Research on the Composite Performance of Aluminum Alloy Plate and Concrete-Based Material
The effects of 1061, 6061, and AZ31B alloy plates on the apparent properties of sleeve grouting material, the corrosion of concrete on fluorocarbon aluminum alloy plates, and the influence of fluorocarbon aluminum alloy plates on concrete’s strength and carbonization properties were studied. The deformation between the fluorocarbon aluminum alloy plate and the concrete was theoretically analyzed. The results show that there is no obvious corrosion of concrete with the aluminum alloy plate coated with fluorocarbon paint within a certain period of time. After the concrete is covered with the fluorocarbon aluminum alloy plate, there is a hydration space that is not affected by the outside world, and its compressive strength and anti-carbonization performance are further improved. When aluminum alloy plates are used for composite concrete in areas with higher temperatures, anchoring measures should be used to disperse the temperature expansion stress between the aluminum alloy plates and the hardened concrete
Transparent, Conductive, and Flexible Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube/Graphene Hybrid Electrodes with Two Three-Dimensional Microstructures
Transparent, conductive, and flexible multiwalled carbon
nanotube
(MWCNT)/graphene hybrids with two three-dimensional microstructuresan
interconnected network and a double-layer structurewere prepared.
The conductivity and performance of MWCNT/graphene films can be controlled
by different microstructures. A photoswitch using a layered heterostructure
of a CdTe quantum dot on an interconnected MWCNT/graphene (IN-MWCNT/graphene)
electrode shows an enhanced reversible photocurrent with a higher
on/off ratio than that of double-layer structures (DL-MWCNT/graphene).
Electrochemical capacitors using a IN-MWCNT/graphene network also
exhibit an outstanding rate capability and good cycling stability
due to a large surface area and high porosity. Results indicate that
the IN-MWCNT/graphene hybrid with porous structures and strong π-interaction
is an excellent conductive network for multifunctional flexible devices.

by the improved interface and microstructures

IntroductionAntineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) is relatively rare in children. This article aimed to analyze clinical and renal histology findings and different responses to induction treatment associated with the long-term renal outcomes in children with AAV in a single center.MethodsAll pediatric patients with AAV admitted to Tongji Hospital from January 2002 to January 2021 were included in the study. The demographic, clinical, pathological, laboratory, and treatment data and outcomes were collected and analyzed to identify predictors associated with response to induction treatment and progression to end-stage renal disease (ESRD).ResultsIn total, 48 children with AAV were included in this cohort; 81.25% of them were women, and 91.7% were microscopic polyangiitis (MPA). Kidney involvement was found in 45 patients (93.75%). The most common histopathological subtype was crescentic form in this cohort according to Berden’s classification. In total, 34 patients (70.8%) showed eGFR 2 at the time of diagnosis. Complete and partial remission was achieved in 8 patients (16.7%) and 19 patients (39.6%), respectively, following 6-month induction treatment. Half of the patients eventually progressed to ESRD at a mean time of (13.04 ± 15.83) months after diagnosis. The independent predictors of nonremission following induction treatment and progression to ESRD were baseline eGFR 2 and hypertension at diagnosis. Renal survival significantly decreased over time in patients with renal sclerotic subtypes or those with nonremission following induction treatment by Kaplan–Meier curve estimation.ConclusionsOur study demonstrates that women, MPA, and crescentic subtypes are predominant in pediatric AAV in China. Initial renal failure (eGFR 2), hypertension, sclerotic pathological subtype, and nonremission following induction treatment are predictive of long-term renal outcomes.</p

Validation of the Polish version of the Movement Disorder Society Non-motor Rating Scale (MDS-NMS)
Aim of the study: We aimed to translate and validate the Polish version of the MDS-NMS and compare it with the original English version.
Clinical rationale for the study: Non-motor symptoms (NMS) affect a significant portion of the Parkinson\u27s disease (PD) patient population and may negatively impact their quality of life. Non-motor symptoms may contribute to an increased sense of illness among patients and to a greater burden upon their caregivers. It is therefore advisable to develop a Polish validation of a reference scale for diagnosing and assessing the severity of NMS.
Material and methods: The MDS-NMS was translated into Polish by a third-party translation company experienced in the translation of rating scales and reviewed by the Polish Translation Validation Leader (JS). Following several rounds of review, the final translation received the approval of the MDS Translation Steering Committee for its use in Cognitive Pre-testing. The translated version of the MDS-NMS then underwent Cognitive Pre-testing, and the translation was subsequently modified based on the results. The approved version was considered to be the Official Working Document of the Polish MDS-NMS and was tested on 307 Polish PD patients recruited at movement disorder centers. Confirmatory and explanatory factor analyses were applied to determine whether the factor structure of the English version could be confirmed in the Polish version.
Results: The overall factor structure of the Polish version was fairly consistent with that of the English version based on the high CFIs for all 14 subscales of the MDS-NMS in the confirmatory factor analysis (CFI ≥ 0.90). The Polish MDS-NMS was confirmed to share a common factor structure with the original English version.
Conclusions: The availability of the Polish validation of the MDS-NMS scale will facilitate Polish research centers\u27 participation in multi-center trials and clinical studies. Moreover, it will enable individual Polish researchers to compare their results collected on Polish PD patients more easily and confidently with those available worldwide. We are also convinced that the Polish version of MDS-NMS will prove useful in everyday clinical practice, facilitating the easier and more effective identification of NMS-related problems and the assessment of their severity
