    Modern Platforms for Timeless Principles: Sharia-Based ‘Aurah Norms on TikTok

    Research on digital Islam examines how Muslim women navigate modesty norms, yet less attention is given to the preachers who produce online moral regulation. This study addresses that gap by analysing how preachers on Tiktok discursively reconstruct ‘aurah and how religious authority is reshaped into a form of informal digital hisbah (moral enforcement). Using the Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA), the study examined 39 short-form videos from Malaysian and Indonesian preachers, focusing on nomination, predication, argumentation, perspectivisation, and intensification/mitigation to reveal how linguistic choices interact with TikTok’salgorithmic environment to construct gendered socio-legal expectations. The findings show that TikTok is not only a medium for preaching but a site of “algorithmic moral regulation,” where preachers portray women as “moral risks” and men as responsible guardians. Argumentation relies on authority and threat-based reasoning, including eschatological quantification that reframes modesty as a communal burden. A key insight is the “paradox of affective authority,” where strict, fear-oriented warnings are softened with pastoral tones to maintain attention and engagement. The study contributes to digital religion scholarship by theorising TikTok as a mechanism of digital hisbah that re-entrenches patriarchal authority and compresses complex jurisprudence into simplified, fear-driven moral governance

      Penerapan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan menawarkan berbagai kemudahan dalam hal akademik mahasiswa hal ini telah menimbulkan banyak kekwhawatiran dalam penggunaanya. Kekhawatiran, atau ketakutan yang muncul akibat penggunaan AI disebut sebagai Kecemasan Artificial Intelligence (AI kegelisahan). Mahasiswa pendidikan biologi adalah pengguna AI aktif dalam kegiatan perkuliahan. Studi ini melihat kecemasan AI siswa pendidikan Biologi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain survey cross-sectional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dari total 135 populasi yang merupakan seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan biologi yang aktif pada tahun akademik 2024/2025. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket  Artificial Intelligence Anxiety Scale yang dikembangkan oleh wang terdiri dari 21 item dari empat indikator yaitu: kecemasan pembelajaran, pergantian pekerjaan, kebutuhan sosioteknis, dan konfigurasi AI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket cetak dan berani menggunakan platform Google Form. Analisis statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik data responden, sedangkan uji T dan ANOVA untuk memancarkan kecemasan AI antar kelompok demografi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p = 0.008 berarti bahwa siswa perempuan menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan laki-laki. Tidak terdapat perbandingan yang signifikan mengenai tingkat kecemasan siswa terkait dengan pengalaman penggunaan AI, tempat tinggal, frekuensi penggunaan, konteks penggunaan, dan kemahiran penggunaan AI. siswa berusia 18–20 tahun dengan nilai rata-rata 62,797 menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan usia lainnya. Dan mahasiswa semester 4 dengan nilai rata-rata 69.592 menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan semester lainnya. kecemasan tentang pergantian pekerjaan dengan nilai rata-rata 67 menjadi indikator tertinggi

    Individuals with anxiety disorders often experience emotional communication barriers that limit the effectiveness of conventional verbal therapy. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of visual expression-based art therapy in overcoming emotional communication barriers in anxiety disorders. This study uses a qualitative approach with a narrative literature review method by synthesizing theoretical and empirical literature related to emotional communication barriers in individuals with anxiety disorders. This study found that visual expression-based art therapy can help overcome emotional communication barriers in individuals with anxiety disorders. Through visual media, individuals can express emotions that are difficult to articulate verbally, thereby facilitating more adaptive emotional processing. These findings indicate that art therapy works through a bottom-up mechanism by accessing nonverbal memories and implicit emotions, which are then integrated into cognitive understanding. Neuropsychologically, the creative process in art therapy is associated with decreased amygdala activity, increased prefrontal cortex function, and improved emotional regulation, which contribute to a reduction in anxiety symptoms. Thus, art therapy does not replace verbal therapy, but rather serves as a complementary approach that provides an alternative pathway for emotional communication for individuals with verbal limitations

