Get PDFThe purpose of this research to knows and analyzes the influence of work competency and transformational leadership toward work satisfaction and its implication on worker performance of study program in Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang, Lampung Province. Population in this research is 297 people or all worker, whereas the sample is a number of 260 workers suitable with SEM requirement. The tool of data collection uses questioner instrument whereas the tool of data analyzing uses statistics, i.e. structural equation modeling (SEM). Based on SEM analyzing by using Lisrel 8.70, it is known that work competency variable and transformational leadership give influence toward work satisfaction of study program in Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang environment. The result describes that is very determined by work satisfaction which improve and work satisfaction is influenced by transformational leadership which applies on Study program in Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang environment

Get PDFThis research is aimed to disclose fogging machine application effectiveness for improving klengkeng pingpong seed production. The effectiveness of fogging machine may be measured based on the degree of the fogging machine usage success in klengkeng pingpong nursery process, whose degree of achievement shall be higher than nursery process conducted in natural manner. The research result shows that the average degree of achievement in klengkeng pingpong nursery in way of seedling, top grafting, bridging or marcot, by using fogging machine is 79.26%. Meanwhile klengkeng pingpong nursery process in natural manner is approximately 40%. In return to this, it indicates that fogging machine usage on klengkeng pingpong nursery is deemed effective as it has exceeded successful level of natural klengkeng pingpong nursery. This is a qualitative research with observation, depth-interview, questionnaire used as the instruments to get the data of the research. The objects of the research are certifiedb and non-certified senior highschool teachers of natural science, social science, Indonesian and English of both the private and state schools in SurakartaThe research has obtained the following findings. The certification program has created an impact on both certified and non-certified senior highschool teachers in Surakarta. With their limitations, they tend to implement innovative teaching. There is a difference between certified teachers and non-certified teachers. The former teach better than the later. There is a slight difference between the cerified teachers who passed the portofolio exam and the certified teachers who passed the PLPG exam. The portofolio teachers teach more innovatively than the PLPG teachers.The research has also found that the teachers are facing some problems that discourage them to implement innovative teaching. First, they are forced to prepare the students for the National Exam. Secondly, they have the wrong perception that teaching innovatively means using computers or laptops and this means being expensive. HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN PAMPERS DENGAN INTEGRITAS KULIT PADA LANSIA DI RW 1 DAN 7 KELURAHAN BULAK KECAMATAN BULAK SURABAYA

Beberapa lansia yang mengalami hambatan mobilitas fisik, kelemahan otot dan membutuhkan bantuan ADL akan membutuhkan pampers dan hal ini berdampak positif dan negatif. Penggunaan pampers yang baik akan menghasilkan integritas yang positif namun apabila penggunaan pampers yang tidak baik maka berdampak negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan penggunaan pampers dengan integritas kulit pada lansia di RW 1 dan 7 Kecamatan Bulak Kelurahan Bulak Surabaya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian korelasi spearman dengan pendekatan crossectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia >45 tahun. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan pampers dan variabel dependennya adalah integritas kulit. Dengan jumlah populasi sejumlah 40 dengan perhitungan sampel 36 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah lembar koesioner. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengisian kuisioner yang diisi oleh responden. Data reponden yang telah didapat akan diproses dalam tabulasi data. Hasil penelitian didapatkan karakteristik penggunaan pampers dengan baik yaitu 27 orang (75%). Integritas kulit yang cukup, yaitu 17 orang (47,2%) menunjukkan berdasarkan uji korelasi Spearman, didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan pampers dengan integritas kulitnya dengan p = 0,187. Dari hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa lansia dapat mengerti dan mengetahui cara menggunakan pampers dengan benar.
ABSTRACT
Some elderly people who experience physical mobility impairment, muscle weakness and need ADL help will need pampers and this has a positive and negative impact. The use of good pampers will produce a positive integrity but if the use of pampers is not good then it will have a negative impact. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the use of pampers with skin integrity in the elderly in RW 1 and 7 districts bulak subscription. In this research use spearman correlation approach. Population in this study is is elderly >45 years. How to sample by using purposive sampling technique. This independent variable is the use use of pampers and this dependent variable is the integrity of the skin. With a total population of 40 with a sample calculation of 36 respondents. The data of respondents that have been obtained will be processed that have been obtained will be processed in tabulation of file. Result of research get characteristic usage of pampers is 27 people (75%). Enough integrity is 17 orang (47,2%). Showed that based on spearman correlation test, it was found that there was no significant relationship between the use of pampers and their skin integrity with p = 0,187. From the results it is concluded that the elderly can understand and know how to use pampers correctly

A Tool to Solve Sentence Segmentation Problem on Preparing Speech Database for Indonesian Text-to-speech System
No full textAbstractCreating a training data ready to be used for developing a text-to-speech (TTS) system can be a difficult task, since sometimes the recorded audio data is not the same with the prepared texts. To overcome differences between audio and text data, we developed a tool to segment audio data into sentences. As it is known, doing sentence segmentation of audio data manually needs efforts and resources. This paper presents a solution for alleviating problems encountered during segmentation process of audio data for developing an Indonesian TTS system. The tool was developed based on a fact that bahasa Indonesia is a syllable-timed language. We found that our tool reduces resources needed for segmenting Indonesian audio data
