The 'Abiku-Soul' Regurgitation in Cyprain Ekwensi's Iska Narrative
No full textCyprian Ekwensi’s Iska is implanted with significant layers of symbolism which engender an elevated estimation of his craft within Nigerian/African literature. It is quite symbolic that the protagonist, Filia Enu who is invested with Ogbanje, obtains a more positive portraiture of sexism and a determined feminist patronage than was achieved in his earlier novels with the protagonists in Jagua Nana and Jagua Nana’s Daughter. It is even more symbolic that the author rejuvenates the Ogbanje/Abiku myth in a satirized re-creation of the socio-political conflicts in the Nigerian geographical space. In this emblematic re-enactment of mythology, Ekwensi certifies the potentials of the oral tradition with its capacity to yield meaning and identity to contemporary events. The Iska narrative is not only deemed to regurgitate certain paradoxical submissions at the cradle of modern African literature, it also mediates the ensuing conflicts which tended more towards invalidating the significance of magical realism employed by the early African writers. It is within such episteme that this discourse interrogates how regions in the Nigerian society, as locale are involved as worlds whose spatial (re)presentation instigates shades of philosophies on the Abiku reality
Identifikasi Kematangan Cabai Rawit Menggunakan Metode Momen Warna Dan SVM
No full textThis study focuses on the identification of the ripeness of bird's eye chili (Capsicum annuum L.) using the color moment method and Support vector machine (SVM). Bird's eye chili holds significant economic value in the agricultural industry, but the rapid and accurate identification of ripeness remains a challenge. The color moment method is employed to extract features from images of bird's eye chili, while SVM is used for classification based on the extracted features. This research expands the use of data and optimizes SVM parameters to enhance the accuracy of identification. The results indicate that the classification model using the SVM method successfully classifies the ripeness levels of chili with an accuracy of 82%, categorized as good. Specifically, it achieved a precision of 66.67%, recall of 83.33%, and F-measure of 74.07% for the "ripe" category. The "unripe" category achieved perfect precision and recall, both at 100%, with an F-measure of 100%. Meanwhile, the "half-ripe" category achieved a precision of 80.00%, recall of 77.42%, and F-measure of 78.73%. However, some misclassifications were attributed to color dominance issues in certain images. Therefore, this study contributes to the development of more accurate and efficient techniques for chili ripeness identification. Recommendations for future research involve further evaluation with a broader test dataset, improvements in classification methods, and the consideration of additional features to enhance classification accuracy. Permasalahan klasik di sekolah atau pondok pesantren adalah uang saku siswa yang belum bisa dikelola dengan baik, seringnya kasus kehilangan uang, kesenjangan sosial, penggunaan uang cash yang tidak terkontrol atau sering disalahgunakan, Serta resiko penularan virus melalui transaksi uang cash disaat pandemic.
Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka kami melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berupa “Sosialisasi dan Implementasi Kartu Jajan di Kantin MTSN 5 Kab Kediri sebagai Media Digitalisasi Sekolah.†Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan model pengembangan instruksional, seperti observasi langsung; pelatihan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan meliputi: Presentasi, wawancara, dokumentasi serta forum diskusi kelompok. Luaran yang dicapai adalah memberikan tambahan wawasan dan Penerapan Kartu Jajan Digital berbasis mobile sebagai Media Digitalisasi Sekolah sehingga dapat menguatkan reputasi Sekolah dalam implementasi Smart School berbasis teknologi di era teknologi digital.

Di sebuah perusahaan atau pemerintahan pasti mempunyai website untuk sebagai sarana informasi tentang suatu perusahaan atau pemerintahan seperti BPRD. Terdapat permasalah mengenai informasi mengenai UPT yang BPRD hal ini menyebabkan banyak masyarakat yang kurang mengerti mengenai pajak. Oleh karena itu, penulis membuat sebuah projek yaitu rancangan website untuk UPT BPRD wilker Yosowilangun. Diharapkan rancangan ini dapat di implementasi sebagai website resmi UPT Yosowilangun. Website digunakan untuk menampilkan informasi mengenai UPT Yosowilangun. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan pengembangan metode waterfall. Metode waterfall merupakan model pengembangan sistem informasi yang sistematik dan sekuensial . Pada proses perancangan website menggunakan uml yaitu class diagram dan mock-up. Kesimpulan rancangan website ini digunakan untuk informasi mengenai UPT BPRD wilker Yosowilangun.Tujuannya diharapkan rancangan ini dapat di implementasi sebagai website resmi UPT Yosowilangun. Website digunakan untuk menampilkan informasi mengenai UPT Yosowilangun. Dan dapat membantu masyarakat untuk mencari informasi mengenai UPT Yosowilangun.

