    MATLAB source code for automated measurement of anteroposterior diameter and foraminal widths in MRI images for lumbar spinal stenosis diagnosis

    Lumbar Spinal Stenosis causes low back pain through pressures exerted on the spinal nerves. This can be verified by measuring the anteroposterior diameter and foraminal widths of the patient’s lumbar spine. Our goal is to develop a novel strategy for assessing the extent of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis by automatically calculating these distances from the patient’s lumbar spine MRI. Our method starts with a semantic segmentation of T1- and T2-weighted composite axial MRI images using SegNet that partitions the image into six regions of interest. They consist of three main regions-of-interest, namely the Intervertebral Disc, Posterior Element, and Thecal Sac, and three auxiliary regions-of-interest that includes the Area between Anterior and Posterior elements. A novel contour evolution algorithm is then applied to improve the accuracy of the segmentation results along important region boundaries. Nine anatomical landmarks on the image are located by delineating the region boundaries found in the segmented image before the anteroposterior diameter and foraminal widths can be measured. The performance of the proposed algorithm was evaluated through a set of experiments on the Lumbar Spine MRI dataset containing MRI studies of 515 patients. These experiments compare the performance of our contour evolution algorithm with the Geodesic Active Contour and Chan-Vese methods over 22 different setups. We found that our method works best when our contour evolution algorithm is applied to improve the accuracy of both the label images used to train the SegNet model and the automatically segmented image. The average error of the calculated right and left foraminal distances relative to their expert-measured distances are 0.28 mm (p = 0.92) and 0.29 mm (p = 0.97), respectively. The average error of the calculated anteroposterior diameter relative to their expert-measured diameter is 0.90 mm (p = 0.92). The method also achieves 96.7% agreement with an expert opinion on determining the severity of the Intervertebral Disc herniations. This data consists of the MATLAB source code, improved label images, and composite images used in the experiment. In the research of Performance Analysis of Jalan Jendral Sudirman, it is conducted a peak hour survey on Jl. Kinibalu to General Sudirman and Jl. General Sudirman to KH. Khalid and the survey was conducted at 6:00 to 9:00, 12:00 to 14:00, 16:00 to 18:00. After the calculation of the existing data, in segment I directions Jl. Kinibalu - General Sudirman is 1526.86 pcu / hr and service level is at level C, which means stable current zone, the driver in the limit chooses speed.     ABSTRAK Dini Nailul Authari S: Pengaruh Mutasi dan Rotasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perpindahan Karyawan yang sering terjadi di PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru. Rumusan masalah penelitian apakah mutasi dan rotasi kerja berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja Karyawan di Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru, Apakah Mutasi dan Rotasi Kerja Berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja Karyawan di PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Mutasi dan Rotasi Kerja secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Mutasi dan Rotasi Kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja Karyawan PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang berlokasi di JL. Jend Sudirman No.450, Kecamatan. Tanah Datar Kota Pekanbaru, Provinsi Riau, dengan populasi 39 orang Karyawan BSI KC Sudirman 1 Pekanbaru. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus total sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi, jumlah sampel yang mengisi kuesioner ini adalah 39 orang. Dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bentuk SPSS Versi 26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mutasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja Karyawan dengan nilai t hitung > t tabel (2.206 > 1.688) dan dengan nilai signifikansi (0.034 0.05) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak, berarti variabel independent secara parsial tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel dependen kinerja karyawan. Sementara untuk uji f diperoleh f hitung > f tabel (5.287>2.87) dan nilai signifikansi < 0.05 (0.010 < 0.05) dengan pengaruh 18,4% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 81,6% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak ada pada penelitian ini.     Museum Sasmitaloka Panglima Besar Jenderal Sudirman atau yang biasa disebut dengan Museum Jenderal Sudirman adalah museum memorial yang dimaksudkan untuk mengenang jasa-jasa almarhum Jenderal Sudirman sebagai salah seorang Pahlawan Indonesia yang memiliki andil besar dalam memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Bangunan museum ini didirikan pada masa pemerintahan kolonial Belanda pada tahun 1890. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi edukasi rekreasi yang sejalan dengan perkembangan anak generasi sekarang, museum pun dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan tata pamer maupun teknologi edukasi masa kini. Untuk itu pemaksimalan pengalaman edukasi pengunjung diperlukan, tidak lupa memperhatikan batasan bangunan cagar yang terdapan didalam Museum Jenderal Sudirman Melihat semakin majunya teknologi edukasi interaktif sekarang ini, museum haruslah juga mengambil andil guna meningkatkan pembelajaran dalam museum dengan menggunakan teknologi-teknologi edukasi terbaru. Ditambah dengan maraknya platform-platform komik digital yang mudah diakses, dibaca dan dipelajari oleh anak-anak juga berkemungkinan untuk mendorong minat anak dalam membaca. Oleh karena itu, perancang menggunakan panel-panel komik dan penerapan pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Melalui penerapan panel komik dalam interior Museum Sudirman, penyampaian informasi maupun pembelajaran diharapkan dapat berlangsung secara maksimal dengan menjaga keberlangsungan cerita sejarah ditiap vitrin maupun infografis dengan menampilkan beberapa sequence yang berurutan antar panel satu dengan yang lainnya. Melalui penerapan pembelajaran Discovery Learning ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya rangsangan pada pikiran anak dan mengajak berimajinasi sehingga anak mampu menarik gagasan atau kesimpulan dari pembelajaran yang Museum ini sampaikan

    This study indicates the ways in which various aspects of the author(s) are brought forth in Dumb type’s performance art, the S/N production. Previous research has suggested a non-hierarchical organization of Dumb type and the absence of a “privileged author” in Dumb type’s collaborative work, S/N. However, the results that I have investigated from member’s interviews on the creative process of S/N along with my analysis of the recorded images of S/N, indicate a different aspect of the author(s). First, S/N was created through, so to speak, the collective ideas of the members of Dumb type. Further, S/N has at least nine quotations from previous performances, installations, and printed writings, besides the work-in-progress technique. Explicating one of the “author functions” as given by Michel Foucault, each text has plural subjects of the author. However, it has been revealed from members’ interviews that Teiji Furuhashi had a decision-making role in selecting the members’ ideas within the performance. Since then, S/N has had plural subjects of creation; however, Furuhashi is one of the subjects of creation along with the “privileged author.” S/N has plural authors (diffusive authors) yet at the same time, it has a “privileged author,” Teiji Furuhashi (cohesive author)

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
