    Implementation of academic Supervision aims to assist and develop the ability of teachers in the learning process for the sake of achievement of the learning objectives. This research aims to gain an idea of how the head of the State Junior High School 1 Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang in carrying out academic supervision. To achieve that goal, this research uses qualitative, descriptive methods. The technique of data collection was done through observation, interview and documentation. While the research subject is headmaster, Deputy headmaster and the Board of teachers. The results showed that: (1) academic supervise Planning in State Junior High School 1 Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang, (2) supervise academic program implementation in State Junior High School 1 Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang, (3) supervise academic Evaluation State Junior High School 1 Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang.Keywords: Academic supervision and school principal

    The forest fires that have recently occurred have had enormous impacts and losses on human life and other living things, the occurrence of haze, exposure to human diseases, and paralyzing human activities. This incident continues to occur repeatedly every year because of the lack of early warning and it is difficult for officers in the field to find spot fires. Therefore the aim of this research is to create a system that can monitor forest security in real time, and carry out temporary warnings and countermeasures as early as possible and provide warning information in the event of excessive heat, fire, and smoke quickly covering, LCD, buzzerwarning, a short telephone call accompanied by an SMS notification of danger to the user and the fire department which included a Google Map link to make it easier for the officers to find the spot fires. Also, this system is able to control the device remotely with SMS commands. It is hoped that this system can make it easier for the public and officers to carry out surveillance in order to prevent unwanted things and minimize the occurrence of losses and casualties.Kebakaran hutan yang terjadi belakangan ini menimbukan dampak serta kerugian yang sangat besar untuk kehidupan manisa serta mahluk hidup lainnya, terjadiya kabut asap, terpaparnya penyakit pada manusia, hingga melumpuhkan aktivitas kegiatan manusia. Kejadian ini terus terjadi secara berulang tiap tahunnya karean minimnya peringatan dini dan sulit petugas di lapangan mencari titik api. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan untuk membuat suatu sistem yang dapat melalukan monitoring keamanan hutan secara real time, dan melalukan peringatan dan penanggulangan sementara sedini mungkin serta memberikan informasi peringatan jika terjadi suhu panas berlebih, api, dan asap dengan cepat meliputi, LCD, buzzerwarning, telpon singkat disertai dengan SMS pemberitahuan bahaya kepada user dan pihak pemadam kebakaran di sertai dengan link Google Map untuk memudahkan petugas untuk mencari titik api penyebab kebakaran. Sistem ini juga mengontrol perangkat dari jarak jauh secara otomatis denga perintah SMS.     Deoil Bleaching Earth (DOBE) is included in the waste from processing the oleochemical industry or CPO so that it is included in the category of waste from processing animal/vegetable fat. In this study, the use of deoil bleaching earth aims to be a substitute for cement in mixing concrete. The method used in this test is to make a concrete mixture using SNI 7656:2012 with deoil bleaching earth as a partial cement substitution of 5%, 10%, 50%, and 20%. Concrete that was treated for 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days was then tested to get the compressive strength and volume weight of the concrete. From the test results obtained the highest compressive strength value of 10.1 MPa with a variation of 10% deoil bleaching earth. This test shows that the greater the level of deoil bleaching earth in the concrete mixture, the lower the compressive strength value produced

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Analisis Kinerja Penetas Telur Dengan Sistem Penggerak Manual Menggunakan Solar Cell

    Mesin penetas telur merupakan alat sederhana yang menggunakan lampu pijar 5w dan elemen pemanas 12v, untuk menghasilkan panas yang digunakan oleh para peternak dengan kapasitas yang kecil, namun seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi mesin ini dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kemudahan dalam penetasan telur. Pembuatan mesin penetas telur ini bersumber dari listrik PLN dan di rencanakan bersumber dari energi panas matahari dengan menggunakan panel surya. Dalam proses modifikasi mesin penetas telur tenaga surya ini memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu diawali dengan tahap pembuatan kerangka mesin, proses perancangan alat, modifikasi rangkaian kelistrikannya, dan perhitungan daya listrik yang digunakan. Dari hasil pengujian mesin penetas telur yang menggunakan energi listrik PLN daya yang terpakai sebesar 26,66 watt dan energi listrik selama 24 jam sebesar 501,22 Wh atau dan direncanakan dengan pemasangan PLTS maka di butuhkan 2 panel surya dengan kapasitas masing-masing 100wp, 2 buah baterai dengan kapasitas12V, 48 Ah , dengan Inverter 30 Watt dan Scc 12 Ampere
