaker of book study was quite successful. The study of the book Al-Marah bayna Asy-Syarah Wal Ḥaya can foster gender fair awareness of female students. ¬The number of women present is more dominant than men. From the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, it can be seen the results of female students' catch ability, namely by asking questions, criticizing and understanding the gender material delivered. In the affective domain, female students benefit from the study of the book. Whereas in the psychomotor domain, there are female students who apply gender awareness by socializing lessons about gender
