    Gerungisme, “Kitab Suci Fiksi”: Logical and Epistemological Analysis

    The statement of Rocky Gerung (RG), a popular thinker in Indonesia, that "If I use the definition that fiction activates imagination, the holy book is fiction" at the Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC), Tuesday (04/10/2018) has caused controversy both in lay circles and philosophy lecturers in Indonesia. Even reported to the Police of the Republic of Indonesia as a statement that blasphemed religion. To be fair in this matter, this paper uses Husserl's phenomenological approach by putting in epoché all beliefs about the scriptures, especially those adopted by the author, to understand the "Holy Book is Fiction" in the conception of Rocky Gerung (RG). This approach allows the author to understand the concept of RG without being disturbed by initial perceptions, religious beliefs and the author's point of view. Then, the author moves to put the concept of RG in the discussion of contemporary logic that develops in analytic philosophy, namely modal logic, to analyze the possibility of the truth that "Holy Book is Fiction." Furthermore, the author identifies an epistemological position that enables one to view eschatological knowledge in the scriptures as something fictional not real and factual. Agar adil dalam hal ini, tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis Husserl dengan meletakkan epoché semua keyakinan tentang kitab suci, terutama yang dianut oleh penulis, untuk memahami "Kitab Suci adalah Fiksi" dalam konsepsi Rocky Gerung (RG). Pendekatan ini memungkinkan penulis untuk memahami konsep RG tanpa terganggu oleh persepsi awal, keyakinan agama dan sudut pandang penulis. Kemudian, penulis bergerak untuk menempatkan konsep RG dalam pembahasan logika kontemporer yang berkembang dalam filsafat analitik, yaitu logika modal, untuk menganalisis kemungkinan kebenaran bahwa "Kitab Suci adalah Fiksi". Selanjutnya, penulis mengidentifikasi posisi epistemologis yang memungkinkan seseorang untuk melihat pengetahuan eskatologis dalam kitab suci sebagai sesuatu yang fiktif, tidak nyata dan faktual.     Because of its feminist nuances, the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana is an interesting one to study from a gender perspective. Sara Mills scrutinizes the portrayal of women in various texts, including novels, pictures, and news. Sara Mills' writing focuses on the injustice and poor portrayal of women. This research aims to describe and gain an in-depth understanding of patriarchy in Habiburrahman El Shirazy's novel Cinta Suci Zahrana. Additionally, it examines the value of feminism by examining the subject-object position and the reader's position in Sara Mills' work.     This article focuses on the study of UPTD LKSA Care Orphanage in Meulaboh West Aceh Regency as institution for abandoned children. There are three problems to be disscussed, namely: First, how roles and responsibilities of children's institution in the orphanage of Suci Hati. Secondly, how is the effectiveness of the children's institution in the orphanage of Suci Hati to protect the neglected child. Third, how  does the view of Islamic law of the abandoned Child protection Agency. In the authors ' discussion using the research type field Research; observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, children's institution in the orphanage of Suci Hati has achieved effective (successful) in general to meet the needs and protect the displaced children Leader of the institution. In Islam, the right of children is the obligation of Allah SWT. So, parents, people, and governments who are able to run it will get reward rewards from Allah SWT. The one who ignored it will be given difficulties in the world and the hereafter.     The development of interpretation in Indonesia generally used the elements of the locality to make the community easier in understanding messages of Quran. there are many aspects of life like social structure, law, and government systems that are formed by the influence of Islam, as well as several Arabic vocabularies introduced into local languages. The commentator interpreted the Qur'an using the common language is known as localization or vernacularization. Many languages are used in the interpretation of Quran. For example, Malay, Javanese, and Sundanese. Al-Qur’an with the Balinese translation seems rare to be done than other local languages. Cakepan Suci Al-Qur'an Salinan Ring Basa Bali by H. Ahmad Iwan Darmawan (I Wayan Rupa Mengwi) is a translation of the Qur'an in Balinese. He is the member of Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community. Some dictions used local languages that are different from translations in general, like translating the word "Allah" with "Ida Hiyang Widi", the word "believers" alladzina amanu which means "anake sane matutang" and many more. This research is intended to reveal the reason why the author vernacularize some terms of the Qur’an in Cakepan Suci Al-Qur’an Salinan Ring Basa Bali and explain how does the Vernacularization within it. This research is Qualitative research by doing library research. So that in the discussion described and analyzed the vernacularization contained in the translation of the Qur'an that uses local languages, Cakepan Suci Al-Qur’an Salinan Ring Basa Bali. Data collection technique uses the documentation and interview to the related informants. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, namely by collecting and selecting data from all sources, then delivering the result of this reseacrh by describing every kind things relates with the Cakepan Suci Al-Qur’an Salinan Ring Basa Bali. The result showed that (1) This book was written to commemorate one century of Ahmadiyyah in 1989, which aimed to introduce Islamic teachings to the Balinese as the majority of Hinduism. The use of translation in the verses used terminology that is easily understood by the Balinese people so they will not feel strange by rejecting the teachings of Islam. (2) Vernacularization theory contained in the book Cakepan Suci Al-Qur'an Salinan Ring Basa Bali by using two approaches: retention from loanword (divided into two, conscious and unconscious), and terminologization. This aims Balinese people, who are still unfamiliar, able to understand the meaning of Qur’an. (3) This translation has a great influence on the Balinese.     This article studies the ideological motive of modernist Islam in the indegenous tafsir using local Sundanese language: Nurul-Bajan of Muhammad Romli and Ayat Suci Lenyepaneun of Moh. E. Hasim. Using critical discourse analysis approach, the author shows how the modernist ideology of Islam took place and influenced the interpretation of religious texts (tafsi@r), such as the Sundanese tafsir. This ideological tendency can be understood not only as the life background of the author as a local activist modernist Muslim, but also influenced by the historical situation in the 1970s and 1990s, when the strengthening of ideological rivalry between modernist and traditional Islam. Being Sundanese Muslim living in Sundanese region, they use local language media in the interpretation of the Qur’a>n as an effective tool to diseminate modernist Islam

Because participatory planning which is one of the series of development trips mentioned above is the first stage that is crucial for the success of the development process, especially in the village.In the Holy Village Mundu District Cirebon District., there is a problem that is not yet fully visible in the implementation of participatory planning and optimization of its activities. Then it is generally found that during this time the level of community participation in development planning is lacking, In Suci village lack of public facilities and less optimal physical development in progress.This research was conducted with the aim to know the Implementation of Participatory Planning in Physical Development in the Holy Village Mundu District Cirebon District. The research method used is Qualilative research method. In this study, the author tries to describe the Implementation of Participatory Planning in Physical Development in the Holy Village Mundu District Cirebon District.The results of research on the implementation of participatory planning in physical development in the holy village of mundu district of Cirebon district are seen from the dimensions of communication gap, the material composed, the scope of the main idea of the implementation of activities, the role of the community, the detailed objectives in the planning, the motivation of community leaders, social gain legitimacy from community component which not yet fully optimal, need to be improved again participative planning until the end, due to lack of ideas channeled and busyness of citizen of Suci Village Mundu Sub-district of Cirebon Regency and other inhibiting factors. Therefore, efforts should be made in improving the level of participation in the Suci Village District Mundu Cirebon regency

                                                                                         Artikel ini berfokus mengkaji proses penciptaan manusia dalam kitab suci Al-Qur’an dan Alkitab. Penciptaan manusia dituturkan oleh Al-Qur’an dalam QS. Al-Mu’minun [23]: 12-14 dan Alkitab dalam Kejadian 2: 7. Dengan tujuan memperoleh hasil yang komprehensif dan menunjukan perbedaan serta persamaan proses penciptaan manusia dalam kitab suci Al-Qur’an dan Alkitab. Penulis menggali data dari berbagai kitab tafsir Al-Qur’an dan juga tafsir atas Alkitab, begitu pula artikel-artikel jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa dalam Al-Qur’an proses penciptaan manusia ditulis secara bertahap dan lengkap. Meskipun demikian, terdapat persamaan proses penciptaan manusia di dalam kitab suci Al-Qur’an dan Alkitab ialah diciptakan dari tanah. Sedangkan perbedaannya Al-Qur’an menjelaskan proses penciptaan manusia yang dari rahim dengan beberapa tahapan dan evolusi yakni fase nuthfah, ‘alaqah, mudghah, Tulang dan Daging. Sedangkan, Alkitab tidak dijelaskan secara bertahap sebagaimana dalam Al-Qur’an. Hanya dijelaskan bahwa manusia diciptakan dari debu tanah biasa, lalu dihembuskan roh dari surga supaya menjadi makhluk yang hidup. Kata Kunci: Proses, Penciptaan, Manusia, Al-Qur’an, Alkitab.   