Comparison of Discounted Cash Flow and Economic Value Added Valuation Methods : Protect Company LLC
No full textThere were two principle objectives in this thesis: a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical aim was related to the comparison of two most-widely used business valuation methods, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Economic Value Added (EVA). By comparing the two methods the author gave a recommendation which valuation approach would be more applicable in small entities and their appraisal processes. The practical objective referred to the actual valuation of the Client Company with the use of the selected methods.
The theoretical framework of the thesis presents a description of what business valuation is, including its importance and misconceptions about it. Additionally, the theoretical part of the work provides a basic overview of different business valuation approaches and a deep study of the two most-widely used ones, DCF and EVA, along with their advantages and disadvantages, key components and the valuation processes.
The result of the thesis is the Client Company’s value, which can be used by the Company’s management in negotiations with investors and debtors. Moreover, the Company might use the outcome of the study in case of merger or acquisition propositions. Besides that, the author, performing as the Company’s consultant during the work, suggested to the Client’s management a few methods of the future financial situation improvements
Liro-epical Paradigm of Viacheslav Adamchyk’s Prose
No full textIn the article the liro-epical paradigm of one of the most significant representative of philological generation Viacheslav Adamchyk is analyzed. The author of the article shows the evolution of V. Adamchyk’s prose to lyrical, psychological, meditative, philosophical, analytical manner of writing – and through this – to gender, genre and style synthesis. This thesis is proved by the results of statistic analyses of dialogues, monologues of various kinds, landscape descriptions and retrospections, used by the writer in his stories.Артыкул прысвечаны аналізу ліра-эпічнай парадыгмы прозы аднаго з выдатных прадстаўнікоў філалагічнага пакалення Вячаслава Адамчыка. Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the peculiarities of the terminological field of research on the problem of formation of the pedagogical culture of future officers of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Humanitarian training is an important aspect of military education. It is necessary to determine the peculiarities of the formation of the pedagogical culture of future officers.

No full textThe article views peculiarities of small prose of the representative of philological generation Viacheslav Adamchyk. The author of the present article analyses V. Adamchyk’s works of small forms in the context of Belarusian and Russian literature of the second part of XX century (M. Streltsov, B. Solouhin, O. Berggolts), displays similarity of style manners of original writers, determines the role of lyrical, autobiographical factors in their creative activity. An Aesthetics of Exclusion: Konstantin Vaginov's Kozlinaia pesn'
No full textThis thesis renegotiates the position of Konstantin Vaginov’s novel Kozlinaia pesn΄ within the meta-text of post-Revolutionary culture, challenging the long accepted view that Vaginov maps out a programme of exclusion from Bolshevik reality in an attempt to preserve the classical ideals of pre-Revolutionary Russian culture from ruin. Vaginov’s ambivalent treatment of such trends in intellectual culture as the nature of the life culture dualism, the tenability of culture a priori and framings of rebirth in projections of cultural history are dialogised with the theories of Viacheslav Ivanov, Viktor Shklovskii, Roman Iakobson, Mikhail Bakhtin and Lev Pumpianskii.
In addition, critical reception centred around the novel’s status as roman-à-clef is also challenged, particularly the insistence that the novel accurately depicts the reality of intellectual life during the Soviet 1920s and the consequences of the struggle for hegemony over culture.
As an alternative to such readings, the world-view of an all encompassing life is posited as central to Vaginov’s aesthetics, marked by the tendencies to lay low and simultaneously affirm and negate any stance taken in the struggle for hegemony over culture

Both of them are concerned with the problem of the further issuing of “Przegląd Krajowy” (1909), a Kyiv weekly edition. The author of the article considers the reasons of conflict between the weekly editor in chief Lypynsky and the textual editor of the paper Iaroshevsky. This conflict was not limited to the personal sphere and had an ideological, historiosophic, and political background. It originated from the Ukrainian social and political life of the early 20th century
