Pengaruh minuman beralkohol terhadap fungsi spermatogenik testis mencit jantan (Mus musculus L.)
Minuman beralkohol merupakan salah satu produk minuman yang sudah menyebar luas dan sudah banyak dikenal di seluruh dunia. Alkohol yang terdapat dalam minuman dapat menyebabkan toksisitas pada manusia khususnya pada organ reproduksi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Masing-masing diberi minuman beralkohol dengan dosis 0,2 ml/ekor untuk P1, 03 ml/ekor untuk P2 dan 0,4 ml/ekor untuk p3. Parameter yang digunakan meliputi panjang testis, diameter testis, indeks testis dan indeks spermatogenesis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan apabila terdapat perbedaan yang berarti dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD (Least Significant Difference).
Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian minuman beralkohol pada mencit jantan dapat menurunkan panjang testis, diameter testis dan indeks testis serta indeks spermatogenesis testis secara signifikan
Potensi Nilai-nilai Karakter Mahasiswa Multietnis Dalam Mempengaruhi Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Pada Pembelajaran Biologi
Menghadapi perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi (IPTEK), diperlukan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Cirimanusia yang berkualitas adalah memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis. Rendahnya keterampilan berpikirkritis dapat disebabkan karena proses pembelajaran yang kurang menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter padamahasiswa yang memiliki latar belakang multietnis. Nilai-nilai karakter dari setiap etnis memiliki potensidalam mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis seseorang. Kajian dalam tulisan ini mengungkap potensinilai-nilai karakter pada mahasiswa multietnis dalam mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis biologi.Adapun etnis yang dikaji meliputi etnis Dayak, Melayu, dan Jawa. Berbagai kajian literatur mendeskripsikanbahwa ketiga etnis tersebut memiliki nilai-nilai karakter yang berpotensi dalam mempengaruhi keterampilanberpikir kritis mahasiswa biologi. Adanya potensi dari nilai-nilai karakter pada mahasiswa multietnis,mendorong dosen untuk menerapkan berbagai strategi pembelajaran yang bernuansa pendidikan karakter,salah satunya adalah strategi pembelajaran Jigsaw, Reading, Questioning, Answering (JiRQA)

The Implementation of JiRQA Model to Improve Biology Learning Outcomes at Indonesia Junior High School
Abstract: Biology is a material that requires an understanding of students' learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the effect of the JiRQA learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at Yoseph Khatulistiwa Middle School and Nusantara Indah Sintang Middle School. This research was a quantitative approach with a weak experiment design method. The population was all class VIII students at Yoseph Khatulistiwa Middle School and Nusantara Indah Sintang Middle School, consisting was 29 students, 16 students at Yoseph Khatulistiwa Middle School and 13 students at Nusantara Indah Sintang Middle School. The instrument to measure students' learning outcomes is in the form was 20 multiple choice questions. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis in the form of a paired sample t test. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed an increase in the average pretest and posttest scores was 38.62%. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the significance value for learning outcomes was 0.000 and is greater than alpha 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the implementation of the JiRQA learning model on students' learning outcomes in Biology material. Keywords: JIRQA learning model, learning outcomes, biology learning. Abstrak: Biologi merupakan materi yang memerlukan pemahaman terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran JiRQA terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Yoseph Khatulistiwa dan SMP Nusantara Indah Sintang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode weak eksperimen. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Yoseph Khatulistiwa dan SMP Nusantara Indah Sintang yang terdiri dari 29 siswa, 16 siswa SMP Yoseph Khatulistiwa dan 13 siswa di SMP Nusantara Indah Sintang. Instrumen untuk mengukur prestasi belajar siswa berupa 20 soal pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial berupa Paired sample t test.. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest sebesar 38,62%. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai signifikansi prestasi sebesar 0,000 lebih besar dari alpha 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran JiRQA terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Biologi. Diversity of Annelids in the Kapuas and Melawi Rivers
The presence of Annelida animals in water is one indicator of polluted water. The purpose of this research was to determine the diversity of Annelida phylum in the Kapuas and Melawi rivers. This research used an exploratory method to determine the diversity of annelids in the Kapuas and Melawi rivers. Sampling was carried out in 2 regions representing the left and right sides of the river, both upstream and downstream of the river. The findings of the research show that there are two classes of annelid phyla, namely the Oligochaeta and Hirudinae classes. Oligochaeta class is represented by Tubifex sp, Lumbricus terrestris, and Pharetima sp. species while Hirudinae class is represented by Haemodipsa sp. Species. The number of Annelids found in the Kapuas river for Tubifex sp. numbered 7 species, Lumbricus terrestris numbered 53 species and Pharetima sp. numbered 14 species. The number of Annelids found in the Melawi river for Tubifex sp. numbered 1 species, Lumbricus terrestris numbered 23 species, Pharetima sp. numbered 8 species and Haemodipsa sp amounted to 2 species. The presence of Tubifex sp. in the Kapuas and Melawi rivers shows that the quality of the river waters begins to be polluted
Profil keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan zoologi
Keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat diperlukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendidikan tinggi memiliki peranan dalam memberdayakan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan zoologi di STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa metode survei. Responden dalam penelitian melibatkan 114 mahasiswa biologi yang telah mengambil mata kuliah zoologi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai rerata yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian survei dalam bentuk narasi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa biologi dalam kategori sangat kurang. Indikator berpikir kritis menunjukkan 25,44% mahasiswa mampu memberikan argumen, 40,35% dapat mengajukan pertanyaan dengan benar, 13,16% mampu menjawab pertanyaan yang menantang dan 21,93% dapat menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan sumber. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada perkuliahan zoologi di STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang belum optimal.Profile of Students Critical Thinking Skills in Zoology. The critical thinking skills are necessary for everyday life, therefore, higher education has a role in empowering of critical thinking skills. This research aims to students' critical thinking skills in zoology learning at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. The research was survey method. Respondents in this research were 114 biology students who had taken zoology courses. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive analysis that aims to describe the average value obtained from survey research results in the form of narration and percentage. The results show that the overall average value of critical thinking skills was classified as a very low category. The results of the questionnaire show that the average value of student give argument skill was 25.44%, ask questions correctly was 40.35%, answer challenging questions was 13.16% and answer questions by the source was 21.93%. These results provide the conclusion that the empowerment of critical thinking skills of students in zoology learning at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang has not been optimal

Model Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament: Studi Meta¬-Analisis Berpikir Kritis dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Sains
Using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model to build the mindset of students so that they can think critically, creatively and innovatively in solving a problem. This study aims to re-analyze the TGT model in learning aspects of critical thinking and science student learning outcomes. This study uses a meta-analysis using a descriptive method with a sample of 26 national journals. Based on the research results of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model, the average critical thinking ability is 0.35 with a category range and cognitive learning outcomes are 0.24. With effect size 0.44 critical thinking and effect size 0.50 cognitive learning outcomes. Based on the types of articles, it shows that the use of the TGT learning model in the types of research articles in scientific publications that are most widely used is Quasi Experiment, there are twenty articles with an Effect Size of 0.53. The learning model of the TGT learning model is effective in cognitive learning and students' critical thinking skills
IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIRQA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATERI PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN TUMBUHAN
The critical thinking skills of students in SMP Negeri 2 Sekadau Hilir were still low. This research aims to determine the effect of the jigsaw, reading, questioning, answering (JiRQA)type cooperative learning model on students critical thinking skills of SMP Negeri 2 Sekadau Hilir. The approach was quantitative in the form of quasi-experiment research. The instrument for measuring critical thinking skills using essay questions as many as 6 items. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to determine mean and inferential analysis using the t-test. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that there was an increase in the mean value of pretest and post test critical thinking skills of the experimental class by 45.28% and the control class by 33.11%. The inferential statistical analysis results show that the probability value of students critical thinking skills of 0.00 is smaller than 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of implementation JiRQA learning model on students' critical thinking skills
Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Pada Materi Perkalian dan Pembagian
The Enhancement of Students' Cognitive Learning Achievement Through Contextual Learning Model on Multiplication and Division’s Matter. This research was based on the number of students who produce the resuits of cognitive learning under minimal mastery. The purpose of this research was to improve student cognitive learning outcomes and improve the learning process by applying the contextual learning model. The approach used in this research was descritptive qualitative approach with classroom action research method consisting of two cyeles. Subjects in this researchwere the students of elementary school classs III 48 Lepung Beruang were 43 students who taught by the modeling of contextstual. The instrument for measuring cognitive learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed by using desctiptive whit mean and Classical completeness value. The result of descriptive analysis shows that in cycle I, the result of 29 students is complete with an average of 66,00 and classical completeness of 67,44%. Furthermore, in cycle II, students who complete 37 students with average of 78,60 and classical completeness of 86,04% of students into good category. The results of this study can be concluded tahat the modeling of use can improve student learning outcomes on mathematic materials.Based on, the result of the teacher activity observation has been received 60% the first meeting, 65% the second meeting on the first cycle, meanwhile on the second cycle at the first meeting has got constantly becoming increasing 100%.