This article focuses on examining the process of human creation in the Qur\u27an and the Bible. The creation of human beings is narrated by the Qur\u27an in QS. Al-Mu\u27minun [23]: 12-14 and the Bible in Genesis 2: 7. With the aim of obtaining comprehensive results and showing the differences and similarities in the process of human creation in the Holy Qur\u27an and the Bible. The author extracts data from various books of Qur\u27anic commentaries and also commentaries on the Bible, as well as journal articles related to this research. The author concludes that in the Qur\u27an the process of human creation is written in stages and is complete. Nonetheless, there are similarities in the process of human creation in the Qur\u27an and the Bible, namely that they were created from the ground. While the difference is that the Qur\u27an explains the process of human creation from the womb with several stages and evolutions, namely the nuthfah phase, ‘alaqah, mudghah, bones and flesh. Whereas, the Bible is not explained in stages as in the Qur\u27an. It only explains that man was created from the dust of the ground, then breathed into him from heaven to become a living being.     Gender Equity Struggle in Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy as Gender Education Model

    Karya sastra memberikan gambaran  realitas masyarakat dengan penyajian menarik dibanding karya tulis lainnya. Selain itu, penyampaian pesan dalam karya sastra juga unik karena tidak tertulis gamblang, melainkan menggunakan gabungan unsur pembangun karya. Salah satu bentuk karya sastra adalah novel. Novel adalah rangkaian cerita yang memuat konsentrasi kehidupan oleh penulis melalui unsur pembangun. Salah satu realitas yang disinggung dalam novel adalah permasalah sosial ketidakadilan gender. Ketidakadilan gender sebagai masalah sosial masih kurang disadari oleh masyarakat. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh konstruksi sosial yang telah terbentuk sejak lama. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlu adanya penelitian terkait fenomena ketidakadilan gender di dalam novel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bentuk perjuangan kesetaraan gender dan implementasinya pada model pendidikan gender di dalam novel Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan feminis. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif karena berupa paparan uraian hasil pengamatan. Melalui teknik pengumpulan studi pustaka,  peneliti mengumpulkan berbagai data primer dan sekunder yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan sistematis mulai dari menyusun data, kodifikasi, menguraikan, memberikan interpretasi, dan analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan di dalam novel Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahmah El-Shirazy terdapat 4 bentuk perjuangan kesetaraan gender dan 3 implementasi pada model pendidikan. Perjuangan yang tergambar di dalamnya adalah (1) menentang marginalisasi, (2) melawan subordinasi, (3) menghapus stereotip, (4) melawan kekerasan gender. Di dalam novel terdapat hal yang dapat diimplementasikan pada model pendidikan gender, yaitu: (1) keadilan untuk semua gender, (2) pengajaran yang tidak bias, dan (3) partisipasi aktif bagi semua gender. Literary works provide a picture of the reality of society with an attractive presentation compared to other written works. In addition, the delivery of messages in literary works is also unique because it is not written clearly, but uses a combination of elements that build the work. One form of literary work is a novel. Novel is a series of stories that contain the concentration of life by the author through building elements. One of the realities alluded to in the novel is the social problem of gender inequality. Gender inequality as a social problem is still not realized by the community. This is caused by social construction that has been formed for a long time. Based on this, there is a need for research related to the phenomenon of gender inequality in the novel. This study aims to find the form of the struggle for gender equality and its implementation in the gender education model in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. The approach used is a feminist approach. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research because it is a description of the results of the observations. Through library research collection techniques, researchers collect various primary and secondary data related to the object of research. The data analysis of this research used systematic stages starting from compiling the data, codifying, outlining, providing interpretation, and analysis. The results of this study show that in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahmah El-Shirazy there are 4 forms of struggle for gender equality and 3 implementations of the educational model. The struggles depicted in it are (1) against marginalization, (2) against subordination, (3) erasing stereotypes, (4) against gender violence. In the novel there are things that can be implemented in the gender education model, namely: (1) justice for all genders, (2) unbiased teaching, and (3) active participation for all genders
