    Pelayanan medik dewasa ini membutuhkan sistem yang lebih efektif dan efisien, baik dalam penggunaan waktu, tenaga maupun sarana. Dalam pengelolaan rekam medik, kenyataan masih umumnya penggunaan rekam medik manual yang dinilai tak lagi andal menangani data medik melahirkan ide konversi rekam medik manual kertas ke rekam medik elektronik karena efektivitas dan efisiensinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menciptakan aplikasi rekam medik elektronik yang lebih dikenal sebagai EMR (Electronic Medical Record) dari rekam medik kertas di Instalasi Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Umum Ananda Salatiga. Rekam medik elektronik dirancang dengan membuat form-form isian catatan-catatan medik dalam proses perawatan pasien selama dirawat. Data-data medik ini kemudian disimpan dalam basis data sistem dan dikelola secara digital. Setiap kali pengisian data medik pada form-form tertentu, sistem akan menghasilkan kode yang membawa informasi khusus. Pada akhirnya, sistem akan menghasilkan deret kode ICD (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems) dari kode-kode yang dihasilkan pada pengisian form-form catatan medik. Deretan kode-kode ini mampu menggambarkan perkembangan kondisi pasien dan penanganan medik yang diberikan selama perawatan. Data-data medik yang tersimpan dapat ditampilkan kembali dalam bentuk catatan medik digital. Kata kunci: rekam medik, rawat inap, EMR, IC

    The Implementation of English-medium Instruction at an Indonesian University: From Policy to Practice

    Abstract The increasing trend in English-medium instruction (EMI) practices has been widely observed among higher education institutions worldwide in response to higher education internationalization and the position of English as a lingua franca (ELF). However, EMI implementation is complex, dynamic, and contextual, with some variables contributing to its degree of implementation. In addition, EMI is much related to the macro-, meso-, and micro-level policies, with all classroom practices directed toward instructional and institutional objectives. This dissertation explores the implementation of EMI at a higher institution in Indonesia by focusing on the interplays among possible contributing variables, namely socioeconomic status (SES), English proficiency, gender, and academic factors related to students\ue2 prior language and learning experiences, course load, and duration of study in association with the EMI students\ue2 academic achievement and learning experiences. A main conceptual framework proposed by Dafouz and Smit (2020) called ROAD-MAPPING (Role of English, Academic Discipline, (Language) Management, Agents, Practices and Processes, and Internationalization and Glocalization) was used to provide the basis for analysis and to justify the findings. This dissertation is composed of three studies to (1) examine the relationships between socioeconomic status (SES), English proficiency, and academic achievement of EMI students in an EMI program at a state university in Indonesia, specifically looking at the mediating effect of English proficiency and moderating role of parents\ue2 education on the relationship between parents\ue2 income and EMI students\ue2 academic achievement, (2) to explain the effects of gender, prior education, socioeconomic status (SES), English proficiency, study load, and study duration on EMI students\ue2 academic achievement, and (3) to explore EMI students\ue2 expectations, challenges, and coping strategies by looking at their prior English and learning backgrounds in an EMI program at a state university in Indonesia and reveal EMI policy implementation through students\ue2 learning experiences. Studies 1 and 2 employed institutional data from the office of academic affairs of the university comprising EMI students based on nine-year enrollment periods from 2007 to 2015, while study 3 used qualitative data obtained from an open-ended questionnaire, a group interview, and policy documents. The findings of the studies under this dissertation highlight the complex, multi-layered, and dynamic implementation of EMI at a tertiary education institution in Indonesia. Study 1 shows that English proficiency remains a pivotal pre-requisite for students\ue2 academic achievement despite the contributing role of parents\ue2 income. In addition, parents\ue2 education level determines the degree of students\ue2 academic achievement as their parents\ue2 income increases for those with at least a college degree or higher education level. Study 2 further provides a multi-layered explanation for the significant relationships between secondary school background, English proficiency, study load, and study duration and students\ue2 academic achievement, while SES factors comprising parents\ue2 income, education, and occupation are not significant factors for the EMI students\ue2 academic achievement. Finally, study 3 reveals how prior English language and learning experiences are determinants to follow an EMI program to achieve various academic, job-related, and intercultural expectations, to deal with learning challenges, and to apply learning strategies despite some mismatches between meso-level policy and classroom practices. Some practical recommendations are suggested to develop EMI students\ue2 English proficiency and learning skills to help the students achieve the demanding expectations and to address some gaps between policy and practice in EMI implementations. Further studies looking at more variables, using more classroom-based inquiries, and comparing different higher education learning contexts should be conducted to improve the generalizability of the findings

