Mapping the Energy ADE to CityGML 3.0
In order to limit the global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius, all sectors have to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and become more sustainable. This also includes the building sector, which is in Europe responsible for 40% of the total energy consumption (European Commission, 2020). A way to work towards this goal is by retrofitting the existing building stock to become more energy efficient. Urban Building Energy Modelling (UBEM) can help in this endeavour by identifying energy-saving potentials and thus to effectively allocate the required resources (Horak et al., 2022). Yet, UBEM involves many stakeholders which is why standards are crucial to facilitate data exchange and interoperability among them. In this context, the Energy ADE v1.0 was developed as an extension for the semantic 3D city model standard CityGML 2.0. It serves two purposes, first by storing energy related information on the individual building level, and second by providing the necessary input data for UBEM simulations (Agugiaro et al., 2018). However, in September 2021 CityGML 3.0 was released. The introduced changes directly affect the structure of the Energy ADE, which is why it cannot fully function on it anymore. This thesis therefore answers the question, how and to what extent the Energy ADE for CityGML 2.0 needs to be adapted to be conformant with the new CityGML 3.0 standard. It is accomplished by following a model-driven approach, where the UML class diagrams for the mapped Energy ADE are created first, before automatically deriving the corresponding XSD schema file. Through the lossless mapping itself, the Energy ADE is integrated as much as possible into CityGML 3.0, while also maintaining a logical symmetry. As such it accounts for the introduced changes of CityGML 3.0, by making use of the space and geometry concept, the versioning possibilities as well as the provided structures to model time-dependent data. The result is eventually tested and verified by converting a sample dataset to the Energy ADE for CityGML 3.0. This work provides an example on how other ADEs can be adapted to fit the new CityGML 3.0 standard and thus hopefully to the further establishment of it.Geomatic

Job Satisfaction as a Mediation Variable in the Employees of PT Surya Toto Indonesia
Serpong Unit. Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2020
This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance with
job satisfaction as a mediating variable on the employees of PT. Surya Toto Indonesia Serpong
Unit. This research uses a survey method with a descriptive approach. The population in this
study amounted to 133 employees with a sample of 100 respondents. The model used in this
study is a causal model or relationship and influence, or also called path analysis. To test the
hypothesis that will be proposed in this research, the model match analysis technique used is
SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) which is operated using the SMARTPLS 3.0 program. In
this study, the detection of the influence of intervening variables was tested through multiple
tests. The results showed that work motivation affects employee performance with job
satisfaction as a mediation between the two. The original sample value of the influence of these
three variables is 0.312 and the t-statistic> 1.96 is 3.816. Furthermore, the p-value is 0,000
<0.05, so the work motivation variable has an effect on employee performance with job
satisfaction as a mediator having a significant indirect effect. The sobel test results get a value
of 7,519, the value is> 1.96. This proves that job satisfaction can mediate the effect of work
motivation on employee performance by 75.19%.

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) BERBANTUAN MEDIA CROSSWORD PUZZLE TERHADAP MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI TATA SURYA KELAS VII MTsN 10 BLITAR

