Personal Branding Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai Komentator Olahraga di Media Televisi
Abstrak - Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengenai “Personal Branding Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai Komentator Olahraga di Media Televisi”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana penerapan personal branding yang dilakukan oleh Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai komentator olahraga di media televisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis deskriptif. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah post-positivisme karena peneliti ingin membuktikan dan menganalisa suatu fenomena yang terjadi pada subjek penelitian dengan berpedoman teori yang sudah ada dan berpaku pada suatu teori. Dalam objek penelitian penulis memilih Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai informan kunci, lalu memilih Ary Sapari dan Petrus Tomy Wijanarko sebagai informan pendukung dan memilih Dra. Dewi Taviana Walida, Psi, Psikolog sebagai informan ahli. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan personal branding, Valentino Simanjuntak hadir sebagai komentator olahraga di media televisi yang memiliki ciri khas variasi ragam bahasanya saat menjadi komentator olahraga yaitu slang, jargon, akrolek, dan ken dengan sebelas karaktersitik personal branding yaitu keaslian, integritas, konsisten, spesialisasi, wibawa, kekhasan, relevan, terlihat, kegigihan, nama baik, dan kinerja yang sudah cukup baik dan selaras. Akan tetapi, pada poin kewibawaan, untuk diakui sebagai ahli dalam bidang komentator olahraga Valentino Simanjuntak masih membutuhkan waktu dan proses lagi untuk memenuhi kriteria kewibawaan.Abstract - This research is a qualitative research on "Personal Branding Valentino Simanjuntak as Sports Commentator on Television Media". The purpose of this research is to analyze the way of applying personal branding carried out by Valentino Simanjuntak as a sports commentator on television media. This study uses qualitative methods with a type of descriptive analysis research. The paradigm used in this research is post-positivism because researchers want to prove and analyze the phenomena that occur in the subject of research by referring to existing theories and sticking to a theory. In the research object, the author choose Valentino Simanjuntak as the key informant, then choose Ary Sapari and Petrus Tomy Wijanarko as supporting informants and chose Dra. Dewi Taviana Walida, Psi, Psychologist as expert informant. The result of this research shows that in conducting personal branding, Valentino Simanjuntak was present as a sports commentator on television media who has a uniqueness of language variation like slang, jargon , akrolek, and ken with eleven personal branding characteristics namely authenticity, integrity, consistency, specialization, authority, distinctiveness, relevant, visibility, persistence, goodwill, and performance. It is good enough and in harmony. Pengolahan Limbah Cair Hotel Dengan Kombinasi Metode Elektrokoagulasi Dan Adsorpsi Menggunakan Karbosil
This study was carried out to investigate treatment of hotel wastewater using a combination of electrocoagulation and adsorption using carbosil prepared from rice husk with pyrolysis method. Electrocoagulation was applied with the aim to remove natural organic matter in the sample, using aluminim as electrodes, with the particular purpose to study the effect of potentials.The treated water was then subjected to adsorption process at different contact times and the performance of the process was evaluated in term of the reduction of the absorbance at maximum wavelength.The performance of the method was defined in term of absorbance reduction at the maximum wavelength of 226 nm, which was determined by scanning the original sample at the wavelength ranging from 200 to 700 nm.According to literature, the maximum wavelength of 226 nm is commonly assigned to benzene structure, most likely from the Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate (ABS) used in detergents.The results obtained indicate that for electrocoagulation process, the highest reduction in the absorbance was achieved using potential of 10 volt.Adsorption process was found to result in the diminish of peak at 226 nm, reflecting that the organic pollutant associated with this wavelegth has been completely removed from the water.Characterization of the carbosil using SEMtechnique revealed that the carbosil has practically homogeneous surface morphology, supporting its ability to adsorb the pollutants from the wastewater. THE USE OF THE RIETVELD METHOD TO STUDY THE PHASE COMPOSITION OF CORDIERITE (Mg2Al4Si5O18) CERAMICS PREPARED FROM RICE HUSK SILICA
This research presents the use of the Rietveld method to study the phase composition of cordierite (MG2AL4SI5O18) ceramics prepared from rice husk silica, after the samples were sintered at 1300, 1400 and 1500 °C. The formation of cordierite is temperature-dependent as indicated by the relative phase composition obtained from x-ray diffraction patterns for the cordierite and spinel increased markedly with increasing temperature, i.e, from 38.98 to 54.15 wt% and from 11.81 to 17.99 wt % following the increase in temperature from 1300-1500 °C, respectively. The above values were obtained with the aid of the Rietveld method, carried out until the goodness of fit values (GoF) reached below 2, which is considered a satisfactory value to reveal the real phase composition. Different plots produced by refinement using the Rietveld method also reveal a reasonable fit between the observed and the calculated plot, demonstrating the usefulness of the method for calculating the quantity of phase composition in the sintering proces