    Implementation of Cash Waqf Linked Deposit in Islamic Banking in Indonesia: Regulations, Opportunities, Challenges, and Digital Era Prospects

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of CWLD in Islamic banking within the digital era by examining its regulatory framework, institutional challenges, and prospects in Indonesia. Using a qualitative literature-based research approach, this study reviews academic publications, regulatory documents, and institutional reports related to cash waqf, Islamic banking, and digital financial innovation. The findings indicate that although CWLD has substantial potential to promote financial inclusion and strengthen Muslim community empowerment, its development remains constrained by the absence of comprehensive technical regulations, institutional fragmentation, low public literacy on cash waqf, limited digital infrastructure, and inadequate managerial capacity of nazhir institutions. Nevertheless, the digital era presents significant opportunities for CWLD development through the integration of technological platforms such as blockchain, Islamic crowdfunding, and digital banking systems. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic social finance by providing a structured analysis of CWLD as an innovative instrument and offers practical insights for policymakers, Islamic banks, and waqf institutions to strengthen regulatory support, enhance public literacy, and foster institutional collaboration to position CWLD as a key pillar of an inclusive and sustainable Islamic financial syste

    The development of digital media has significantly influenced how students access and understand religious teachings. While digital media expands access to religious literacy, it also poses risks related to the spread of exclusive and radical religious ideologies. This study aims to analyze religious moderation education as a strategy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in preventing digital radicalism at Al Manar Private Islamic Senior High School, Medan Johor. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants include the principal, PAI teachers, and students. The findings indicate that religious moderation education is implemented through the integration of wasathiyah values in PAI learning, teacher role modeling, strengthening digital religious literacy, and fostering tolerant school culture. Religious moderation education functions as a preventive strategy to develop students’ critical, moderate, and inclusive attitudes, thereby minimizing exposure to digital radicalism. The study confirms the strategic role of PAI teachers as agents of moderation in responding to the challenges of radicalism in the digital era.Perkembangan media digital telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap cara peserta didik mengakses dan memahami ajaran agama. Di satu sisi, media digital membuka ruang literasi keagamaan yang luas, namun di sisi lain juga menghadirkan potensi penyebaran paham keagamaan yang eksklusif dan radikal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan moderasi beragama sebagai strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam mencegah radikalisme digital di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Al Manar Medan Johor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas kepala madrasah, guru PAI, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan moderasi beragama diimplementasikan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai wasathiyah dalam pembelajaran PAI, keteladanan guru, penguatan literasi digital keagamaan, serta pembiasaan sikap toleran dalam budaya sekolah. Pendidikan moderasi beragama terbukti berperan sebagai strategi preventif dalam membentuk sikap kritis, moderat, dan inklusif peserta didik, sehingga mampu meminimalisasi potensi paparan radikalisme digital. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa guru PAI memiliki peran strategis sebagai agen moderasi dalam menghadapi tantangan radikalisme di era digital

    Smart Free-Fall Experiment Apparatus Using Arduino, Infrared–Ultrasonic Sensors, and Bluetooth Data Logging

    This study aims to develop a valid and practical Arduino Uno-assisted free fall experiment tool as a learning medium for 11th grade high school/MA physics. This study uses the research and development method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators and grade XI high school students as limited test subjects. The practical tool was developed by integrating Arduino Uno, infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, HC-05 Bluetooth modules, and MicroSD modules to support automatic time and height measurements, wireless data transmission, and digital data storage. Data collection techniques were carried out using expert validation sheets and student practicality questionnaires. The data were analyzed using validity and practicality percentages based on predetermined criteria. The results showed that the developed practical tool had a very high validity level with an average percentage of 88% and a category of highly valid. In addition, the practicality test results showed a percentage of 81.5% with a very practical category. These findings indicate that the Arduino Uno-assisted free fall practicum tool is feasible and effective for use as a physics learning medium, and is capable of improving the quality of practicum activities through accurate measurements, time efficiency, and more systematic management of experimental data

