No full textThis essay examines the role of the dominant Malay intelligentsia in imagining Malaysia, using as platform for discussion two contemporary teen novels by Gunawan Mahmood: This Land (originally published in Malay as Tanah Ini in 1996; out in English translation in 2002) and Namaku Ayoko (My Name is Ayoko; 1994). The chosen author and texts are little known outside of the Malay literary world, which alters not the fact that Gunawan is a multiple award-winning, state-affiliated writer who, like many of his Malay-Muslim contemporaries and predecessors, believes that “those with knowledge ought to write” and “literature should educate, awaken and inspire society” (in Mahmood, 1993:x). Gunawan is an ‘intellectual’ insofar as he participates in the production and distribution of knowledge, as someone who professes a vocation for the art of “representing, embodying, articulating a message, a view, an attitude, philosophy or opinion to, as well as for, a public” (Said, 1996:11). No full textABSTRAK: Gaya kata dan gaya kalimat merupakan unsur penting dalam sebuah karya sastra khususnya cerpen. Penggunaan gaya kata dan gaya kalimat dalam karya sastra membuat pembaca memahami maksud dan tujuan penggarang dalam menulis karya sastra. Selain itu penggunaan diksi dan gaya kalimat digunakan agar pembaca mampu memahami unsur-unsur berkaitan dengan ciri khas penggarang. Terlebih dalam menggunakan aspek lokalitas dalam menulis cerita pendek. Selaras dengan pernyataan tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk gaya kata dan gaya kalimat yang digunakan penggarang dalam menyampaikan lokalitas Jawa pada cerpen-cerpen karya Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. Serta mendeskripsikan gaya kata dan gaya kalimat dalam menyampaikan aspek lokalitas Jawa yang dominan digunakan dalam cerpen cerpen karya Gunawan Triadtmojo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa teknik refrensial. Refrensi yang digunakan yaitu pendapat para ahli, serta penelitian yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Penelitian ini menghasilkan data tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kata yang dominan digunakan oleh penggarang dalam menyampaikan lokalitas Jawa adalah gaya kata kolokial. Gaya kalimat yang dominan digunakan dalam menyampaikan lokalitas Jawa adalah kalimat deklaratif.KATA KUNCI: Leksikal; Gramatikal; Lokalitas Jawa; Cerpen; Gunawan Tri Atdmojo The Author's Style In Delivering Java Locality: Stilistics Of Short Stories By Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. ABSTRACT: Word style and sentence style are important elements in a literary work, especially short stories. The use of word style and sentence style in literary works makes the reader understand the intent and purpose of the author in writing literary works. In addition, the use of diction and sentence style is used so that the reader is able to understand the elements related to the characteristics of the author. Especially in using the locality aspect in writing short stories. In line with this statement, this study aims to describe the form of word style and sentence style used by the author in conveying Javanese locality in the short stories by Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. As well as describing the style of words and sentence styles in conveying aspects of Javanese locality which are dominantly used in short stories by Gunawan Triadtmojo. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used is a referential technique. The references used are the opinions of experts, as well as research relevant to this research. Data collection techniques used reading and note-taking techniques. This research produces written data. The results showed that the dominant style of words used by the author in writing short stories was colloquial. Pelaksanaan Accounting dan Tax Service di Kantor Konsultan Pajak Edy Gunawan

in tax service. There were some tasks performed during the internship related to
accounting and tax, such as fill in Surat Setoran Pajak (SSP), pay tax to the Bank,
report tax to KPP Pratama Tigaraksa, make recapitulation of PPh Pasal 21, PPh
Pasal 23, PPh Pasal 25, and PPh Pasal 4 (2), scan SSP, make recapitulation of petty
cash, input employees data, input purchases.
There were some problems during the internship. When the author input purchases,
tax invoice number was not visible. When the author input employees data, there
were no complete attachment such as KTP, Kartu Keluarga, and NPWP. When the
author made recapitulation of PPh, the documents were not complete such as Bukti
Penerimaan Surat, Bukti Penerimaan Negara and SSP. The solutions are ask for the
incomplete documents.
The suggestion for KKP Edy Gunawan are the company should be more careful in
checking the completeness of documents that will be required, the company is also
more thorough in checking whether the defective documents