    ABSTRAK Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin berupaya dalam meregenerasi para santri untuk menjadi seorang Da’i, dalam upaya ini Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin mengadakan kaderisasi Da’i yang merupakan suatu keharusan bagi para santri-santrinya. Keterpaduan dakwah didalam Pondok Pesantren sebagai salah satu strategi berupa pengembangan akhlakul karimah dan kecintaan serta kepedulian terhadap moral – moral pemuda saat ini, untuk menjaga generasi muda sampai sekarang Kemampuan sebuah Pondok Pesantren dalam menghadapi tantangan global terus ditingkatkan, jaringan komunikasi dibangun dan dikembangkan melalui sistem dan kebiasaan kehidupan sehari – hari yang semakin hari semakin besar peranannya dalam menciptakan regenerasi yang solid dalam beragama dan semakin besar pula pengaruhnya dalam dunia dakwah dan masyarakat itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan dan bentuk manajemen yang dilakukan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin Dalam kaderisasi Da’i. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan menejemen dakwah yaitu pendekatan dengan menekankan proses manajeman Kaderisasi Da’i di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin Penumangan Baru Tulang Bawang Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisis data. Penulis mengambil 2 orang untuk menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin dan Kepala Pengasuhan santri Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin. Dari hasil penelitian penulis, maka penulis dapat menyimpulkan pelaksanaan dan bentuk manajemen yang dilakukan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin dalam kaderisasi Da’i, aksi yang dilakukan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin, yakni menciptakan dan membina para calon Da’i yang handal dan di samping itu, setiap langkah-langkah yang di lakukan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin memiliki Implementasi yang berbeda-beda, seperti Penerap dalam pengkaderan Da’i, yakni melalui program Muhadoroh guna menguatkan Ilmu dan mental para santri. Adapun langkah-langkah yang dilakukan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin dalam pelaksanaan manajemen kaderisasi, pertama menentukan program Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin, kedua membuat jadwal kegiatan program tersebut dan yang ketiga menentukan pembimbing dalam mengawasi program-program. Dan iii Implementasi kaderisasi da’i Pondok Pesantren Nurul Muttaqin dalam mencapai tujuannya dilakukan dengan beberapa pelatihan dakwah mengenai kaderisasi da’i seperti : Pelatihan Ceramah, Pelatihan Tanya Jawab, Pelatihan Diskusi, Pelatihan Drama, Metode Pelatihan dakwah dan pelatihan menulis. Integration of da'wah within Islamic boarding schools as one of the strategies in the form of developing akhlakul karimah and love and concern for today's youth morals, to protect the young generation until now. the habits of daily life which are increasingly playing a bigger role in creating solid regeneration in religion and the greater the influence in the world of da'wah and society itself. This study aims to find out how the implementation and form of management are carried out by the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in the cadre of preachers. The type of research used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive field research method. This study uses a da'wah management approach, namely an approach that emphasizes the process of managing the Cadres of Preachers at the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School, Penumangan Baru, Tulang Bawang Barat. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and data analysis. The author took 2 people to become informants in this study, namely the Leaders of the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School and the Head of Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School Student Care. From the results of the author's research, the authors can conclude that the implementation and form of management carried out by the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in the cadre of preachers, the actions carried out by the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School, namely creating and fostering reliable Da'i candidates and besides that, every the steps taken by the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School have different implementations, such as implementers in the cadre of preachers, namely through the Muhadoroh program to strengthen the knowledge and mentality of the students. As for the steps taken by the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in implementing cadre management, the first is to determine the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School program, the second to make a schedule of the program's activities and the third to determine a supervisor in supervising the programs. And the implementation of the cadre regeneration of the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in achieving its goals was carried out with v several da'wah training regarding preacher cadre such as: Lecture Training, Question and Answer Training, Discussion Training, Drama Training, Da'wah Training Methods and writing training.     English for Specific Purposes, English Proficiency, and Academic Achievement in English-Medium Instruction: A Mediation Analysis

