Hubungan Islam dan Negara dalam Negara Hukum: Analisis Pemikiran Moh. Mahfud MD
The battle between Islam and the state is well-known, as it began during the process of establishing the Indonesian state, resulting in the division of the country into two groups: Islamic nationalists and secular nationalists. Pancasila, according to Mahfud MD, is a collection of factors aimed at resolving divisions. The purpose of this study is to describe how Moh. Mahfud MD views the link between Islam and the state, what his background is, and how the relationship between Islam and the state functions in a state of law. The author compares the viewpoints of many figures on this subject using a qualitative method with a normative approach. According to the study\u27s findings, Moh. Mahfud MD believes that while religion does not rule the state, the state\u27s structure is a creation rather than a product of political science. The reason for Moh. Mahfud MD\u27s ideas is that they bear a resemblance to Nahdatul Ulama, as Mahfud is involved in alumni activities and was formerly a member. Islam and the state in a state of law share a shared goal: both maintain the democratic system in order to protect human rights. Keywords: Islam; State; State of Law; Pancasila AbstrakPerdebatan Islam dan negara sudah tidak asing lagi, mengingat konflik ini dimulai ketika menentukan dasar negara Indonesia yang mengakibatkan perpecahan menjadi dua golongan antara nasionalis Islam dan nasionalis sekuler. MODERASI BERAGAMA DALAM NOVEL "KAMBING DAN HUJAN" KARYA MAHFUD IKHWAN
This study examines the form of religious moderation in the novel Kambing dan Hujan (KH) by Mahfud Ikhwan. This type of research is qualitative, which utilizes descriptive and analytical methods. The approach used is the sociology of literature which prioritizes literary texts as the study material. The results showed that the social setting of the novel KH includes people's living habits, traditions, and religious views. Meanwhile, the author's social background includes the place of birth, residence, and profession that influenced the publication of the novel KH. The social setting of the novel depicts an extreme and fanatical society in religion. However, there is also a picture of people who view everything as normal, not excessive, moderate, and do not feel superior to other parties on the opposite side. From the author's social background, it can be seen that Mahfud Ikhwan as a writer positions himself as a neutral party. Although the novel KH has a big theme, namely about two very important differences in ideology, opinions, and worship practices between NU and Muhammadiyah, the author is able to reach the two largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia's point of view by being in the middle of the two. Keywords: Sociology of Literature, Religious Moderation, The Novel Kambing dan Hujan.

Integrating Islamic Values into Discipline Management: A Conceptual Study of the POAC Framework in Pesantren
This study aimed to formulate a conceptual model of disciplinary management in pesantren by integrating core Islamic ethical values into the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) managerial framework. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA protocol on 12 studies (2020-2025), the research identified six foundational values—ṭāʿah, amānah, shūrā, uswah ḥasanah, iḥsān, and murāqabah—systematically embedded across all four managerial functions. The findings show pesantren discipline is rooted in internalization and spiritual consciousness, contrasting with coercive approaches. Mapping these values onto POAC provides a structured synthesis bridging classical Islamic ethics with modern management. Theoretically, this model advances the field of Islamic Education Management by offering a rigorous value-based managerial framework. Practically, it serves as an operational reference for leaders to design spiritually grounded and administratively coherent discipline systems relevant to contemporary challenges. The study is limited by its conceptual, SLR-based nature, restricting conclusions to theoretical interpretations. Future research must empirically validate this model through field studies, case studies, or comparative analyses across diverse pesantren contexts
TANTANGAN SELEKSI GURU DI ERA DIGITAL: ANTARA PROFESIONALISME DAN SPIRITUALITAS DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
Digital transformation in the world of education demands fundamental changes in the teacher selection process, including in Islamic education environments. Teachers are not only required to have professional competence and mastery of technology, but also spiritual integrity that reflects Islamic values. This study aims to examine the challenges of teacher selection in the digital era, and to offer an integrative selection approach between professionalism and spirituality. Using a literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach, data was obtained from national and international scientific literature. The results of the study indicate an imbalance in digital literacy, the dominance of technical professionalism aspects, and weak instruments for measuring spirituality in the teacher selection process. Therefore, a multidimensional and collaborative selection model is needed, including integration between madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools, in order to produce teachers who are balanced between technological skills and moral-spiritual strength in educating the Islamic generation. This study aims to formulate a teacher selection strategy that is not only oriented towards technological and pedagogical skills, but also considers spiritual qualities and personality integrity that are in line with the mission of Islamic education. In addition, this paper also examines how an integrative approach between professionalism and spirituality can be implemented in real terms in digital-based teacher selection