    Abstract: Tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan saat ini adalah munculnya perilaku bullying atau perundungan dikalangan pelajar. Bullying biasanya tertuju pada anak yang dianggap lemah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu memberikan wawasan dan pemahaman kepada siswa terkait bullying melalui chinematheraphy bermuatan kearifan lokal. Melalui kegiatan ini siswa diajak untuk menonton film sebagai media refleksi diri dan pengembangan karakter. Selain itu, melalui cinematheraphy juga dimasukkan unsur kearifan lokal minangkabau. Mereka diajak untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai moral, empati, serta perilaku positif yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari Dengan memasukkan unsur budaya lokal ke dalam kegiatan Chinematheraphy, siswa tidak hanya memahami pesan moral dari film, tetapi juga mampu mengaitkannya dengan nilai-nilai budaya yang hidup dalam masyarakat mereka sendiri. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di SMPN 02 Batipuh yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan siswa tentang bullying. Sebanyak 138 anak dari total 153 berada pada kategori sangat tahu. Pengetahuan yang didapatkan berupa pengertian bullying, jenis bullying, dampak bullying, dan pencegahan bullying. Melalui cinematheraphy yang diberikan, siswa berkomitmen akan bertindak tegas melawan bullying dan membekali diri dengan ilmu beladiri agar tidak terjadi pembulian.   &nbsp

    Hubungan Qana’ah dengan Social Comparison pada Mahasiswa Pengguna Tiktok

    The TikTok app is a popular social media platform in Indonesia, with its main users aged between 18 and 24 years old. This application provides a short video feature that allows users to showcase the lives or lifestyles of other individuals. This often triggers social comparison when someone feels dissatisfied with what they have. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between qana'ah and social comparison among TikTok users who are elementary school teacher education students at Swadaya Gunung Jati University in Cirebon. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. This study used Pearson's correlation to determine the relationship between the two variables. The hypothesis test yielded a result of (rxy = -0.644, p = 0.001). This indicates a significant negative relationship between qana'ah and social comparison, meaning that the higher the level of qana'ah, the lower the level of social comparison. Conversely, the lower the level of qana'ah, the higher the level of social comparison

    Character education should be implemented in all types of education, especially in Islamic education. Character education in education, including Islamic education, still indicates gender bias. Therefore, there is a need for discussion on gender-responsive character education in Islamic education. This study uses a library study method. The discussion in this study includes character education, character education from the perspective of Islamic education, character education from a gender perspective, and character education in gender-responsive Islamic education. The results of the study suggest that gender-responsive character education in Islamic education at least has the following characteristics and implements: providing equal learning opportunities in character education, avoiding gender stereotypes in character education in Islamic education, and a gender-equitable curriculum and practice of character education in Islamic education

    Innovations in Sharia Insurance Products and Business Models: A Comparative Study of Crowd Takaful, Sharing Tabarru’ and Peer-to-Peer Insurance

    This study aimed to examining innovations in Sharia-compliant insurance products and business models, specifically crowd takaful, sharing tabarru, and peer-to-peer insurance. The methodology applied follows the PRISMA framework, involving a comprehensive search in the Scopus database, strict selection criteria, and thematic qualitative and quantitative analysis to ensure reliability and relevance of the reviewed literature. Key findings reveal that crowd takaful and peer-to-peer insurance models significantly enhance financial inclusion and uphold ethical insurance principles aligned with Sharia values, with fintech technologies driving operational efficiency and transparency. The discussion highlights how integrating Islamic values into technological innovations deepens understanding and adaptation of these insurance models while identifying regulatory and moral hazard challenges that hinder broader development. The conclusion emphasizes this study’s contribution in linking Islamic economic theory with financial technology advances and its practical implications for regulatory innovation and financial literacy promotion. Future research is recommended to focus on cross-cultural comparative studies, development of hybrid theoretical frameworks combining Islamic economics with innovation diffusion and behavioral finance, and advanced bibliometric analyses to map academic progress and policy collaboration.
