No full textABSTRAKAmandemen Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 memberikan dampak bagi perubahan di sistem kelembagaan negara khususnya di lembaga legislatif, yaitu dengan dibentuknya lembaga negara bernama Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) yang bersama-sama dengan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) berwenang untuk menyusun dan membahas suatu rancangan Undang-Undang. DPD merupakan lembaga perwakilan yang erat kaitannya dengan mewakili kepentingan dan aspirasi rakyat di daerah-daerah yang seharusnya memiliki kedudukan yang sama dengan DPR, namun pada kenyataannya selaku lembaga perwakilan daerah, DPD diberikan kewenangan yang lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan DPR, sehingga DPD tidak dapat secara maksimal dalam mewujudkan aspirasi rakyat yang ada di daerah, bahkan Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) yang diajukan oleh DPD jarang disahkan menjadi Undang-Undang (UU).Kata Kunci : Fungsi Legislasi; DPD; Demokrasi RepresentatifABSTRACTAmendments of the 1945 Constitution have an impact on changes in the state institutional system, especially in the legislature, namely by the establishment of a state institution called the Regional Representative Council (DPD) which together with the House of Representatives (DPR) has the authority to draft and discuss a draft law. DPD is a representative institution that is closely related to representing the interests and aspirations of the people in the regions that should have the same position as the DPR, but in fact as regional representative institutions, the DPD is given less authority than the DPR, so the DPD cannot be maximally in realizing the aspirations of the people in the region, even the Draft Law (RUU) proposed by the DPD is rarely passed into the draft law.Keywords: Function of Legislation; DPD; Representative Democrac

Writing is one of the productive language skills. Writing is an activity to communicate one’s idea by using letters, words, phrases, and clauses to from a series of related sentences. This definition shows that writing is conveying a message through a written text. In other words, writing is a communication between a writer and a reader with the use of printed symbols. In fact, is not easy for students’ to write a story using english. The students difficult to find ideas but they need to be creative in using vocabulary in order to create narrative text. The students also felt confused to choose the topic to write. Furthermore, the impact of lacking of ideas can make the students less-enthusiastic. Many of them were afraid of making mistakes in their writing.
In this research the problem is “Is there any significant effect of using Wattpad on eleventh grade students’ writing ability of SMAN 1 Mumbulsari in the 2019/2020 academic year?”
The design of this research is experimental research, the design of this research was quasi experimental with the pretest and posttest design. The subject is the eleventh grade which consist of 40 students, the data collecting by using writing test using wattpad on narrative text.
Two classes is used as experimental and control group after calculation by using SPSS the result of the Independent Samples Test, the Sig. (2- tailed) is 0,001 and less than 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05) it means the Null Hypothesis (H0) is rejected. So, Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted then the result is there is significant difference in students’ wattpad ability using wattpad on narrative text between the students who were taught using wattpad on narrative text.
There is significant effect on students’ writing ability of using wattpad in experimental group. It can be concluded that teaching writing of using wattpad on narrative has significant effect in form of students’ writing ability of the eleventh grade students at SMAN 1 Mumbulsari in the 2019/2020 academic year
Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) in Goat's Milk Kefir Against Pathogenic Microbes
No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) of goat milk kefir. This research was conducted from November to December 2021 at the Laboratory of Animal Products Technology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya. The analysis of the results of the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) test results was carried out at the Biomedical Laboratory, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The method used is a laboratory experimental method using a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors, a storage time and concentration. Treatment length of storage consisted of P0 (long storage day 0), P1 (long storage day 7), P2 (long storage day 14), and P3 (long storage day 21). Concentration treatment consisted of K0 (50% concentration), K1 (25% concentration). K2 (Concentration 12.5%), K3 (Concentration 6.25%), and K4 (Concentration 3.10%). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), and followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results of the analysis showed that the treatment of storage time and concentration showed a very significant difference (P>0.01) on the average MIC and MBC of goat's milk kefir during storage at refrigerator temperature (0-4°C) in Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi. The MIC of goat's milk kefir against Staphylococcus aureus was 12.5% on Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhi 6.25%. While the MBC of goat's milk kefir against Staphylococcus aureus is 50%, Escherichia coli is 50% and 25%, and Salmonella typhi is 50%, 25%, and 12.5%.Keywords: Kefir, Goat’s Milk, MIC, MBC, Pathogenic Microbe