Get PDFTenun Ikat Bandar Kediri adalah salah satu jenis batik berupa kain yang ditenun dan diberi suatu pola dan motif pada teksturnya menggunakan suatu mesin tenun kayu tradisional. Pola dan motif pada batik tenun ikat sangat bervariasi tergantung pada rumah produksinya. Biasanya setiap rimah produksi memiliki suatu ciri khas khusus pada pola dan motifnya. Banyaknya pola dan motif tersebut akan menjadikan masyarakat sulit mengenali dan mempelajari ciri visual Tenun Ikat tersebut sehingga bila ada suatu sistem yang mempelajari pola dan motif tersebut maka akan sangat membantu masyarakat. Sistem klasifikasi yang dibuat pada penelitian ini mengimplementasikan algoritma Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dengan ekstraksi tekstur Tenun menggunakan fitur Gray Level Cooccurence Matrix (GLCM) dan ekstraksi warna menggunakan fitur Color Co-occourrence Matrix (CCM). Pada penelitian ini menggunakan dataset sebanyak 125 citra gambar dari 5 motif batik pada suatu rumah produksi tenun ikat dengan proporsi setiap pola yang seimbang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata akurasi dari setiap pengujian mencapai angka 0,94, ini menunjukkan bahwa metode yang dimaksudkan telah dapat melakukan klasifikasi dengan baik

No full textThe inviting program innovation is one of the new breakthroughs used by
the Civil Registration and Population Service to support the acceleration of
administration. However, there are still obstacles to the acceleration of
administrative services in Humbang Hasundutan district, ranging from the
problem of delayed services, the lack of public awareness of the importance of the
documentation, the distance of access to the service center is quite far, the
majority of jobs, and the still being found calo in the service. The Civil
Registration and Occupation Service is the authorized agency to address
problems in the administrative service by making a new breakthrough, namely the
innovation of the ball pickup program.
The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a
qualitative approach. Data collection is done using interviews, observations and
documentation techniques. The data obtained from the field is qualitatively
analyzed with the Evertt M. Rogers theory approach which covers five indicators:
relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, probability tried, ease of
understanding.
The results of the research show that the Civil Registration and
Occupation Service of Humbang Hasundutan District has done a fairly good
acceleration of the administration, based on the analysis carried out by the author
using the theory of Evertt M Rogers. That seen indicators of relatively superiority
seen from around cars provided as implementers of support, facilities and
supplies that help implement these innovations such as photocopying machines
and printers as well as with the majority of farmers greatly helps the community
because its activities are uninterrupted throughout the day. The indicator of
suitability is seen from the more transparent service because in this region it is
still so tight with the system of affinity or family that it is not uncommon for the
service of nepotism, as well as the majority of farmers' jobs that are very helpful
with these innovations because their time is not interrupted or wasted in vain. The
indicator of complexity is that access to roads is still difficult, the level of stability
of the network in each area is different. The indicators are likely to be seen from
the performance of the officer in carrying out tasks on the ground as well as the
acquisition of increased occupation documents but do not remove previous
service unless combined to the desired goal. The last indicator of convenience is
seen from the enormous public enthusiasm in supporting the implementation of
the innovation of this ball pickup program. The Civil Registration and Occupation
Service of Humbang Hasundutan district has launched a ball pickup program in

No full textThis study aims to identify and disclose the standard clause arrangements in Law Number 08 of 1999 and to identify and disclose the standard clause arrangements according to Sharia Economic Law. The type of research that the author uses is a normative juridical approach. The data used are primary and secondary data. The results show that the basis for the validity of standard clauses in sharia contract law is contained in the principles of the agreement, such as the principle of al-hurriyah, the principle of al-'Adl, the principle of amah, the principle of al-shidiq and the principle of good faith. In a standard clause whose contents have been determined by one of the parties, then the principles of contract law contained in the contract law seem to be neglected, this can be seen from the absence of negotiation in the standard clause, the bargaining position of one party is also weak and what about the position the principle of freedom of contract contained in contract law, whether the legal principles are invalid or neglected as a result of the existence of standard clauses. Get PDFBenteng Hulu Village is a village located in Mempura District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This village has 14 neighboring neighborhoods and 3 hamlets located not too far away. Looking at the village of Fort Hulu which seems to be quite lagging behind and the lack of social interaction. It can be seen from the residents who still don't know each other even though the places where they live are close together. Therefore, Riau University students want to change the habits of the village community and increase social interaction in Benteng Hulu Village by holding new activities after the Covid-19 shock. The method used is a field study method where the author is directly involved and goes into the field in activities in Desa Benteng Hulu. This Real Work Lecture is conducted within 1 month. From the activities carried out, two things are concluded, namely: 1). The community will interact with each other if there are fun social interaction activities, 2). The community can use film media and gymnastics to foster a high sense of social towards the local community.