Optimalisasi Hidrolisis Umbi Talas Beneng (Xantoshoma undipes K. Koch) sebagai Bahan Baku Bioetanol
This study conducted to assess the most appropriate method or hydrolysis of beneng taro tuber to optimize the production of bioethanol to investigate the effect of pHs, times, and temperatures on reducing sugar produced. The concentration of reducing sugar was determined using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The result obtained indicated that the optimum amount of reducing sugar (910,875 mg/L ) achieved at pH 10, hydrolysis time of 3 hours, and the temperature of 90 °C. Fermentation of reducing sugar using the powdered bark of raru plant produced 0,18765 % (v/v) of bioethanol and fermentation using Saccharomyces cerevisiae produced 0,2116 % (v/v) of bioethanol.
 
PREPARATION OF TEMPERATURE-RESPONSIVE POLYMER BY GRAFTING OF N-<i>ISOPROPYLACRYLAMIDE</i> (NIPAAM) ONTO SOLID WASTE CASSAVA
In this study, cellulose prepared from solid waste of cassava industry was functionalized with N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) using grafting technique with the aid of cerium (IV) as initiator, to obtain temperature responsive polymer. In this research, several factors influencing the grafting process and the characteristics of the grafted polymer were investigated, including concentration of monomer and initiator, temperature, reaction time, and solvent used. The functionality of native and grafted cellulose was analyzed using FTIR spectroscopic technique and the response of grafted polymer toward temperature was evaluated with water absorption experiment. Increased concentration of both monomer and initiator was found to promote percentage of polymerization, and utilization of organic solvent was found to enhance the percentage of polymerization. From absorption experiment, it was found that the produced polymer was responsive toward temperature of its environment, as indicated by higher water adsorption at temperature of 5 °C compared to that adsorbed at temperature of 50 °C

For this purpose, the grafted silica was analysed using FTIR spectroscopic method, followed by testing of the sample for solvent adsorption, Cu2+ adsorption from solution, and bacterial inhibitions, since 4-VP has been known to possess such properties. The FTIR analysis revealed that under the experimental conditions applied, the 4-PV was well grafted onto silica surface. The success of grafting was also supported by the results of solvent adsorption, which indicate the increase in adsorption capacity with increased percent of grafting and higher adsorption capacity toward polar solvent. The same supports are also provided by the ability of the sample to adsorp results of Cu2+ adsorption from solution, and the ability of the sample to inhibit the microorganism growth.

husk, with the main aim to study wether the 4-VP grafted retains its characteristics. For this purpose, the grafted
silica was analysed using FTIR spectroscopic method, followed by testing of the sample for solvent adsorption, Cu2+
adsorption from solution, and bacterial inhibitions, since 4-VP has been known to possess such properties. The
FTIR analysis revealed that under the experimental conditions applied, the 4-PV was well grafted onto silica surface.
The success of grafting was also supported by the results of solvent adsorption, which indicate the increase in
adsorption capacity with increased percent of grafting and higher adsorption capacity toward polar solvent. The
same supports are also provided by the ability of the sample to adsorp results of cif+ adsorption from solution, and

Functionalization of Polyethylene Films With pH-Responsive Acrylic Acid Using Grafting Technique Induced by UV-Ray
This research was carried out to study photografting of acrylic acid onto linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) film, induced by UV ray at 60°C, as a function of monomer concentration and irradiation time. This research was conducted since it has been known that hydrogels formed by polyacrylic acid exhibit shrinking and swelling behaviors according to the change in pH of the aqueous medium. Therefore, the acrylic acid-grafted LLDPE film is expected to exhibit a pH-responsive function, in which it swells in alkaline media (pH = 8) and shrinks in acidic media (pH = 4). Xanthone was used as a photoinitiator, which was coated on the film earlier. The samples were characterized using attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy and a scanning electron microscope analysis. The pH-responsive experiments revealed that the samples exhibited the pH-responsive characters, as expected, in which they shrank and swelled in acidic and alkaline media, respectively. The pHresponsive character was higher for the samples prepared in the system containing monomer at higher concentration. The different extents of the pH-responsive character of the resulting grafted PE films were discussed in terms of location of grafted chains in the film substrate