Initial Impact of the Gabíkovo Hydroelectric Scheme on the Species Richness and Composition of 0+ Fish Assemblages in the Slovak Flood Plain, River Danube
Relatively little information exists on the effects of hydroelectric schemes on 0+ fish composition in large European rivers because few or no pre-impact data exist. We compared 0+ fish species richness and composition, relative density, fish size as well as available and used habitat using data from 12 floodplain sites sampled just prior to (1992) and four years after (1996) the start of operations of the Gabíkovo hydropower station on the River Danube (Slovakia). We also used modelling techniques to assess the change in species richness and habitat use and to predict 1996 occurrences from the 1992 data set. The floodplain was greatly modified by the hydroscheme. Only 12 of 27 sites sampled in August 1992 were extant in August 1996. Therefore, all four channel types identified (flowing, abandoned, weir, wing-dam) were more lentic in 1996 than in 1992, with increased width, smaller-sized sediment (silt, clay) and greater amounts of macrophytes. After the operations of the hydroscheme, the overall relative density of fishes (individuals per surface area) of all ages decreased, with the exception of 0+ fishes, despite a slight reduction in 0+ fish density in all channel types except weirs. Species number increased from 25 to 28, although in all channel types there was a change in the composition of the 0+ fish assemblages, with rheophiles generally replaced by limnophiles and migrants from the lower Danube. The two most important microhabitat variables were the proportion of macrophytes and gravel, the latter being the factor distinguishing 0+ fish microhabitat use in 1992 (preferences) and 1996 (indifference or avoidance). Species richness and 0+ fish density in 1996 could be predicted from the 1992 data using simple log-linear models (density, richness, sample number). Species-specific occurrence in 1996 could not be predicted using environmental/fish data from 1992 with multiple regression or generalized additive models (GAM). However, the overall GAM from 1992 could predict overall fish occurrence in 1996
Dangerous Liaisons: Relationships between design, craft and art
The introductory essay [co-authored] examines the background and current interconnections between design, craft and the fine arts. This Special Issue was able to expand the debate by showing how attitudes to materials – from 19C sculpture to current fashion – appropriate craftsmanship to reinvigorate notions of handmaking
The clustering of galaxies in the SDSS-III Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey:including covariance matrix errors
JP acknowledges support from the UK Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) through the consolidated grant ST/K0090X/1 and from the European Research Council through the ‘Starting Independent Research’ grant 202686, MDEPUGS. AGS acknowledges support from the Trans-regional Collaborative Research Centre TR33 ‘The Dark Universe’ of the German Research Foundation (DFG).We present improved methodology for including covariance matrices in the error budget of Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) galaxy clustering measurements, revisiting Data Release 9 (DR9) analyses, and describing a method that is used in DR10/11 analyses presented in companion papers. The precise analysis method adopted is becoming increasingly important, due to the precision that BOSS can now reach: even using as many as 600 mock catalogues to estimate covariance of two-point clustering measurements can still lead to an increase in the errors of ∼20 per cent, depending on how the cosmological parameters of interest are measured. In this paper, we extend previous work on this contribution to the error budget, deriving formulae for errors measured by integrating over the likelihood, and to the distribution of recovered best-fitting parameters fitting the simulations also used to estimate the covariance matrix. Both are situations that previous analyses of BOSS have considered. We apply the formulae derived to baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) and redshift-space distortion (RSD) measurements from BOSS in our companion papers. To further aid these analyses, we consider the optimum number of bins to use for two-point measurements using the monopole power spectrum or correlation function for BAO, and the monopole and quadrupole moments of the correlation function for anisotropic-BAO and RSD measurements.Peer reviewe
"Decision Making in Europe: Were Spain and Poland Right to Stop the Constitution in December 2003?"
This paper tries to explain why Spain and Poland stopped the Draft Constitution for the European Union in December 2003 and discusses whether this action was compatible with these countries long term interests. The author finds that the decline in power – measured by a power index – arising for Spain and Poland when going from the Nice Treaty to the Draft Constitution cannot explain their veto. While the two countries lose power when shifting from Nice to the Draft Constitution other countries’ power shrinks even more. Other measures - passage probability, blocking leverage and fairness - cannot explain the two countries’ opposition either. This paper contends that the Spanish and Polish rejection can be explained by the weakness of government in the Polish and the need for a reelection topic in the Spanish case. Furthermore this paper asserts that the Spanish and Polish government’s veto was against the medium and long term interest of their own countries. Poland and Spain must have been able to anticipate that the Nice Treaty would not last due to most EU countries’ dislike of it. An analysis of reasonable alternative voting schemes in the EU finds that Spain and Poland would not have been better off in any of these cases and worse off in most; under the voting rules agreed upon under the Irish presidency in June 2004 the two countries are weaker than under the Draft Constitution