Praktik Kerja Lapangan dilaksanakan selama 40 hari yang dimulai sejak tanggal 1 agustus 2016 – 26 september 2016 dengan 5 hari kerja. Senin-Jumat pada pukul 07:30 WIB s.d 15:30. Praktikan ditempatkan di divisi akuntansi, subdivisi akuntansi kantor pusat, bagian pembukuan kantor pusat. Tujuan dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Lapangan adalah agar praktikan memperoleh wawasan, pengalaman, serta mengetahui situasi dan kondisi dunia kerja secara nyata sehingga praktikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam dunia kerja yang sesuai bidangnya. Selama pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan praktikan memperoleh pengetahuan, wawasan, dan pengalaman kerja. A STUDY OF ENGLISH-INDONESIAN CODE MIXING AS FOUND IN THE INDAH GUNAWAN YOUTUBE VIDEO
No full textThis thesis studies the phenomenon of code-mixing which includes the types and reasons for the use of code-mixing by Indah Gunawan in three of the videos uploaded on her YouTube channel. This study aims to identify the types and reasons for the use of code-mixing by Indah Gunawan in a podcast entitled The Indah G Show. In this study, the author implemented a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected by observing Indah Gunawan's utterances, which included components of code-mixing. The data was analyzed using Muysken's (2000) theory of code-mixing and Hoffman's (1991) theory of reasons for code-mixing. Three types of code mix were discovered among the 37 data analyzed: insertion (24), alternation (12), and lexical congruent lexicalization (1). Insertion appeared as the most frequently used type of code mix and lexical congruent was the least used type of code mix by Indah Gunawan. In addition, the writer identified five reasons for Indah's use of code-mixing: talking about a particular topic (21), quoting somebody else (4), interjection (1), repetition used for clarification (2), being emphatic about something (2), and expressing group identity (7). During the internship, there were some problems, there were incomplete data
when the author make recapitulation of PPh, like there is no Proof of Acceptance
Letter, Proof of State Revenue and the Tax Payment. Solution to the problem is

Parameter Sensitivity Measures for Single Objective, Multi-Objective, and Feasibility Robust Design Optimization
No full textUncontrollable variations are unavoidable in engineering design. If ignored, such variations can seriously deteriorate performance of an optimum design. Robust optimization is an approach that optimizes performance of a design and at the same time reduces its sensitivity to variations. The literature reports on numerous robust optimization techniques. In general, these techniques have three main shortcomings: (i) they presume probability distributions for parameter variations, which might be invalid, (ii) they limit parameter variations to a small (linear) range, and (iii) they use gradient information of objective/constraint functions. These shortcomings severely restrict applications of the techniques reported in the literature.
The objective of this dissertation is to present a robust optimization method that addresses all of the above-mentioned shortcomings. In addition to being efficient, the robust optimization method of this dissertation is applicable to both single and multi-objective optimization problems.
There are two steps in our robust optimization method. In the first step, the method measures robustness for a design alternative. The robustness measure is developed based on a concept that associated with each design alternative there is a sensitivity region in parameter variation space that determines how much variation a design alternative can absorb. The larger the size of this region, the more robust the design. The size of the sensitivity region is estimated by a hyper-sphere, using a worst-case approach. The radius of this hyper-sphere is obtained by solving an inner optimization problem. By comparing this radius to an actual range of parameter variations, it is determined whether or not a design alternative is robust. This comparison is added, in the second step, as an additional constraint to the original optimization problem. An optimization technique is then used to solve this problem and find a robust optimum design solution.
As a demonstration, the robust optimization method is applied to numerous numerical and engineering examples. The results obtained are numerically analyzed and compared to nominal optimum designs, and to optimum designs obtained by a few well-known methods from the literature. The comparison study verifies that the solutions obtained by our method are indeed robust, and that the method is efficient