    The implementation of English-Medium Instruction (EMI) at higher education institutions pose challenges for the students in achieving content mastery and improving English proficiency as the two most expected outcomes. English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is designed to provide English and learning support for EMI students in achieving the EMI “dual benefits.” This study aimed to examine the relationship between ESP, English proficiency, and academic achievement of EMI students at a university in Indonesia and the mediating effect of English proficiency on the relationship between ESP and academic achievement. This quantitative study employed empirical institutional data about ESP course grades, English proficiency scores, and the overall grade point average of 246 EMI students at a faculty of social science at a state university in Indonesia. A regression analysis using a process by Hayes was performed as the analytical tool. It was found that ESP positively predicted both EMI students’ academic achievement and English proficiency. English proficiency was shown to partially mediate the relationship between ESP and the academic achievement of the EMI students. Both ESP and English proficiency is crucial in enhancing the EMI students’ disciplinary knowledge understanding. Recommendations for more collaborations and language and learningsupports and further studies are provided.     Rancangan Sistem Informasi Nilai Akademik Siswa Berbasis Web Pada Madrasah IBTIDAIYAH Darul Muttaqin Menggunakan PHP Dan MySQL

    Academic value is a measure of student achievement at MI Darul Muttaqin in the form of a report card. The process of assessing academic values is carried out by students who come directly to MI Darul Muttaqin, based on interviews with the author and relevant parties involved in processing student academic grades. Currently, the process still uses manual methods, where homeroom teachers manage student grades from the teachers for all subjects, with the use of a considerable amount of paper. This results in errors in managing student grade data, and the process of grade management for report card filling at MI Darul Muttaqin is still hindered by the time it takes. As a solution, the design of a web-based Academic Grade Information System for students at MI Darul Muttaqin has been proposed to facilitate the homeroom teachers in managing student grades, as well as to make it easier for students to access their grades for the subjects they have taken without needing to come to the school. This system is developed using the SDLC methodology, along with a MySQL database and PHP programming language.     Using English as a Means of Instruction (EMI) in Teaching Content Subjects

    A foreign language will be more effectively learned when integrated with content rather than isolated as a learned subject; thus the language should be more used in contexts than just formally learned. Recent language teaching methods have been geared toward involving both content and language teaching simultaneously, referred as CLIL, CBI, EMI or L2 use. This article is aimed at describing the use of L2 in teaching content subjects by looking at the attitudes of the students and the interaction between students and teachers at a university in Indonesia. Using mixed research method by conducting survey and non-participant observation to obtain the data about the classroom interaction and attitudes of the students in EMI classes, this study reveals that students’ attitude towards EMI classes is at a moderate to high level. The classroom interaction has been mostly done in English. Both the students and the lecturers use English in the classroom when they are involved in activities up to a certain level for content understanding. In addition, it is common to find code mixing or code switching during interaction. This can be due to their awareness of the benefits and advantages of having more English interaction in this program

    This research aims to describe the model of economic empowerment of the people through the waqf assets of the Darul Muttaqin Grand Mosque. The research problem is to find out the description of the model, analysis and transformation of economic empowerment of the people through waqf assets at the Darul Muttaqin Grand Mosque, Alang Alang Lebar District. The research method the author uses is qualitative. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is known that the description of the economic empowerment model for the people is a consumptive model and a productive model which is useful in assisting in poverty alleviation programs and leading to a prosperous society by empowering an independent community economy. Useful for increasing economic welfare, helping to increase community income, economic independence and reducing poverty, and for economic empowerment of the people based on sharia values in congregation, carried out based on cooperation and based on the spirit of helping each other in goodness, and can be transformed into the community or congregation appropriate and in accordance with Islamic law.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan model pemberdayaan ekonomi umat melalui aset wakaf Masjid Besar Darul Muttaqin. Permasalahan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran model, analisis dan Transformasi Pemberdayaan ekonomi umat melalui aset wakaf Masjid Besar Darul Muttaqin Kecamatan Alang alang Lebar. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, Berdasarkan wawancara dengan bebrapa informan yakni: Hipmi Ramadhan ketua dewan Yayasan dan Lukman Hadi kabid usaha dan dagang. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diketahui bahwa gambaran model pemberdayaan ekonomi umat adalah model konsumtif dan model produktif yang berguna membantu dalam program pengentasan kemiskinan dan menuju masyarakat hidup sejahtera dengan memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat yang mandiri.
